Post middle school me: well my parents are really pissed about me being a werewolf so I guess I can't be a werewolf. It's probably just a cringey phase anyway.

18-20 year old me: my werewolf phase was likely born from the consistent and inescapable child abuse I suffered, and my desire to protect myself from it. It was also a way for me to connect with my friends at the time and express my love for nature. Yeah it was cringey, but it made those difficult years worthwhile.

as an alterhuman (more specifically therian) artist with a lot of 'types that have tails I have a voice in my head that tells me to draw any and every character from media that isnt human (except for certain ones like Splatoon inkfish creatures cause they're too human looking) with a tail. I'm pretty sure that this is because I use art as a form of therapy and usually draw things that I want myself (a tail is one of those things) so I can imagine it a bit better but having to repress the urge to draw a character that canonically doesn't have a tail (cause there's another part of my brain that's dedicated to logic and sensemaking) can be quite annoying

[as a cat therian who's shifted my sleep schedule to falling asleep 01.00-04-00 (AM) and then falling asleep again for about 2-6 hours when I get home from school I can say with certainty that although this is far from healthy I feel more silly than ever when i feel fur where there should be fur cause i can wear gear without worrying about strangers judging me and make crafts (including gear) for the sole purpose of my own enjoyment and draw whatever the fuck i feel like drawing or animating!!!!!!!!!]
