The people of the destroyed city have returned to their devastated neighborhoods, walking through the sorrowful streets among the ruins of their homes that were destroyed by bombs. The streets that once pulsed with life are now empty, filled only with haunting silence. There are no schools for children to learn in, no hospitals to treat the sick, and no markets to fulfill their daily needs.

Water has become a distant dream, and electricity is now a distant memory, just as the hope for peace has turned into a lost dream.

In these tragic circumstances, the Sami family, who lost everything in the war, is facing the hardest test of their lives. Their homes were destroyed, their livelihood lost, and they are in desperate need of assistance.

As the suffering continues, the helping hand remains the only hope. Let us all come together and lend our support to this kind family and others who have no shelter or food. Donating to the Sami family, even with the smallest amount, is a step toward rebuilding hope and dignity. Marwa Sobh has come into my inbox several times now asking me to help her son, Ahmed. As an autistic person myself, I cannot imagine having autism in the middle of a genocide.

According to Marwa, Ahmed has started developing memory loss, as well as severe hearing and seeing loss. He has also started laughing hysterically.

Marwa needs to get care for him quickly, and her goal is very attainable. As of today, November 22, 2024, she has raised €3,779 out of her goal of €5,000.
