I support Maito Gai dress up feminine. It's nice addition to his character to explore. And, yes, I know this is supposed to be "funny" 🙄, but whenever I see this, I like it more and more for Gai. I think he looks good in it actually. Gai is an absolute great character who I feel wouldn't care if others are judging him no matter how he expresses himself.

You Saved Me

Guided by the intel he coerced from a shinobi at the entrance, Kakashi ran through the winding underground hallways of Danzo Shimura's Foundation. He had only one goal in mind– Kinoe. He had to find him quickly before something terrible happened to him.

Rounding a corner, he saw the door he was looking for. It was large, blue, and metal– the type you’d find in a medical building. Inside it, was his goal.

Under a bright medical lamp and strapped down to an exam chair, was Kinoe. His gray padded uniform matched Kakashi’s, and his long brown hair was pinned uncomfortably under his back. He rushed over to check if he was alright. Thankfully, he found that he was indeed breathing.

He was, however, heavily under the influence of a genjutsu. Kakashi intertwined his fingers and formed the sign of the snake. “Release!” He barked and then unshackled the younger teen from his restraints. “Let’s get outta here.”

Kinoe slowly opened his eyes and looked to his savior. He seemed dazed. “Kakashi?” He greeted; his voice cracked with confusion. “What are you? Why are you?” He stammered.

“No time,” answered Kakashi, checking out the exit. “Are you okay?”

“What? No no…I don’t feel great. Danz-” Kinoe’s words caught in his throat. His body wouldn’t move. He couldn’t finish his sentence.

“Kinoe?” Kakashi turned to see his friend looking defeated. He paced over and Kinoe pointed to his tongue. There was a curse mark there, preventing him from speaking. “I’m so sorry,” Kakashi said, gently caressing his cheek. “We’ll figure it out. For now, let’s go.”

The two ran out of that place together. There were a couple of hitches, but ultimately Friend Killer Kakashi managed to save his friend from that awful place. He brought him out of the darkness of The Foundation to the surface where he could feel the light and mentored him as his leader in Team Ro. This wouldn’t be the first or last time he’d save him either. 

On Team Ro, Kinoe used the name, Tenzo. It was a name he'd chosen on a whim, but Kakashi was stubborn and insisted he use it. Over time, the two got close– very close. Kakashi became very acquainted with Tenzo’s behaviors and unfortunately because The Third Hokage, Hiruzen, had been lenient with Danzo, the curse mark on Tenzo’s tongue had never been lifted. 

Kakashi caught Tenzo with his mouth open, prodding it in the bathroom mirror. He could tell he was still self-conscious about it. Instead of commenting on it though, Kakashi walked on by, keeping his nose in his favorite book, “Make Out Paradise”. Tenzo blushed, knowing that he had been seen and closed his mouth quickly. He followed Kakashi down the hall. “Captain?” He called.

“Hm?” Kakashi pivoted on a heel to face his teammate, not lifting his face from his book. It was beginning to get particularly spicy. “What is it, Tenzo?”

“Sorry about that.”

“That?”

“You were going to the restroom, right? I uh…was in the way.”

It was painful to see Tenzo so out of sorts. Kakashi sighed, closing the book, “come with me.”

“Ah, y-yes captain!” Tenzo stuttered. Kakashi brought him to a vacant locker room and locked the door behind them. Tenzo continued further in before turning around. “Uh Kakashi?”

“Let me see it.”

“What?” Tenzo asked. His face was getting redder.

The right eye of his fluffy white-haired captain almost never looked more than half open. Tenzo could never change that fact, even now. Kakashi looked just as unamused as ever. He breathed another slow sigh and clarified, “your tongue. Let me see it.”

“Wh-why would you? What if someone sees?”

“I’ve been doing undercover missions for years. You think I don’t know how to lock a door?”

“Well, no, of course not…”

“Then open up,” Kakashi ordered.

Tenzo did. Kakashi then bent down to take a look. Sure enough, on Tenzo’s squirming tongue was Danzo’s curse mark– five lines with the last two broken to form the shape of an arrow pointing toward the tip. The younger teen was getting redder by the second. “Looks fine to me,” Kakashi concluded nonchalantly.

“W-what!? Captain!” Tenzo protested.

“In fact-” Kakashi grabbed Tenzo’s face and while he was too close to focus on, pulled down his mask to kiss him. Without a moment of thought Kakashi’s tongue was in his mouth, entwining with his. It was all so fast. He was remasked and had his book open again before Tenzo even knew it.

From then on, Tenzo was no longer embarrassed of his curse mark; Kakashi had saved him again. He watched Kakashi walk away from him, and his mind began to wander. What would it feel like to let it touch more of his captain?

Gai: Easy, I've got you! [yamato chuckles as the tortoise crunches on a leaf] Pakkun: Oh! yo, Tenzou Gai: Change of plans Yamato: Senpai?

(Chapter 4)

Kakashi parked his car right in front of Senju Cafe. As he said when he took Tenzo home that time, tonight he came. He came to try the coffee provided at the cafe. He also came because he wanted to know what the inside of Senju Cafe was like, because at that time he didn't have time to go in. But...the number one reason why he came....was...because he want to meet Tenzo.

Today is Saturday, so Tenzo didn't come to his house to work as a nanny. That's why he want to see Tenzo. Kakashi himself felt strange, why he "want to" see Tenzo, and now when he was standing in front of the cafe door, for some reason his feelings were pounding.

