Yandere!Leonardo who is tired of watching you. He’s itching to talk to you. To have your eyes finally recognize the shadow that follows after you. For that attention you give so freely to be his. No one else should matter, you’re his whole world. It’s only fair if he becomes yours in return.

Yandere!Leonardo who seamlessly enters your life like it wasn’t pre-meditated. Like he hadn’t planned every minute detail. He was meticulous when it came to you. Think of him as your knight in shining armor. Come to him with all your troubles.

Yandere!Leonardo who fixes all of those issues that you have. Your neighbors in the apartment aren’t as loud anymore, actually you haven’t heard them fighting for a couple nights now. They must’ve made up or maybe even broke up! Either way it didn’t matter to you, finally you could get a good nights rest.

Yandere!Leonardo who starts draping himself over you. You guys are friends now. Friends touch! It takes some getting used to, but don’t worry it’ll be second nature soon. Don’t think too much about it. His frame leaning into yours, his arms going over your shoulders. He’s tired, he stayed up too late again. Won’t you let him rest against you for a little while? He’ll even close his eyes.

Yandere!Leonardo who thought he had taken care of all your little love interests. But he portals over unannounced only to hear you gushing about this new guy, someone from your finance class. He creeps closer to your bedroom door, it’s cracked open, just a sliver. He peers through to see you bouncing around, jumping on your bed to kick your feet out happily.

Yandere!Leonardo whose eyes grow cold as the phone call hangs up. Words of encouragement were given to you. To finally go after a crush since the last couple had gone so horribly. He thinks this kind of puppy love isn’t good for you. Why can’t you just catch on already? Does he have to spell it out for you?

The door creaks open.

You lurch up, smile disappearing from your face.

So does your flush. You look ashen now.

Maybe it was because he had a sword out.

He’d never pointed one towards you.

Despite his weapon now facing you, he tilts his head and tries for a smile. It’s strained, his eyes looking at you with barely restrained mania. It’s been hard keeping his true self hidden from you. The side that wants to whisk you away and keep you from the rest of the world. No one else deserves you. Your happiness. Your smiles. Your attention, that was all his.

“You belong to me.”

I realized I've been beating myself up with the thought that I can't write unless it's for something, and its clean and finished, which isn't good. This is my first step to try and get out of that!

Rise Raph × reader angst!

Red Red Red

Your vision blurred, the bright things brighter from the cold that teased the edges of your eyelids but didn't dare fall. The pain had been so much just moments before, but too much morphed into nothing, either thanks to shock or something else. You flinched and turned away from an impact you heard to your left, only for light to breach the rubble that had you trapped.

"Softy!"

You recognized that gruff voice, even further recognized the red masked face that looked at yours.

"Hey, Raphie," you murmured, only for the use of your voice to push discomfort up your throat until you coughed it out.

Raphs eyes looked so small, so scared, focused lower on your body rather than your face. You hated seeing him so uneasy. He was rarely free of unease. You felt so bad for doing this to him.

His hand must have touched you, as the buzzing ache turned sharp and ripped a screech from your chest. He pulled his hand away immediately, eyes glancing to the red you saw painting his skin, only for him to instead look at your face. You wondered, same as him, how you were the one so calm in this moment. Tears fell from his eyes, fat and wet and soaking his mask a similar color to his hand.

"I-I can't- not you," he begged, your name coming out a strangled sound.

"You won't," you replied, doing your best to smile just to sell it. He didn't say he didn't believe you.

His hand, painted in red, colored your skin and hair as he brushed his thumb on your cheek. You leaned into his touch, your tears finally falling aswell. It surprised you when his lips crashed into yours.

And he smothered you, and you wanted nothing more. Your lips moved against his like it'd be the last time, knowing it'd be the last time, desperately trying to convey just how much you love him. He returned it with an even greater level of care, trying to convey just how much he needed you.

Everything faded away in that kiss. The world, the pain, sight and sound and touch.

Raph sobbed alone.

So Much For Huevos Rancheros

You decided a sleepover with your favourite mutants was long overdue, so last night you went to the lair wearing your fluffiest pyjama pants for an impromptu movie night. Mikey chose an R-rated Chris Bradford film to make fun of, and all of you agreed to make it a bad movie night. Ninety minutes and a turtle pile for sleeping later, you wake up to the smell of breakfast wafting from the kitchen.

Groggily, you sit up and wince at the stomachache, immediately laying back down due to your stomach telling you to kill yourself. Raph groans beside you, reaching for your hand and intertwining his fingers with yours, yawning with a comfortable smile. Mikey's head was previously on your chest and Donnie's is on your lap, drooling on your pyjamas. The orange turtle was awake, rubbing at his eyes and giving you a dopey smile as you looked up at him.

"Morning tummyaches again?" He reached down to your stomach, rubbing your left side gently to soothe the aches. You sigh in relief, thankful enough that Mikey knew just how to make your mornings better. After a moment, a blush flushes your face and you sit up to bump your head against his plastron.

"Thanks Mikey," you peck his cheek then carefully get up, trying your best not to wake Raph and Donnie. The youngest turtle brother goes to turn the TV on again, keeping the volume low. You move on to the kitchen, where Leo seems to be the one cooking.

