a win for tortured writers and haunted artists everywhere
They should invent a tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow that doesn’t creep in this petty pace from day to day
Remember to never leave your famous writers in a hot car
Woah current WIP tease. This is pretty much a complete redo of an old WIP that I hated and I’m liking this one way more. I’m using the HABOOK Paint brushes for Procreate.
The history of a man that tries and tries, but in the end, fails to achieve the apparently simplest of the tasks: find its own path, but without being conscious of the method or the way to do it properly for himself. Probably the story of many that, in this society, in this system, are and has been oppressed by the forces of enthropy, and capitalism. A story that, in a certain way, reminds of myself. we already have people bitching about how “i can’t stand Chani, she’s so annoying 🙄” and “Paul chose Chani to be the mother of his children, Irulan is just at the sidelines eating dust as she should”, like brothers we cannot do this again. We can’t Chani v Irulan our way out of this one because the problem is Paul and the Empire. Gosh, we truly are never getting out of the patriarchy.
lotr version because this meme encompasses my entire being
A Jinx WIP? How did that get in there..
I’ve been drawing a lot more recently and feel like my style has developed a lot compared to a few months ago , and so I just get too excited to stay working on one thing at a time. Not that I have a great track record of finishing things anyway, but that’s not the point.
Like I’m screaming and throwing up. Are you kidding me.
"college is the best years of your life" "college is for meeting new people and expanding your mind" wrong. college is for discovering new types of grief. also the timeloop
I was listening to a podcast for some updates on Joost's trial. And one of the hosts asked if the Dutch delegation made a mistake choosing Joost as a representative 'cause there were signs that he wouldn't be able to deal with the pressure of media well enough. He goes on to say that some people say that with Joost's background and mental health stability they should've picked an artist more up to the task (the host disagrees with this).
But I was thinking, what a sad society would we live in if people with trauma or people on the spectrum, wouldn't even be considered to live their dreams because they're deemed "not up to the task". What do these people want? Hush hush don't let people know different people exist?
20, Zosia, she/theyI make art occasionally and like things a totally normal amountwho’s up chewing their music?