"What's wrong with me?" Kakashi shook his head. He then inhaled and exhaled, then pushed open the cafe door.

Ting tong!

The bell hanging at the top of the door rang when Kakashi opened it.

"WELCOME!" Greeted a voice in its usual cheerful tone. That's Tenzo's voice.

"Oh...welcome sir!" Tenzo said surprised

As usual, his shoulder-length brunet hair was left loose and he was still wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a cat (this time turquoise). His wide eyes looked right at Kakashi.

So sweet and cute as usual...Kakashi thought.

"Please sit down sir..." said Tenzo with a smile.

Kakashi realized then nodded. He closed the cafe door then he walked towards the counter where Tenzo was. While walking, Kakashi could inhale the aroma of coffee and hear the strains of 90's ballad songs.

Kakashi sat in the middle seat, right in front of Tenzo.

"How are you, sir?"

"Umm...fine.."

I'm so glad you came here, sir...". Tenzo said it sincerely and innocently, without realizing that his words made Kakashi's face turn red.

"This is the menu, sir. What would you like to order?"

Kakashi cleared his throat to get rid of his awkwardness and accepted the menu Tenzo offered. "Thank you. Umm...I'll just order a hot americano..." answered Kakashi while looking at the menu.

"One hot americano. Alright. Would you like to order some food too, sir?"

"Oh...ummm...I'll order a cheese and smoked beef croisant."

"Okay. Please wait a moment sir, your order is coming soon." Kakashi nodded.

While waiting, Kakashi paid attention to the inside of the cafe. There are 3 tables with 2 chairs facing each other at each table. One table near the door, one table in the corner of the room, and one near the counter. A man and a woman were seen sitting opposite each other at a table near the door, chatting. Meanwhile, at the corner table, an old woman was sitting alone, knitting. At the counter itself there were 3 chairs, and Kakashi sat in the middle chair. Even though it's not spacious, the cafe feels comfortable.

"Thanks for waiting, sir. This is your order..." said Tenzo while placing a cup of hot americano and a plate of warm cheese and smoked beef croisant.

"Oh...thank you. Are you alone? Where's your aunt?"

"Aunt Tsunade is resting upstairs because of a cold, sir..."

"Oh...i see." Kakashi took his coffee cup, inhaled the aroma, then took a sip. "Hummm... really delicious..." he said.

"I'm glad you like it, sir."

"To be honest, I'm curious... when you made coffee for me yesterday, the coffee tasted much better than what I make. Even though I'm sure you made the sachet coffee that I usually make too, right?"

"Really, sir?"

Kakashi nodded. "How can you make it taste better?"

Tenzo smiled "Oh...that's a secret, sir..." he said while blinking one eye. Kakashi became embarrassed.

"We'll go home, Tenzo!" said the male visitor.

"Thank you very much for the coffee!" said the female visitor

"You're welcome, Izumo, Shizune. Please come again..." answered Tenzo while waving his hand.

"See you Grandma Chio!" said Izumo and Shizune while waving at the old woman who was knitting at the corner table. The woman looked up and smiled.

When Izumo and Shizune closed the door, Tenzo asked Kakashi.

"They look like a very lovely couple, don't they sir?" Tenzo said.

"Huh???" Kakashi turned towards the door... "Yeah, I think so..." He wasn't really sure about the answer because he had only glanced at them briefly.

"They first met in this cafe, sir..."

"Did they?"

Tenzo nodded. "It was raining heavily at that time, while Shizune had to immediately return to her office, but she didn't bring an umbrella. Coincidentally Izumo brought an umbrella, and he offered to take Shizune..."

"Oh... I see... what a coincidence..." said Kakashi in response.

"It seems the Cupid was also here at that time, and shot his arrow at them..." Tenzo chukled. "By the way sir, is it okay to leave the kids at home at night?"

"Oh... I was supposed to be at home with them tonight. But suddenly there was a meeting at the office. In the past, when there was no nanny and I had to work late into the night, sometimes I took them to the office. Or if it turned out it wasn't possible to invite them, then I was forced to leave them at home. Actually, on the one hand, I felt guilty. But on the other hand, I felt it could be an opportunity for Sakura to look after her younger siblings."

"I'm sure Sakura can be relied on, sir. She's a good older sister and will definitely look after her younger siblings..." said Tenzo while remembering the incident at school some time ago when Sakura tried to protect Sai. "Does that mean you're working overtime today, sir?"

"Not really... it was just a meeting to announce that our company had succeeded in winning the tender of government headquarter renovation.."

"Excellent! Congratulations, sir. I'm happy to hear that."

"Thank you. And after the announcement, people in the office immediately celebrated it by drinking at their regular bar."

"You're not going with them, sir?"

"Of course not. I'm not young anymore and I don't really like drinking like that. Besides, I don't want to set a bad example for the children. What would happen if they saw me coming home drunk..." said Kakashi.

Tenzo smiled. "You are really a good father, sir."

"Am I?" Kakashi felt his cheeks flush again.

Luckily, suddenly the cell phone in his pocket rang. From Gai. Kakashi signaled to Tenzo that he had to take the call first. Tenzo invited him then went to tidy up the cups and plates on Izumo and Shizune's table.

"What?"

"My friend, I don't see you anywhere in this bar. Where are you hiding"

"Sorry, I didn't go to the bar..."

"What? Why? Don't tell me that you're afraid of getting drunk and revealing all your secrets to us..." came Genma's voice. Looks like Gai turns on the loudspeaker.

