Patterns are available in my shop ~
Well, we stopped at a big used bookstore that weve never been to and found this baby. Only 5$ too which was great.
Gotta get a protective jacket on it before using. They had a copy with a jacket but it was 20$...
Who is ready for another journal Prompt for their shadow work journey?
This prompt is looking into more towards our insecurities and how we can work with them rather than against them.
1. List your current struggle(s) when it comes to loving yourself. This can be any aspect about yourself that holds you back from fully loving yourself unconditionally.
2. What habit(s) do you want to begin this month? I donât know about you but I procrastinate a lot. I tend to lose interest quickly if I donât start making changes now. Many times this is meaning I get started during the middle of the month. In my opinion, it doesnât have to be specifically in the beginning of a new month. Changes happen all the time, regardless of the month. Get started now, donât wait.
3. What are the compliment(s) you struggle to accept about yourself? Why? I personally struggle with compliments when it comes to my appearance. It makes me uncomfortable and I donât fully enjoy them because mainly I didnât believe that it is true. This journal prompt helped me realize that I need to start believing what people are saying to me about my appearance.
4. How can you use your negative qualities and spin them around to bring positivity into your life? This takes quite a long time to master honestly, this process is retraining your brain to reject the self sabotaging and stop to notice the feelings that are negative, acknowledge the emotion and turning it positive. For example instead of saying, âIâm bad at Mathâ say âI make progress everyday with Mathâ, etc.
We are all still a work in progress, by all means take your time and remember to reach out to a licensed professional if you need to. My inbox is open for support if anyone needs help or just needs to talk. I am not a licensed professional.
I hope these bring you all healing and clarity in your Shadow Work Journey.

The sabbats are holidays celebrated throughout the year on solstices, equinoxes, and the midpoints between them. These sabbats form the Wheel of the year.
There is a controversy surrounding the dates of these holidays, as people celebrate them all over the earth, not only in the northen hemisphere but in the southern too.Â
One viewpoint is that the Sabbats should be celebrated as they were originally created to be⌠in other words, Samhain is October 31st, regardless of where you live. In the Southern Hemisphere, even though you are just gearing up to summer on October 31st, this perspective says that you celebrate the cleansing and releasing, the honouring of the dead just as you would if you lived in the Northern Hemisphere. The other viewpoint (the one I personally agree with) is that you should celebrate when you feel like the season corresponds with the holiday, in other words, your craft, your rules. So if you live in the southern hemisphere, you have the choice.
Iâll be writing the dates for each holiday starting with the northen hemisphere and then the dates that many people celebrate them in the southern hemisphere

Use the ones you like, and ignore the ones you donât or donât do it for ya. Thank you! Â
thinking of when vincent van gogh said that âpoverty stops the best minds in their tracksâ and how art would see a new era if we funded struggling independent artists instead of hiring talentless nepotism babies.
When you read a chart, you want to first look at the condition of the planets. Are they domicile, exalted, in fall? Each condition means something different.
Domiciles (rulership) and exaltations are benefic in astrology, which means the planet is in good condition. Detriments and falls are malefic in astrology, which means the planet is in less than ideal condition. Aspects and houses do matter as well, but Iâll write about that another time.Â
A domicile is akin to a King in his castle. Heâs most comfortable here, he rules the castle. An exaltation is slightly less benefic than a domicile, you can think of this as not being the ruler of the castle, but being in a five star hotel. The placement is comfortable and in good condition.Â
A detriment is akin to a King being exiled from his kingdom. He canât get back in, so he has to go somewhere else. Learning and adapting is the only way to evolve placements in detriment. A fall is similar to being in a motel instead of a five star hotel, you can work your way up to going to the five star hotel. Fall placements are easier than detriment placements as theyâre the lesser of the two malefic conditions.Â
Looking at the rulerships in a chart is a great way to figure out if thereâs strong energy in one planet, weak energy in another, energy that could be a little âtoo muchâ or very influential in a chart, or energy that needs to be worked on. For instance, a Saturn in Detriment may have issues with responsibility and need to work on it to have more control over their lives.Â
Sun (luminary)- Domicile Leo, Exaltation Aries, Detriment Aquarius, Fall Libra. Ruled by Apollo.Â
Moon (luminary)- Domicile Cancer, Exaltation Taurus, Detriment Capricorn, Fall Scorpio. Ruled by Artemis.Â
Mercury- Domicile Virgo & Gemini, Exaltation Virgo, Detriment Sagittarius & Pisces, Fall Pisces. Ruled by Hermes.Â
Venus- Domicile Taurus & Libra, Exaltation Pisces, Detriment Scorpio & Aries, Fall Virgo. Ruled by Aphrodite.Â
Mars- Domicile Aries & Scorpio, Exaltation Capricorn, Detriment Libra & Taurus, Fall Cancer. Rules by Ares.Â
Jupiter- Domicile Sagittarius & Pisces, Exaltation Cancer, Detriment Gemini & Virgo, Fall Capricorn. Ruled by Zeus.Â
Saturn- Domicile Capricorn & Aquarius, Exaltation Libra, Detriment Cancer & Leo, Fall Aries. Ruled by Cronus.Â
*Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are not as influential in a chart (and were not used in traditional astrology) unless heavily or harshly aspected, but Iâll talk about that in another post
Uranus- Domicile Aquarius, Exaltation Scorpio, Detriment Leo, Fall Taurus. Ruled by Uranus.Â
Neptune- Domicile Pisces, Exaltation Cancer, Detriment Virgo, Fall Capricorn. Ruled by Posideon.Â
Pluto- Domicile Scorpio, Exaltation Aries, Detriment Taurus, Fall Libra. Ruled by Hades.Â
North Node- Exalted Gemini, Fall Sagittarius
South Node- Exalted Sagittarius, Fall Gemini
