On top of the building he was standing under there was a kid. The kid looked down and locked eyes with Donny. They both froze and stared at each other for a moment before Don slowly, oh-so-slowly, lifted a single hand and waved. The kid’s face shifted a bit, his flat expression scrunched slightly in confusion and he cocked his head, even as he returned the gesture. He stood abruptly and the cat jumped from his back. He gestured for Don to follow him before walking off to the side of the building.
