How I feel researching instead of writing already

Okay so like. I've been microwaving this concept of Kai never having been sick before? (hc warning) Because he's the master of fire so his internal temperature is higher than a normal person's. So, I was thinking, *would* he ever get sick? What would that even mean for him?

And uh, my idea is that for the master of fire...being sick is like, the opposite of a fever. Where they would become colder instead of hotter. I haven't done any research on the effects of a colder internal temperature but! I imagine for a mof, that shit sucks XD.

(hc warning) Kai being the cringemaster he is would either completely hate being sick because he's not used to relying on others (ya know, his trauma past with the parents being out of the picture) OR he would love being sick because of all the attention he'd get.

The simulation my microwave has been producing as of late is him being this version of sick due to the connection with his elemental power. My current reasoning is that the volcano where the fire temple is has frozen over XD crazy. The microwave is crazy.

Ninjago Headcanons: Nicknames

Jay

-he has a Lot

-most of the time the team calls him Sparky

-Kai calls him Zaptrap constantly

-the others call him Bluebird but Cole and only Cole is allowed to call him Jaybird

-Jay refused to talk to Kai for a solid day before Kai apologized for calling him Jaybird

-it’s what his mom used to call him, “my little Jaybird”

-Lloyd called him Bluebell once and Nya only addressed him as such for about two weeks

-because he got bullied a lot, it took him a while to warm up to the names

-if he lets you use a nickname, he trusts you, and Do Not Break That Trust

-he only lets Cole call him Jaybird because Nadakhan found out about the nickname and used it against him to try and break him

-it took a long time for Jay to trust anyone after that, but he’s slowly getting better

Kai

-Nya has called him Spiky since she was little

-he acts Too Cool™️ for nicknames but secretly loves them

-not really that secretly everyone knows

-literally everyone calls him Hothead at times (it’s even his username for most social media)

-Cole called him Airhead once and it just kinda…..stuck

-Jay teasingly called him the Red Shogun once but Kai Shut That Down Real Quick

-he doesn’t like being reminded of that time it hurts too much to remember

-other than Hothead/Airhead/any other fire-themed pun he doesnt have very many

-Lloyd calls him Bro a lot too

Cole

-he’s not much of a nickname fan but still has a few

-Kai and Jay call him The Rock and Cole will inevitably strike a pose every time they say that

-Jay calls him Dirtclod (like in s4), now with 36x times the amount of affection

-Jay still uses it when he’s annoyed though, so usually the meaning depends on the context

-Jay also calls him Rocky Boy, Cole thinks its adorable

Zane

-doesn’t really get the concept

-the others still give him nicknames though

-Frosty and Tincan are the two most popular

-Lloyd calls Zane Pinky a lot, because it reminds them both of a simpler time where the only thing they had to worry about was a snake army and Lloyd’s pranks

-the newest one for Zane is Elsa (they all watched frozen and made zane reenact let It Go

-Jay and Nya came up with Zaneinator 3000 and Zane refused to answer to any other name for a week straight

Nya

-prefers giving nicknames to having them but still appreciates them

-when she dated Jay he called her Waterlily (thanks for the idea @clumsinessinperson !!)

-after they mutually broke up she let him still call her it sometimes but only when it was just the two of them

-Lloyd calls her Sis sometimes, like he calls Kai Bro

-but other than those Nya doesn’t really like nicknames

Lloyd

-the amount of nicknames he has is slightly insane

-Kid, Buddy, and Green Bean are at the top of the list

-all originally given to him by Kai

-once he aged up Jay started calling him Blondie

-Cole teases him by calling him Energizer Bunny, Nya calls him Little Bro

-they switch around the nicknames constantly and Lloyd never knows what they’ll call him next

-like Jay, he was bullied a lot so it took him a while to warm up to the ‘friendly nicknames’ concept