"No. I have another thing to do."

"What thing?" Genma asked again.

"It's personal." Kakashi answered briefly.

"Ooooh... could it be that you're dating the new nanny, huh?" Gai asked in a loud voice.

"Don't be inconsequential!" Kakashi said quickly.

"Kakashi...you've always been bad at lying. You must be having a romantic dinner with her, right?" Genma said.

Kakashi just sighed. "Alright, have fun, guys..." Kakashi was about to end the conversation.

"Wait! Wait! It's okay if you can not go to this bar tonight. But I think you should join the tomorrow night event..." said Gai.

"Tomorrow night event?"

"To celebrate our success, Anko suggested that there be a party at the office tomorrow night."

"A party?"

"More precisely, a couple dance party..."

"Couple dance party? What for?"

"According to Anko, apart from celebrating our success in winning a big tender, the party will allow all employees to get to know each other better. I know, that sounds ridiculous, but the director, her father of course, agreed to it. And obliged everyone to come . Especially you.."

"Me?"

"Yes, you. Well actually Kakashi, Gai and I felt that Anko had a special purpose when proposing this dance party. And it must be related to you..." said Genma.

Kakashi sighed. "I am not interested of that party or the things you mentioned earlier at all..."

"Yeah...we know it, buddy. But it would feel strange if everyone came and you didn't. After all, you're the leader on this project..." Genma said again.

"You're still lucky, Kakashi... because it won't be difficult for you to find a partner for tomorrow's dance party. Meanwhile, us? I'm not sure anyone will want to partner with us." Gai said.

Kakashi didn't say anything.

"Okay buddy, we will take another drink. Have a nice date there..." Gai said again in a teasing tone.

Kakashi put his cellphone on the table. Take another breath. Honestly, he wasn't at all interested in coming to the dance party tomorrow. There is nothing wrong with celebrating the success of winning a tender. After all, it is obtained through serious struggle and preparation. He himself even lacked sleep to prepare it. Kakashi was confused about how to explain it to Tenzo, so he answered briefly "I can't dance..."

Tenzo gaped.

"What?" Kakashi asked.

"You won't come there tomorrow just because you can't dance?"

"Umm...yes..." Kakashi answered hesitantly.

Tenzo sighed. "Alright then, I will teach you, sir." Tenzo said with his hands on his hips.

"Wait...you don't need to..."

Tenzo tapped the tablet screen next to the cash register, selecting a song. Then walked out of the counter, heading towards Kakashi. The intro music from the song "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston was heard.

"Tenzo...i can't dance..."

"That's why I'm gonna teach you, sir."

"But...."

"Come on!" Tenzo grabbed Kakashi's right hand and took him to the middle of the room. They stand facing each other. Tenzo put Kakashi's right hand behind his left waist, then put his left hand on Kakashi's right shoulder. Then he raised Kakashi's left hand and held it.

"Just follow my steps, sir..." Tenzo whispered near Kakashi's ear. Kakashi felt that now his face was completely red.

Kakashi repeatedly made the wrong move and stepped on Tenzo's foot.

"Sorry..." said Kakashi. He stopped walking.

"It's alright, sir. You can do it. Just relax and feel the music..." said Tenzo smiling.

In such that close position with Tenzo, Kakashi didn't know how he could relax. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Ready, sir?" Tenzo asked. Kakashi nodded. And they started walking again.

Even though he tried to relax, sometimes Kakashi still had difficulty adjusting his steps.

Tenzo removed his left hand from Kakashi's shoulder, then by lifting his right hand which was still holding Kakashi's left hand, Tenzo spun beautifully. Then he grabbed Kakashi's shoulder again.

"You did it, sir!" Tenzo said happily.

Kakashi looked at Tenzo, his right hand was still holding Tenzo's waist, and his left hand was still holding Tenzo's right hand, time seemed to stop, and that's when his heart said... I have nothing... if I don't have you...

"Umm...Sir..." said Tenzo

"Huh???" Kakashi realized.

"You can let go of me now..."

"Oh, sorry..."

The two of them were a bit awkward...

Thankfully the awkward atmosphere was then broken up by Grandma Chio.

"Tenzo dear... I'll go home..." said Grandma Chio.

"Oh...alright, granma chio. It's always nice to have you here. Please come back again..."

"I will. And this is for you, dear..." Grandma Chio put a knitted scarf around Tenzo's neck.

"Oh...grandma chio...this is so beautiful...thank you so much..."

"You're welcome, dear. This really suits you. You are so beautiful too..." said Grandma Chio, smiling and touching Tenzo's cheek. She then turned to Kakashi. "I can see that you are a good guy." She said while patting Kakashi's shoulder. "Please take care of Tenzo..." she added while whispering near Kakashi's ear and making Kakashi's face blush again...

"Alright, I'm gonna go home now..." Grandma Chio walked towards the door then turned to face Kakashi and Tenzo and said "I think...the Cupid has released his arrow again in this cafe..." then Grandma Chio opened the door and left the cafe.

Kakashi and Tenzo were silent and the atmosphere became awkward again.

"Umm...I think the kids are waiting for me at home...so...I have to go home too..." said Kakashi while scratching the back of his head.

"Oh...you right sir...they must be...waiting for you..." said Tenzo.

Kakashi paid for his coffee and croisant.

"Umm...thank you so much for the coffee and the croisant...and also...for the dance lesson..." said kakashi.

"You're very welcome, sir. Thanks for your coming to night.."

