[Later, he's fighting Soundwave and he nearly blasts the bot, but Soundwave got out of the way.]

[Later, Megatron is mocking him through a video screen in the Autobot Base.]

Megatron: You know Starscream, you actually did me a favor by leaving! No sooner had I made Shockwave Second-In-Command, everything has been functioning perfectly! I tell you, the way he keeps coming up with competent plans, it's almost criminal!

Starscream: YOU DIRTY BAST-!

Starjack bodyguard AU where Wheeljack is a valued scientist and in need of protection from forces that wish to use his inventions for cruel means. Starscream is a Vosian warrior that is the best of the best, currently being punished and demoted due to disobeying direct orders that could have gotten many of his fellow soldiers killed. He also has secret scientific interests and maybe a few other secrets too! They're stuck together for the foreseeable future, at least until the newest terrorist group that call themselves "Primus' Chosen" have been captured and properly dealt with. Angst, secrets revealed, and two bots that seem to just be made for each other fall in love!

I've been dealing with a pretty nasty headache for the past few days, turns out that it was thanks to dehydration, sooo I've been drinking two gatorades and have now had big three bottles of water.

Moral of the story is, please don't be dumb like Spac3y, one big bottle of water isn't going to cut it and please drink something even if you don't feel thirsty.

There is a reason for the absolutely abysmal dubbing. The studio, if I remember correctly, was using first-pass translations for the show. This wasn't exactly considered the most popular thing. They just tried to rush the dubbing as much as possible to try and get an English-speaking audience. It's why we get that weird Mars episode where Starscream yells at the minicons to leave him alone and then 0.3 seconds later going "Even the minicons have abandoned me now.' First pass translation and trying to rush as much as humanly possible because just before this, you had the Transformers Beast Wars boom, so it was likely an attempt to keep fan hype going.
