All that demon blood turning Sam into a warlock, though.
It bends the rules of the universe slightly, but WOO
I still really want a SPN/Shadowhunters crossover thing.
- “Cas, I thought you said there were no other Nephilim! You called them abominations!” - “I meant there were no other… um… unorganized Nephilim. These are… uh… different. And also a secret.”
- “What do you mean the Mark of Cain turned you into a demon?!” - “What do you meAN IT TURNED PEOPLE WHO ATTACKED YOU INTO SALT?!”
- “No, I will not put on your tight black gear or whatever. I don’t care if you think flannel shirts are impractical.”
- “Vampires and werewolves can’t just ignore their murdering instincts!” - “Not when you say close-minded, racist shit like that.”
- “Mundanes aren’t supposed to stay in the Institute.” - “WHAT did you just call us?!”
I made a list of autistic slang terms that included a few alternatives to functioning labels. I call them trait labels. Here’s an updated version of that list:
Ninja- nonverbal (because ninjas are silent)
Camo - able to pass as NS (camo is short for camouflage)
Dragon - one who hordes collects items relating to a special interest
Timekeeper - one with a low IQ (the timekeepers of Ancient Egypt are believed to have been autistic, and while they were severely handicapped in other areas, they were able to maintain the most accurate calendar in the world of that time period)
Echo - one who primarily communicates through echolalia
Turtle - asocial (because a turtle can withdraw into its shell)
These terms can be combined to describe multiple Autistic traits one has. For example, a nonverbal autistic person who is very introverted and asocial is called a Ninja Turtle (yes, I adjusted the list in such a way that this combination would be possible 😝😝😝). To say that you don’t show a certain trait very often, you can add part time before a label. To throw in another grammar rule, make sure part time comes directly before the trait that isn’t very prevalent. For example, part time turtle ninja refers to someone who is only introverted and asocial at times but is always nonverbal, whereas a part time ninja turtle is someone who’s semiverbal and is always asocial.
I’m open to suggestions for more labels.

HELLO AUTISM COMMUNITY!
I’m sorry, but I’ve gotta rant. The other day I was in New York, and I saw this billboard:
Look a little closer:
Yep, you’re seeing this right. Autism Speaks. On a billboard with Julia. Sesame Street has joined forces with our “pals” (and by pals I mean enemies that we wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole) over at Autism Speaks. Julia, a character who has been embraced and loved by the autism community, is now the face of Autism Speaks, an organization that has hurt our community more than it has helped. I am heartbroken. This character has made me, as an autistic person, so happy and gave me hope that autism is starting to become more accepted by society. And although I don’t speak for everyone in the autism community, I know that there are many people who felt the same way. But now that this character is the face of an ableist movement which pushes the idea that autism is a disease in need of a cure, that hope is gone. PLEASE reblog this to get the word out, whether you’re on the autism spectrum or not.
So, to SPN blogs... I get it that you want to enforce the fact that the fandom will stay together after the show ends next year. I get that you want to talk about what happened. I get that discussions are going on. I get it. That's fine. However, a lot of us (Including me!) are still incredibly emotionally raw from the news. Some people might not even know, and have only just heard about it from this post. Some of us just want to curl up and cry, and don't give a single flying fuck what anybody else has to say about the news. So basically, I get what you're trying to say/do. But maybe wait with the inspirational text posts and the gifsets and the discussions and the "OMG LOOK AT THIS!!!" until the people who are emotionally raw feel that they can log onto Tumblr and take a glance at their dash and not burst into tears, all without having to block tags that includes things that they might actually want to see. You get me? From 2020 onwards, Supernatural is gone. We won't see Sam and Dean, or Castiel, or whoever your favourite character is... Ever again. We won't see a singular glimpse of any of them on our screens outside of Netflix and reruns, ever again, unless by some miracle, we get either a movie, or a reboot of the show. And that's powerful stuff. I'm a teensy-tiny blog with few original posts and mostly reblogged stuff, but if you see this, please take this to heart. I can't log onto Tumblr now without seeing SOMETHING to do with the show ending on my dash, and it just makes me want to curl up and cry because I get so emotional. I can bet you that there are other people who feel the same way. So, I'm begging you, anybody who posts SPN-related content... Either tag your posts clearly as related to SPN ending so that people don't have to block the whole Supernatural tag, or don't post anything to do with it for a while. Okay? Okay.

alright I’m not sure how this works but here we go. so my friend saw this post:
and didn’t think much of it until she got a text saying the very thing the post was warning about.
SHE’S 14 GOD DAMN YEARS OLD. PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SIGNAL BOOST THIS! THAT LINK COULD POTENTIALLY BE DANGEROUS. PLEASE SHARE THIS AND PLEASE, PLEASE BE SAFE & CAREFUL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
I remember @sensoryseeker used to do something called Stim Toy Saturdays where folks would submit pictures of their favourite stim toys, but that was several years ago by this point. I want to start up something similar to that again, because seeing other people’s stim toys is awesome and great for discovering new ways to stim! Would anyone be interested if I revived Stim Toy Saturdays? I would probably choose a different day though (Stim Toy Tuesday maybe?), but yeah, let me know if there is interest and I will set something up!!!
