whats cool about being trans is my parents are totally right. i did kill their beautiful son. im the thing that animates his corpse in an ever more convincing parody of a happy girl. i devoured him from the inside out and now there is nothing left of him and he is dead dead dead and there is only me, with my hollow eyes and dark eyeliner and long hair, and my big smile. my limp, effeminate gestures belie the marionetting of the boy they loved. my fagginess is his death. already his body becomes a fitter home for my parasitism in full; the tits, the hips, the thighs. sorry about your kid. thanks for the biomass <3

Skip Google for Research

As Google has worked to overtake the internet, its search algorithm has not just gotten worse.  It has been designed to prioritize advertisers and popular pages often times excluding pages and content that better matches your search terms

As a writer in need of information for my stories, I find this unacceptable.  As a proponent of availability of information so the populace can actually educate itself, it is unforgivable.

Below is a concise list of useful research sites compiled by Edward Clark over on Facebook. I was familiar with some, but not all of these.

Google is so powerful that it “hides” other search systems from us. We just don’t know the existence of most of them. Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information. Keep a list of sites you never heard of.

www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.

www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.

https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.

www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.

http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.

www.science.gov is an American state search engine on 2200+ scientific sites. More than 200 million articles are indexed.

www.pdfdrive.com is the largest website for free download of books in PDF format. Claiming over 225 million names.

www.base-search.net is one of the most powerful researches on academic studies texts. More than 100 million scientific documents, 70% of them are free

[cw blood, canon-typical violence?]

a wordless lineart comic page of the Red Hood: Prometheus version of Bruce Wayne/Batman beating the shit out of Jason Todd/Red Hood

first row of panels, panel one: low view of Jason trying to get away, his helmet broken to show one frightened eye, as Bruce looms over him, yelling, and grabs him by one shoulder

first row, panel two: above view of Jason being flipped over, still terrified and trying to shield himself. all that can be seen of Bruce are his hands, one doing the flipping the other grabbing Jason by the front of his hood.

second row, only panel: Bruce punches Jason, enlarging the hole in his helmet and sending pieces flying. all that are visible of him again are his hands and now the ends of his cape, reaching toward Jason as if to grab him

third row, six panels: a recreation/reference to Joker beating Jason in A Death in the Family, showing Bruce from head-on at slightly different angles and closeness in each, yelling and beating Jason until the last panel, where he looks down in horror and realization, his fist lowering. his hands, particularly the main one he’s using to punch, get bloodier over the course of the panels.

final row, only panel: an above view of a badly beaten Jason, bleeding from the nose, mouth, and one eye, face swollen and bruising, crying and looking blankly through one partially open eye, the front of his helmet having been fully busted open, blood pooling on one side under his head and blood and pieces of his helmet scattered around. the only parts of Bruce visible are one hand letting go of Jason’s hood and the ends of his cape, curling up and out of frame, over the border, as if trying to escape what he’s done.

finally returned to one of the pieces from October I wanted to return to, in this case the Red Hood: Prometheus test page/scene idea feat. Bruce & Jason and a direct reference/callback to A Death in the Family. might do a full color version of it it later? but for now lines and spot colors
