I love me some motherly Francis. Like, him putting on/fixing Alfred's scarf because it's cold outside, him making lunches for Mattie and Alfred during meetings, him coming to their aid when they're sick, him being there for Alfred and Matthew when Arthur isn't, him visiting and taking care of baby Alfred and baby Matthew because Arthur is away, him singing lullabies to them to this day when they're adults already, him performing "Be Our Guest" to Alfred because Alfred has a mind of five year old and really enjoys it, him brushing Matthew's hair and baking with him, him making flower crowns for them, him checking in on Matthew and Alfred constantly to see if they're doing okay, him instantly knowing if Alfred and Matthew are lying to him or if there's something troubling them, him cuddling them and calling them his babies even though they're already adults,
