This has that really nice upbeat tempo Hong Kong Streets does along with some traditional instruments. I loved how no matter what you did in Hong Kong, the music would stay fast and upbeat, even if you were just looking around in an alley or something.

I also feel this would make some really nice map music for a Bamboo forest multiplayer map. Spring time, giant bamboo shoots throughout the map and near midway there could be a big pond with large sight lines in an otherwise low visibility map. It would have to have bright lighting, even in the forest, maybe noon or just after, a few large trails and several smaller ones cutting through the forest. Probably have a creek waterfall that flows into the pond as well with good ambient sounds, the water and local wildlife. A small or medium size map, limited or no vehicles allowed.

I screwed up the orientation on this one bad. I had it the wrong way starting, then I flipped it. I shouldn't have flipped it once it started.

Never start over critiquing everything your art or even your hobbies. The moment you do, you lose the enjoyment you had of those things and it is very hard to get that enjoyment back.

I said I'd draw Graph's character Mattie, but I didn't know what to draw, so when I was looking over her reference sheet, I saw her cow pastie design labeled "Mattie's last line of defense" and immediately thought of it as a Small Shield.

I tried to emulate the graphics in Vindictus and stylize Meushi Mattie's normal outfit to look like something from the game, even managing to stay to only three colors per piece which is why the hammer is only black, white and gold.

I named the Shield the 'Line of Defense' and the hammer 'Cowpat'

I didn’t fullscreen it or anything, but the VFs with the inverted wings looked like 19s. But no, those are 27s aren’t they? I’ve not watched Macross in years.

I’m actually kind of excited that there’s a new Macross show coming. Are those VF-19s being used as the grunt ships now? Does that mean there’s going to be an enemy powerful enough for the ‘overpowered’ VF-19 to be viable?
