AVA in general is just such a hot mess, along with AVM.. the missed opportunities in general is just so downright sad sjhd I stick with my personal interpretations because the canon was just executed and written so poorly. I always see topics centered around Mitsi's utter waste of a character, and the biggest factor is that Mitsi's bit hardly scratches the surface of the complete iceberg of shit writing it's just baddd JSJDJJS the newest video releasing this saturday just holds all my fears in one place. I'm hoping it will get taken into it's rightful spotlight and discussed properly (as far as you can properly discuss ADDICTION with an audience of children) but it still won't take away the fact on how horribly it was built up and anticipated
I don't get the hype about Mitsi, and I don't even like her sorry. Only her death. To me, she just felt like an obstacle and just a writing plot for justification, and an opposite. For Vic to make a connection to Chosen and Alan. And sure it worked, but the rest... meh. She helped rocket yeah, and co-founded it yeah, but I feel like just having Vic do it is fine. Him doing it solo is better. And it just pisses me off that it's now a ship because: "OH look, male and female character together?ROMANCE!!" HALF the time I see this and the "true love" thing and I hate it.
She only served the purpose of Death. Just a put in, help, kill character. I mean I not mad, since I get the joy of feed on the tears of the suffering, it's just that I'm confused and don't get why y'all just praise her.
These are my opinions, and if you don't like what I'm saying I can take it down it's fine. I might also sound rude here so sorry.
Nah shit dawg what happened to my stickmans
This series is an addiction
absolutely obsessed with your purple design - so femme, so lovely, I adore themmmmm (or is it her? i see purple as a she/they personally)
either way, sending much love ur way!
In conclusion, their pronouns are He/Him, but as they are just beginning the transition to boy, that is why their very feminine and defined features are clearly seen...
βHis beauty is not like the beauty of Japanese or Asian models, where she has big eyes and lips
β He has the beauty of a geisha (I would like to draw his parents so you can get an idea...) His features are more circular or oval, that's why in the drawings, I draw him with an oval face...
First and foremost your writing is.. woah it's so well written and lovely, it's very neat
Okay so way out of context but imagining the body horror in avam is always so insane to me.
For an obvious example - Gold.
He had his shreds of code disintegrating and deteriorating into a foreign development, with intentions of adapting with it (which it couldn't, obviously β that's some wild body horror) That is equivalent to your body and flesh rotting in real time, tissue and muscle being horrifically stretched and pulled apart piece by chunkkk desperately trying to acclimate to a new, unfamiliar existence. no no nuh uh,
We as a fandom does not give enough credit or a second glimpse to Gold's death because we aren't, yk, stickfigures, but imagining and applying that to reality, it is sickening to say the least.
And of course, Victim and his rocket significantly saturating was due to Victim not being an animation/art piece uploaded to Newgrounds. He doesn't belong there. (So his body deteriorated in color, and he visibly starts shrinking/pressuring in on himself.) Thats cool if I'm being honest. Disturbing yeah, but cool.
As much as I love Victim with scars, I'd like to propose:
Victim doesn't have any scars, but he still feels like he does.
His body, this body, this iteration of him, is pristine; it was brand new, freshly drawn, and Alan hadn't gotten the chance to damage him before he escaped. The past damage never carried over to the new instances of him. There's not a mark on him, there's nothing physically wrong with it.
But he can still feel where he'd been hurt before. The places where there should be scars, marks, knotted flesh knit imperfectly back together from so so so so many deaths. The phantom sensations of something being there, dull and distant, both there yet not, and he doesn't know if he's going crazy, hallucinating again, or if it's real. He can't tell.
All he knows is that it feels wrong, disconcerting, when his fingers brush over only smooth skin.
He has no physical scars, at least not from Alan, not on this body. But the psychological phantasmal scars are very much there, and never quite fade away completely.
ok but like,