Kakashi nodded. "Umm...see you..."

Tenzo smiled. Kakashi then turned and walked towards the door.

The next morning, while cleaning the cafe with his aunt, Tenzo's cell phone rang, it was Kakashi.

"Good morning sir.."

"Morning tenzo. Umm...I'm sorry for calling you this morning. Can you help me?"

"Sure. What can I do for you, sir?"

"Umm...I think I will come to the party tonight."

"That's great, sir"

"And that's why I want to know...if you can help me to accompany my kids tonight?"

"Ummm..." Tenzo looked at his aunt. From behind the counter, Tsunade, who was counting money at the cash register, seemed to know what Tenzo meant, then she smiled and nodded. "Alright sir, I will come to your house tonight..." replied Tenzo.

"Great! I'm really sorry for bothering you..."

"No problem, sir."

That evening, Kakashi came downstairs dressed neatly.

"Wow dad...you look so handsome tonight!" Sakura said.

"Just tonight? Don't I usually look handsome?"

Sakura laughed "Of course you always look handsome. But tonight you look a million more..".

Kakashi laughed and rubbed Sakura's head. "Thanks, darling."

"Honestly, I don't like that couple dance party..." said Sakura.

"Why?"

"Because there is no one in your office who is suitable to be your dance partner. I don't like all the female employees in your office. I can see that they have hidden intentions when they see or talk to you. Moreover, that woman with black hair tied into a ponytail above..."

"You mean...Anko?"

"Yes, she is. She looks cunning. You have to be careful with her."

Kakashi laughed. "I will be careful. Thanks for your suggestion, sakura."

Ting tong! The doorbell rang.

"That must be Tenzo..." said Sakura. He immediately rushed to open the door excitedly. "Tenzooo!" Sakura said immediately hugging Tenzo.

"Good evening, Sakura." Tenzo said while hugging Sakura.

"Come in!" Sakura took Tenzo inside.

"Good evening, sir." Tenzo said

"Evening, Tenzo. I'll go now. I'll leave the kids with you."

"You can count on me, sir."

And Kakashi left.

An hour and a half passed.

Tenzo closed Naruto's room, after reading five story books and he fell asleep before the fifth book was finished. It looks like Sakura and Sai have also fallen asleep in their rooms.

Tenzo came downstair. When he was about to sit on the sofa, he heard the sound of Kakashi's car. Tenzo looked at the clock. "He came back so quickly?" he thought.

Kakashi opened the door.

"Welcome home, sir. Umm...I thought you would be home late. Is the party over, sir?:

"Not yet. But my business there are finished. So I'm going home."

"Oh...and how about the couple dance, sir?"

"I didn't dance there.."

"Why, sir?

"Because...How can I dance there...if my dance partner...is here?"

Tenzo looked clueless.

Kakashi took off his jacket and draped it on the sofa. Then he took out his cellphone and played Whitney Houston's song, I have nothing. Then put it on the table. The intro of the song was heard and Kakashi approached Tenzo.

"Shall we dance?" Kakashi said while extending his right hand.

Tenzo was surprised, then smiled, and accepted Kakashi's outstretched hand. And they danced.

Faintly hearing music playing, Sakura woke up, then opened her room door He saw Sai squatting near the stairs looking down.

"Sai? What are you doing?"

Sai motioned to Sakura to lower her voice, then pointed downstairs. Sakura walked over to sai and crouched down next to him, then looked down at the floor. And she was surprised...

"So beautiful..." Sakura said in awe. "Feels like it's been a long time I haven't seen dad so happy like that...". Sai smiled and nodded in agreement.

Kakashi and Tenzo continued dancing. Until when the song ends and Tenzo finishes spinning beautifully...

Right in the lyrics 'I have nothing, nothing, nothing....if I don't have youuu....' Kakashi grabbed Tenzo. His left hand wrapped around Tenzo's waist and his right hand touched tenzo's cheek. He then whispered in Tenzo's ear "I will have nothing, if I don't have you...tenzo..."

Tenzo was surprised to hear Kakashi's whisper. A second later, a warm and comfortable feeling filled his heart. "Me too, sir..." Tenzo answered softly.

Kakashi's eyes meet Tenzo. Their faces inch closer....and closer...until they can feel each other's breath...

Suddenly...

"Aww...I can't see anything!!!" Naruto's voice of protest was heard.

"Shut up! Don't make any noise!" Sakura said.

"Sakura, you not only close his eyes, but also his nose...Naruto won't be able to breathe..." Sai said flatly.

Kakashi and Tenzo both looked upstairs...

"Guys???" Kakashi said surprised.

"You haven't slept yet?" Tenzo asked, no less surprised.

Sakura, Sai, and Naruto looked downstairs..

"Umm...sorry dad...we don't want to interrupt you two..." Sakura said cautiously. "I just want to go to the bathroom..." he added.

Kakashi turned to Tenzo. Tenzo smiled while nodding. So that night the five of them slept together in Kakashi's room. Naruto slept in the middle between Sai and Sakura. Meanwhile Kakashi was next to Sai and Tenzo was next to Sakura. Thankfully the mattress was big enough to accommodate the five of them who were now fast asleep hugging each other.

(Chapter 3)

Ting...tong!

The sound of the doorbell succeeded in waking Kakashi from his sleep, while the sound of the alarm clock beside his bed failed. Why? Because only Tenzo rings the doorbell this early, and that means.... it's 7 o'clock!!!!