He was wearing a a frilly apron, which seemed out of character for him, but he was making huevos rancheros, just the way you showed him. Your heart lept in your throat at the display, sighing dreamily as you watched your turtle work.

"Come here and give me a good morning kiss, hm?" He turned, smiling at you while you lean forward, planting a chaste kiss on his lips. You try to step back but he drops the utensil he was using to wrap an arm around you and keep you in close proximity so he could keep kissing you. You melt in his arms and reach to grab onto his shoulders, and he snakes his arm up your back to feel how tense your back muscles had become due to the way you slept. He parts with a concerned look. "You should have slept in my bed last night," Leo frowns and jabs at one of your pressure points to undo the tension of your muscles, your spinal cord turning to cooked spaghetti.

"Nuh-uh, we all agreed on a cuddle pile last night because April and Casey couldn't come, just because you're leader doesn't mean you get them for more time than the rest of us!" Mikey walked up to the kitchen with a pout, letting the TV run as background noise instead.

"Fuck you mean, nuh-uh?" Raph yawned, walking by Mikey to nudge him harshly, then kiss the side of your head to pass by, his destination seeming to be the fridge. Mikey was flabbergasted, gesturing to Raph as if he was saying "get a load of this guy". Raphael turned from the fridge with the pitcher of homemade orange juice in his hand and a glare that put Mikey in his place.

"I... I think we're supposed to be on Mikey's side, Raph."

Donnie walks in to wrap his arms around you and nuzzle on the top of your head, breathing you in. You rolled your eyes, putting your hands on your hips.

"I swear, the four of you have a hard time sharing even though you're old enough to know how. It's cute when it's a movie or comic book but not when it's me. Can we please just have breakfast in peace? Together?" You sit at the breakfast bar and the turtles responded "yes" in unison, a smirk playing on your lips. Leo served your huevos rancheros last, giving you the freshest of the food he cooked. The four of you eat in silence, enjoying Leo's cooking.

After breakfast, the five of you end up cuddling on the couch, each turtle entangled with a part of you in some way, giving you adoring nuzzles as you watched Space Heroes together.

"You know we love you, right?" Leo whispers, stroking your hair and giving you a quick kiss below your ear, making you flinch.

"We love you lots, princess..." Donnie grins from your lap, looking up at you, then reaching for your palm to press his lips against it. Not quite a kiss, but a romantic gesture nonetheless.

"Love you beyond the moon and back, honey..." Raph reaches for your other hand, kissing a trail up to your bicep, then nuzzling into your shoulder. Mikey turns around to look up at you from below, where he usually sits when there's no room for him on the couch. He leans in to kiss your knee politely, a grin on his face as he stares up at you in wonder.

"Nothing will ever make us stop loving you, ice cream cake! You're ours forever!"

You pull your hands back to cover your face, feeling embarrassed, but heart so full. You're glad you slept over the lair and spent time with your silly turtle boyfriends.

Leo's relationship with death

Leo really doesn't like to think about death.

I mean, we all saw how much impact Karai's death had on all of Mad Dogs but Leo was the only one that had to be dragged from her, yelling after her, he really, really didn't want to lose her.

And I think when he lost her it left a deep scar.

I saw posts talking how Leo wants for things to get back to normal and pretend nothing happened, which I completely agree with. I think it's in big part because of his fear of repeating losing a close one.

He REALLY doesn't want to even acknowledge death.

Here Raph seemed to be getting through to Leo-

-but the moment he mentions possibility of his family dying?

Nope, time to deflect, joke and feign ignorance.

Leo's aware that death is a big part of being a responsible hero and that's why he'd rather goof off with his brothers and not train.

Because obviously when you ignore something it just dissapears, right? So if they ignore severity of certain situations and possibility of dying it won't happen, right?

If they don't treat it seriously they'll be fine! Totally!

Then Raph shields Leo from the Krang and sends him away.

And it's as if Karai's death stared right in his eyes.

So Leo picks up the slack of leadership in order to save Raph. He behaves carelessly during this time but can you really blame him, he desperately wants to save his brother, to stop yet another family member from death that he is so scared of.

He still tries to be positive and nonchalant, that "pfff obvioulsy everything will turn out alright!" but at the end of the day, it's not that simple.

Casey's speech had hard time to really hit Leo, he's still avoiding confronting resposibility, literally and metaphorically turning away from it. But the moment Casey says Leo's whole family died?

Now that made an impact.

And every time his family is in terrible danger he looks absolutely terrified and basically every time Leo has to be dragged away to not just return and try to save them again.

And when there's nobody to drag him away?

First thing he does is sacrifice himself. Because I don't think Leo is scared of his own death, or at least he is not as scared of him dying as his family. He'd rather give away his life than live through another grief.

Obviously I'm not sayin that the rest of the fam isn't terrified of close ones dying. But while they seem less aware (Mikey) and/or more ready for the possibility (Raph)...

Leo's wholly aware but he'd rather not be and ignore his fears until he can't anymore.
