“Dark and Fair” by Tadeusz Styka (ca. 1908) Marthe Barnède, nicknamed Madame Sappho, is ‘a stunning brunette, with hair the color of deep shadow,’ while Colette, her young and frail lover, is described as ‘a pretty girl with lily-white skin and light blonde hair that crowned her pale ivory forehead with a riotous golden halo. my favourite Bernini statue isn’t a real statue, but the damaged clay and straw angel that was the model for the bronze statue.

The Royal Sisters, Celestia and Luna Redesigned
Wanted to give them more of a ethereal vibe that I felt was missing when watching the show.
Design Notes:
- Celestia’s hair represents a cosmic waterfall. I love her hair color in the show so I only slightly tweaked the colors and added clouds.
- For Luna, I kept her a bit simple, to contrast with her sister more divine design. I made her more look like her initial appearance in the first episode of My Little Pony:FIM. Her veil represents that she carries the night sky with her and her black tipped wings are a symbol of that some of the darkness of Nightmare Moon still lives within Luna, even after being reformed. She still has yet to let go of her past.
- I also incorporated irl bird wing designs into these designs. Swan for Celestia and Raven for Luna.

This song put a spell over me.
Animatic for Hama of the Water Tribe, Bloodbender, after she frees herself from the Fire Nation prison.
Music by Jorge Rivera-Herrans - Get in the Water, from EPIC the Musical, song cover by Morgan Clae [Video Description: Get in the water: Hama faces a Fire Nation soldier at the beach under the light of a full moon. Face tired, almost impassive, she tells him to get in the water. Tides so high: She reaches her hand up to the moonlit sky and the waves of the sea around her start to roil. Her actions in time with the music, she threatens and bloodbends the soldier to step closer to the sea. He shouts no, and Hama sends a wall of water up around them. Hama forces him to kneel and sends the water over the soldier, and the final shots are from his POV as the water rises and covers his vision. ]