"7 o'clock?! Oh nooooo...I'm late..." Kakashi covered his face with both hands.

He then forced himself to get up and immediately went downstairs to open the door.

"Morning, sir!" Tenzo's greeting was cheerful and enthusiastic as usual.

"Morning, Tenzo...please...come in...and...do your work..." Kakashi was still trying to gather his consciousness. "I'm already late...so...just start to do your work..." kakashi turned around and rushed upstairs to get ready.

Tenzo blinked for a moment to digest the situation. Usually when he arrived, Kakashi was already dressed neatly and ready to go to the office, but now he was still wearing his pajamas.

"No problem, sir..." said Tenzo as he entered and closed the front door, then walked towards the kitchen.

This is all because last night Kakashi had to work overtime preparing materials for today's meeting. Today there will be a big meeting of all divisions to discuss government building renovation projects. Konoha Corp will compete with several other development companies to win the tender for who will renovate the building. This project will bring big profits to the company that wins the tender, so Konoha Corp doesn't want to fail.

Kakashi showered and got dressed as quickly as he could. Then put the laptop and all the required documents into the bag, and ran down the stairs. When he open the front door...

"Excuse me, sir..." said Tenzo.

Kakashi turned his head "yes?"

"I made this for you, just in case you didn't have time for breakfast, sir.." Tenzo held out both hands. His right hand holds a bento box and his left hand holds a thermos filled with hot coffee.

"Oh... thank you... I appreciate that, but actually you don't have to..." Kakashi was surprised.

"No problem, sir... I also make the same bento for the kids..." Tenzo smiled. "Umm...I'm sorry sir, but I think your tie needs to be straightened..."

"Oh?" Kakashi tried to look at his tie which turned out to be crooked, probably because he had been in a hurry, but his hands were full.

"May I, sir?" Tenzo asked, offering to help.

"Oh...yes please..." answered Kakashi.

Tenzo then came closer and straightened Kakashi's tie and shirt collar.

"Well, it's better now, sir. And good luck for today!" Tenzo clenched his right fist while smiling.

"Oh...thank you... Well...I have to go now...so...see you..." kakashi opened the door, got out, and closed it. He took a breath and exhaled. A feeling of comfort emerged in his heart. He then walked towards his car feeling much calmer, doesn't know where the feeling of panic and rush gone.

45 minutes later Tenzo, Sakura, Sai and Naruto were already on the front terrace.

"Hurry uuuuup Narutooooo!!! We're all going to be late just because you took too long to tie your shoes!!!" Sakura said while smacking Naruto's head.

"...I'm trying..."

"It's okay Sakura, we still have time. You can do it, Naruto!" Tenzo said.

Five minutes later Naruto finished tying his shoes and they all rushed to school. As soon as the car driven by Tenzo arrived at the school parking lot, Sakura immediately got out and ran to her class, as did Sai.

"Wait Sai! You left your sketchbook..." Tenzo got out of the car and handed the sketchbook to Sai. "Have a nice day, sai!" Tenzo said with a smile. Sai just accepted his sketchbook then turned towards class without saying anything and without expression.

After that, Tenzo returned to the car and helped Naruto unfasten his seat belt.

"Naruto..."

"Hmm?"

"Before you get out of the car, I want to play with you for a while..." said Tenzo.

"Play???" Naruto was surprised.

"Yes. A role play."

"A role play???" Naruto looked confused.

"Listen, when next time your friends make fun of you again, say this sentence that I will teach you. If they call you an 'orphan', just tell them 'No problem. I'm okay with that' and give them your best smile, then leave them. You got that?"

"Okay! See you, tenzooo!" Naruto ran towards his class feeling happy and full of enthusiasm.

Tenzo looked at Naruto with a smile, then got into the car. He deliberately didn't wait on the bench in the yard like yesterday to teach Naruto to be brave.

Meanwhile...

Kakashi arrived in his room. He put down the documents, bag, as well as the bento box and thermos from Tenzo. He sat down and looked at his watch. There are still 10 minutes before the meeting starts. Kakashi decided to open the thermos. As soon as it was opened, the fragrant aroma of coffee immediately came out and blended with the air around Kakashi. Kakashi poured the coffee into the thermos lid and took a sip.

"Really delicious..." Kakashi thought as he closed his eyes, enjoying his coffee. The coffee that Tenzo makes is definitely the same sachet coffee that Kakashi makes every day. But why does this one taste so much better? Kakashi wondered to himself. He felt much fresher now.

To be honest, he felt a bit awkward when Tenzo approached him and fixed his tie. But...it feels like there is another feeling too. He felt....happy, but also strange... because it felt like it had been a long time since he felt like that... He himself didn't know why that feeling came up again...

Kakashi then finished the coffee he had poured them losed the thermos of coffee again. Now his attention was focused on the bento box. Actually, Kakashi was curious to open it, but the meeting would start soon. He had to immediately go to the meeting room. So he decided to open and eat his bento during his lunch break. He took the laptop and the required documents. Then walk out of the room in a good mood and full of enthusiasm.

Two hours later...

Naruto's school bell rang. A sign that it's time for Naruto and his friends to go home. As usual, other parents had also arrived at the yard to pick up their children. And as usual, Naruto's friends made fun of him....again.

"See you tomorrow, poor orphan...hahahaha..." exclaimed one of them, which was followed by laughter from the others. Naruto stopped walking. His hands gripped tightly. He took a deep breath, then exhaled, and turned around to face the friends who had mocked him earlier.

