The other half is fangirling over that one NPC and not being able to share it with anyone because my players aren't even supposed to know the NPC's name this early in the story
Half of my experience as a GM is running a 5e adventure every once in a while only to realize "ahhh so thaaaat's why I haven't touched this absolute brain frying machine of a system in a year, I should remember not to touch it with a 10 foot pole ever again"
But then I let people on the internet gaslite me into thinking that 5e is not THAT much harder then OSR and the cycle continues
Was trying to sketch some birds in a park, but they were too fast
So I drew a guy instead
*wakes up*
I finally came up with a perfect setting for my weirdo characters to live in
*goes back to sleep, never mentions it ever again*
Also one of like two other artists there was a guy with a funger fan art that I saw on Twitter
Because no matter how many people are there on the internet odds to run into someone in a tiny gay bar in Argentina are pretty high
Visited a russian-speaking lgbt immigrants fair (god what a mouthful)
It had an extra hour in a ball pit
And this guy who wasn't selling anything he just sat there and painted. I heard him say "well I just excepted a magical way of life"
I'm planning to become this guy when it's time for me to retire
Oooh BOY I haven't posted here for a LONG TIME
Here is a useful chart for how long
Time of last post: one cat
Current time: two cat
I abandoned the idea of taking commissions a while back, because every time I tried it just fucked me up psychologically. But I really should have been working on my online brand as an artist anyway.. Because right now a couple of emergency commissions could literally save my life, but I have no followers to sell them to.
Well. If I survive this it's going to be a life lesson. If you have a half-decent skill at your disposal - better don't let it get rusty and know how to quickly monetize it if everything else fails.
