Boosting along even if my voice is small. Personally I stopped supporting a lot of things, doing my best to separate from a lot of corporations. There may be a lot of companies that are pro-Israel, but please remember that these are the big guys to focus on! And keep pressuring companies like Starbucks to make change. Your voices matter, your dollar matters. Hit them where it hurts and do it together. When we have a target to focus on, we're better together. Be strong, don't let up for a moment, and even if time passes, keep screaming. We have the ability to make a change, to help our friends in Gaza however we can, whether it's donating e-sims so they can keep in contact, or it's by protesting and boycotting the corporations that defend and support genocide. Keep screaming my friends, keep hope.
Not so gentle reminder, that you’re going to have to stop drinking Starbucks and eating McDonald’s pretty much forever if this is actually going to work. The Montgomery bus boycott lasted for over a year. That means that people walked everywhere for over a year. This is going to require sacrifice. And I promise you it will work in the long run, especially as more people come on board, but this cannot just be a trend. Your resistance Hass to be continual and I know for me, every time I am further radicalized, I change the way I interact with the world and this is a beautiful time to think about changing the way you interact with the world
People may wonder where I’ve gone, I’ve been in my writing dungeon for the past year while drawing and I am losing my mind haha.
So this isn't related to fandom stuff, although maybe you could use it for childhood head cannon stuff. It's just a weirdly fond memory of mine for my childhood and so I grip tightly to them since I barely remember my childhood thanks to ✨trauma✨ but I vividly remember a little thing my mom would do for us for St. Patrick's day. Now my family has a lot of Irish ancestry, so St. Patrick's day is meaningful to me as a lot of Irish culture is. I'm pretty sure this isn't a practice that other's do but yeah.. enough of me prattling, I'll explain the little tradition. The night before St. Patrick's day, my sisters and I would leave out one of our shoes outside our door before we went to bed that night (I always remember leaving out my left shoe) and then the next morning, there would be candies within the shoe. I always loved this but anytime I ever told someone about it that wasn't my family, I would just get weird looks. I think it was simply a little something my mom started to do for her daughters to give us a reason to remember smaller, less celebrated holidays... or maybe it was to give us something happy to do during her and dad's divorce. I remember being pretty bummed about missing that little tradition one year because St Patrick's fell on his weekend, but when we came back, I was overjoyed to see that one of our shoes were out and it was filled with candy. The tradition still continues and I do admit, if I ever have kids of my own someday, I'd love to do this tradition as well.
Also, doing some research about this, apparently leaving shoes outside your bedroom door is a thing for others but it's mainly for like Christmas or in Poland's case, it's a pagan midsummer tradition. You learn something new everyday lol!
Okay, I'm not exactly saying Tom is my favorite Eddsworld character... I'm just saying that I will find one of those facial expression memes where it's just crying so I can make him sad...
To draw characters sad is the highest compliment I can give to a character haha, I like angst.
I emerged back from the dead, not with Eddsworld (sorry fam) but with Transformers!!
I am a total sucker for Transformers, especially with G1. The potential for storylines is so beautiful, especially for Starscream’s character development. He’s a queen, I love him lol.
As for the other writing and the logos on Skyfire and Starscream, I thought it would be interesting if they had NASA style logos from when they were scientists. So I came up with this symbol and name!
I love old fandoms

"black hole" or "two insufferable people"
writing is old and im kinda iffy about it, but i wanted to finish illustrating it anyway
enjoy!
So... for Eddsworld, nothing makes me happier than headcannoning Tom having a fascination for all things water based.
Fishing, swimming, waterskiing, ice skating. As long as it's at a body of water (iced over or otherwise) Tom is obsessed with it and scarily good at it.
He's obsessed with water because (again, headcannon) his father worked on boats as a fisherman. Tom looked up to his dad a lot and wanted to be just like him when he grew up, so after his father died, being near water felt like he was close to his dad in spirit. It's why he's so good with the harpoon gun as well, his dad had often talked and showed little Tom the ins and outs of how the machinery worked.
He's great at fixing up stuff like that, the only reason that any of his friends learned his proficiency in fixing aquatic equipment was during one of their adventures when they were stranded on a boat. While the three argued, Tom had been quietly fixing the engine up and getting the boat patched up to take them to shore.
Tord had an inkling about Tom's navel experience when he'd seen Tom tying something down using sailor knots, but he never asked about it.
Anyways! That's my headcannon, good night!