"No problem. I am okay with being an orphan. See you tomorrow!" Naruto said while smiling and turning around and walking again cheerfully. His friends stared. They didn't expect Naruto would say that.

Tenzo waited next the car. Naruto saw him then ran and immediately hugged Tenzo. Tenzo hugged Naruto and spun him around, until Naruto laughed.

After he was satisfied spinning and laughing, Tenzo put Naruto down.

"How about we go to the ice cream shop now? I still owe you because I lost the room tidying competition yesterday..." asked Tenzo.

"Let's goooooo!!!!" replied Naruto

Back to Konoha Corp headquarter.

The meeting was temporarily stopped because it was already lunch time. Meeting participants leave the room to take a break. Including Kakashi. He walked towards the elevator to return to his room. Suddenly someone took his right arm...

"Kakashi, how about we have lunch together?"

"Oh... Anko..." Kakashi was surprised. "I am sorry, but I will have lunch in my room, because I brought a bento..." said Kakashi.

"Be...bento? Since when do you bring bento to the office???"

Kakashi just smiled and got into the elevator.

Not long after, Kakashi was sitting in front of his desk. Then opened the bento box from Tenzo. Kakashi was surprised. Inside there is rice molded into a heart, tamago, chicken katsu, and fresh salad.

"Holly...molly....what am I seeing now?" Said Genma who was standing in the doorway.

"Kakashi and bento??? That's a strangest thing I saw today..." said gai next to him.

"What's wrong? Am I not allowed to eat bento?" Kakashi asked.

"Of course no..." Gai said as he walked in. "But the last time I saw you and bento was when we were still in the same class in Kindergaten..." he said, laughing.

"Yeah...me too. We three were in the same class, right?" Add genma. "Hey...look at the rice...very cute heart rice...I don't know that you are so cute, kakashi..."

"I didn't make it. The nanny did..." Kakashi said casually.

"Wait...what? The new nanny made that bento for you???" Gai asked. Kakashi nodded.

Kakashi was just about to respond to his two mischievous friends when suddenly another voice came from the door.

"What love?" Apparently it's Anko, again. He entered Kakashi's room holding a bento box too. "Can I eat here with you, kakashi?"

Anko sat opposite Kakashi. "You two? What are you doing here?" Anko asked Genma and Gai.

"Oh...um...we're going to have lunch too..." Genma answered, elbowing Gai.

"Eh...yeah, that's right...so we'll go first..." Gai answered as he left the room with Genma.

"I think those two always act strangely. Isn't that right?" Anko asked.

Kakashi just chuckled as he started eating his bento. He picked up the tamago with chopsticks and put it in his mouth, then chewed it. Delicious... thought Kakashi. Then he tried the chicken katsu. This is also delicious....very delicious....he thought.

"....Kakashi!" Called Anko in a slightly loud tone.

Kakashi realized "Oh...what's wrong?"

"You didn't listen to me, did you?"

"Oh... sorry Anko... just... what did you say?"

"Because I heard you brought a bento, I wanted to have a bento lunch too. So I bought it at the minimarket near the office. It tastes pretty good..." said Anko while chewing her ebi katsu. "Where did you buy that bento?"

"Oh, I didn't buy it..."

"You cook yourself????"

"Of course not... This morning my children's nanny made this bento and gave it to me, because this morning I didn't have time for breakfast..."

"Oh I see. Is it delicious?

"This is...special" answered Kakashi steadily.

Sai was shocked "Don't....." he said helplessly.

Suddenly Kabuto was pushed by someone and fell.

"Don't do that to my brother!" Sakura shouted angrily.

"Youuu!!!" Kabuto said annoyed, then gave a code to his two friends. His two friends pushed the sai until he fell, then approached Sakura and grabbed her hands.

"What do you want?!!" Sakura struggled, trying to get rid of the grip.

"You noisy big forehead! Acting like a hero! How dare you push me!" Kabuto raised his right hand to slap Sakura. Suddenly a hand grabbed Kabuto's right hand, very strong. Kabuto turned his head.

"Years of studying at an expensive school just for this? How embarrassing..." said Tenzo.

"Who are you? Let go of my hand! Don't interfere!" Kabuto shouted annoyed.

"You don't need to know who I am. What you and your two friends need to know is that what you did to Sai and Sakura was a bad thing. So now, quickly kneel down and apologize to Sai and Sakura, return Sai's sketchbook, and promise them that you guys won't do it again. Oh, one more thing, you also have to buy Sai a new sketchbook because you stepped on it earlier..." said Tenzo.

"Now return Sai's sketch book!"

Kabuto got up, then took Sai's sketchbook, and gave it to Sai.

"Good job. By the way, I have recorded your behavior earlier, so if you repeat your actions again, then I will give the recording to the principal or spread it to social media. And you will become famous and expelled from school. Do I make myself clear?" Tenzo said casually.

Kabuto and his two friends nodded in resignation.

"Good. Sakura, sai, let's go home. Naruto is waiting for us in the car." said Tenzo smiling. Meanwhile Sakura and Sai were still gawking, not believing that Tenzo could easily paralyze Kabuto and his friends.

When they got home, Tenzo compressed Sai's arm which was bruised from the grip of Kabuto's friends.

"Does it still hurt?" Tenzo asked. Sai shook his head.

"Okay. Wait here a second. I'll make you something..." Tenzo stood up and walked out of Sai's room. Not long after, Tenzo came carrying a mug.

