I LOVE how both Luke and Matt listen to Spencer’s ramblings with genuine interest, they’re just like “oh this dude knows a lot of stuff, that’s cool, look at him go” - Let Reid speak!

Knowing and learning things is so genuinely fun and it’s a privilege of life to be able to learn. One of the most unrealistic parts of Criminal Minds is that no one around Reid is interested in learning from what he has to say and I think the writers realised that so they made sure to make their new characters, Luke and Matt, more attentive; I love Luke and Matt so much

i love this line and this scene in general so much. they're trying to figure out what "hour be none" means and reid walks in and gives the answer (with some mostly unnecessary but endearing additional info) and elle responds so affectionately. i really loved their dynamic, however you view it.

Pros:

characters get to swear

grey haired Emily Prentiss

JJ in short sleeves and casual wear

Tara having a girlfriend with Rebecca

Emily and JJ getting high

Elias being both a hateable and entertaining villain

Cons:

is literally dark, like the lack of lighting is noticeable

Tyler Green existing and wasting time trying to be relevant

Rossi losing his wife Krystall and getting another love interest in the form of Gideon's ex wife

Luke being an extra for like half the episodes

the team making reckless and poor decisions when dealing with Elias

Elias overstaying his welcome moreso than Cat and Scratch

Garcia being reduced to a love sick puppy over Tyler and losing her character growth from s1-15

the excessive amounts of grays and brown in everyone's wardrobe

Garcia wearing less colors than in s1-15

the white men taking up most of the screentime, moreso than Hotch and Reid