"I make a hot chocolate. It will make you so much better. Try it." Tenzo said while thrusting the mug towards Sai. Sai accepted it and hesitantly drank it.

"How is it? Good?" Tenzo asked.

Sai nodded. "Thanks..." he said.

Tenzo smiled.

"I mean...thanks a lot...for...saving me...and sakura..."

"No problem..." answered Tenzo. "So, may I know, since when do you like drawing, Sai? Tenzo asked while looking at Sai's drawings that were stuck on the wall of his room.

"Since I could hold a pencil..." Sai answered.

"Really? Amazing! I've always been the weakest in drawing lessons. In fact, every time I see my drawings, my sister always says, 'Even kindergarten kids can draw better than you, Tenzo.'" said Tenzo, shaking his head and putting his hands on his hips, imitating his sister's style.

Sai laughed looking at Tenzo. Meanwhile, Tenzo just stared.

Sakura looked at herself in the mirror. She has always covered her forehead with bangs. But the ribbon that Tenzo tied and the bangs that Tenzo tidied made Sakura look more beautiful.

"You don't have to hide that, sakura. No matter what they say, you are definitely beautiful. Because beauty doesn't come from physics. It comes from your heart. Physics will easily change. But your kind and brave heart will last forever, and that is the true beauty..." said Tenzo.

Sakura immediately sat next to Tenzo.

"Do you want to listen to the story too, Sai..." asked Tenzo. Sai also appeared with a reluctant expression.

"Come in..." said Tenzo. Sai came in and sat on Naruto's bed.

At 9 pm Kakashi arrived home. When he entered, there was no one downstairs. Kakashi put his bag and things on the sofa and went up to the second floor. He saw Sakura and Sai's room door open, but they were not in their room. Kakashi then went to Naruto's room where the door was half closed. He opened the door slowly and was surprised...

Tenzo sat leaning back in the middle of the bed, holding and hugging Naruto who was already asleep, while Sakura fell asleep on Tenzo's right side with her head resting on his shoulder, as did Sai on his left. The five story books that Tenzo had read were lying on the bed. Kakashi was truly surprised to see it, and touched at the same time. His kids had never been so close to nannies before.

Tenzo, who was half asleep, realized that someone had entered the room, and was surprised because it turned out to be Kakashi. Spontaneously he opened his eyes wide. Kakashi moved closer to the bed.

"It's okay. I will remove them..." said Kakashi. He then carried Sakura and moved her to her bed. Then carried Sai and moved him to his bed. Then turned on the light in their room and closed the door. When he returned to Naruto's room, he saw Tenzo laying Naruto on his bed and covering him with a blanket. Kakashi approached and turned off the lamp next to Naruto's bed. The two of them then left the room and went downstairs.

"Can I go home now, sir?"

"Sure you may. But I will take you home..."

"Oh...you don't need to do that, sir. I can go home by myself..."

"No, it's okay. I'll take you. This is also an apology for making you come home so late and a thank you for taking care of my kids... Please, let me drive you home..." said Kakashi.

While driving his car home, Kakashi thought. Even though at first he doubted Tenzo's abilities, now he feels that Tenzo's presence in his family brings many good things and warmth.

So far, the three children have never gotten along with the nannys. But tenzo is different. In a short time his three children became very close to him. The scene where Tenzo fell asleep while hugging Naruto, and Sakura and Sai who slept leaning against him was truly very impressive and touched Kakashi's heart.

Moreover, Tenzo is good at cooking, reliable, humble, and always cheerful. And honestly, he is quite pretty. His wide eyes, his beautiful brunet long hair, his smile, his smell, his voice,...

Kriiiiing!

Kakashi hated that sound. The sound of the alarm clock beside his bed. It's not the alarm's fault. The alarm had carried out its task according to its orders, waking Kakashi at 6 o'clock.

But Kakashi was still reluctant to wake up. He still felt tired and sleepy, because just like the previous days, he had difficulty sleeping at night. Sakura and Sai were surprised, partly because they weren't used to seeing Tenzo in the kitchen that morning, and partly because at the dining table there were 3 plates of sandwiches and 3 glasses of orange juice. Usually they only see toast and milk.

"Enjoy your breakfast." Tenzo said smiling. "In a moment, I'll finish making your lunch and then I'll take you to school.

Sakura and Sai looked at each other. Then they sat down and took sandwiches on their plates.

Sakura looked at the sandwich in her hand, took a bite, then chewed slowly. She then felt something on her tongue. "That's really great..." she said...in her heart...she didn't want his praise to be heard by Tenzo who was busy preparing lunch.

Meanwhile Sai was holding a sandwich while watching Sakura next to him. Sai became curious. He then started eating his sandwich. He stopped for a moment after taking the first bite, because he also felt that the sandwich was very delicious. But sai is not as expressive as sakura even though it is only in the heart. The fact that he continues to eat his sandwich until it's finished is a sign that he likes it.

Tenzo finished preparing his lunch, then looked at Sakura and Sai. They were both finishing their orange juice. Then Tenzo realized, Naruto hadn't come down yet.

"Umm...where is Naruto?" Tenzo asked.

"That lazy boy must be still in his bed..." Sakura answered nonchalantly.

Tenzo went up and headed for the only room whose door was still closed. That must be Naruto's room, thought Tenzo. He knocked on the door. When there was no answer, he opened it slowly. Naruto's room was a mess. Toys and clothes were scattered here and there. Naruto himself was still asleep under his blanket. Tenzo approached and sat next to Naruto.

Tenzo sat next to Naruto and touched him gently. "Naruto...come on, wake up..."

"I don't want to go to school..." Naruto answered while still closing his eyes.

After a while, tenzo said "How about I keep my promise? Treat you ice cream?" Naruto nodded in his arms. Tenzo got up, carrying Naruto, then walked to a new ice cream shop not far from there.

"Thank goodness...." Tenzo said.

When the ice cream was finished, Naruto raised both of his hands while exclaiming "It's really goooood!"

Tenzo smiled, then asked Naruto. "Umm...naruto, can I ask you something?"

Naruto nodded his head happily.

"Those kids...are they your friends?"

The happy expression on Naruto's face immediately disappeared. He lowered his hands, lowered his head, fell silent, then nodded slowly...

"Do they always do that to you?"

Naruto nodded.

"Is that what makes you not want to go to school?"

Naruto nodded again.

"How did you feel when they did like that?"

(Chapter 1)

This morning is just like any other previous mornings.

Kakashi poured hot water into a cup containing instant coffee, then stirred it with a spoon in his right hand, while his left hand was busy fiddling with his smartphone.

A few minutes later there was a "cling" sound from the toaster, indicating that the two toasts were ready to be eaten. Kakashi immediately took it and placed it on a plate, along with two other breads that had been toasted earlier. In total there were 4 loaves of bread, one for him and three more for his three children who were still sleeping in their rooms.

With his left hand still busy playing with his smartphone, his right hand opened the refrigerator door and took a bottle of milk, placed it on the table, opened the lid and poured the contents into three glass glasses, then returned them back to the refrigerator.

Kakashi then sat in a chair, sipping his coffee while checking his social media, skimming the news, then checking his schedule for today. There is nothing different from other days, except maybe the first schedule this morning before leaving to take the children and go to the office, that is meeting the new prospective nanny.

Since Rin just left two years ago, Kakashi has had difficulty handling everything, so he decided to hire a nanny to take care of his three children, at least this could reduce his burden besides having to work to earn money. However, finding a nanny was not as easy as he thought. He had received five people, but none of them lasted long. "Good morning, sir! I'm Tenzo, who sent you an email yesterday and intends to apply to be a nanny." Tenzo answered in an enthusiastic tone while bowing.

For a few moments Kakashi was silent, trying to digest his guest's words.

"Umm...sorry...I thought you are a male...."

"I am sir..." answered Tenzo with a smile. This is the first time Kakashi saw a man who was very beautiful and really looked like a real woman. "Umm...is there a problem, sir?" Tenzo asked.

"Oh...no...no problem. I'm kakashi. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Kakashi," said Tenzo as he bowed again.

"Please come in..." said Kakashi.

Tenzo enters. Kakashi closed the door then walked towards the sofa. "Please sit down..." he said as he sat down. Tenzo sat across from Kakashi.

"I have read your biodata. And I accept you to work as a nanny here. Your main task is to look after my three children. Starting from preparing breakfast, lunch, taking them to school, picking them up, accompanying them to study, and making dinner for them. Your working hours start from 7 am when I go to the office until 7 pm after I go home. You work from Monday to Friday. Kakashi was the first to come down while carrying a boy with yellow hair, behind him a girl with shoulder length pink hair who was still rubbing her eyes and yawning, then behind her was a boy with black hair and pale skin.

"Okay kids. This is Tenzo who will help dad look after you. Now introduce yourselves, please.."

"So... this flat breasted aunt will be the new nanny..." Sakura said without hesitation while yawning again.

Tenzo was shocked, as was Kakashi, and the atmosphere became awkward for a moment.

"Sakura! Watch your words!" Kakashi scolded.

Kakashi cleared his throat. "This is my second child. Come on, introduce yourself..." said Kakashi while holding Sai's head.

"I'm Sai." The pale boy's answer was short and expressionless.

"Hello Sai. Nice to meet you..." said Tenzo with a smile.

"I don't." Sai said flatly.

"Sai!" Kakashi scolded.

"It's okay. You're also very honest, sai." Tenzo said. "How old are you, Sai?" Tenzo asked kindly.

"Ten." Answer briefly.

"Dad...I'm still sleepy..." said the boy in Kakashi's arms while rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"And this is my third child. His name is Naruto. Well, Naruto, say hello, please.." Kakashi said while stroking Naruto's hair.

"I don't want to. I want to sleep again..." Naruto answered.

"Hey champ! Nice to meet you. How old are you?" Tenzo said.

"I don't know..." Naruto answered casually while burying his head in Kakashi's shoulder.

"Naruto..." said Kakashi. "He's 6 years old..." said Kakashi to which Tenzo answered with a smile.

"Okay. Let's get ready for school..." answered Kakashi.

"I don't want to go to school...don't want to...don't want to..." said Naruto whining.

"No way. You have to go to school. OK Tenzo, I think that's enough introduction. You can start working tomorrow."

"Yes sir! You can count on me." Tenzo answered with an enthusiastic smile.

Well...that was their first meeting. Kakashi's (and his three children's) first meeting with Tenzo. Also tenzo's first meeting with them....as a nanny.

We never know which direction fate will take our lives.

Even though they initially met as strangers, who knows, maybe later they would become close...even very very close...as close as a sweet couple or as close as a family...a warm family.

But as the universe dictates, sweet-close-warm relationships will not just form easily without challenges and tests. Right?
