Hello, this is a bit of serious post, but I'd like for you all to pay close attention regardless.

Recently, there has been news that Israel has agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza, allowing for many Gaza citizens some moments of peace, not since October 7th, but since the 1940s.

This is incredible news and it frustrated me to see that there was nobody really talking about it.

On January 27th - 31st 2025, I would like for for us all to put a halt on posting in its entirety, including reblogs to stand in silence and commemorate the millions of lives lost. For all the children, women, and men who suffered so harshly at the hands of genocide.

But I'd like to also use it as a day of silent gratitude that there are still many who may finally be able to breathe, who are finally able to receive care after so much pain and struggling.

The rest of Palestine is still under rubble and ruin. They still need help. Please, keep speaking about it as loud as you can, post donation asks and reblog any that you see, and hold hope that Israel will listen and let them free as well.

Here's why (for if you find that statement impossible to understand):

I have NO money to give you.

I'm not popular enough that I will give you any reach.

I am a minor, and most of my followers/mutuals are too.

It makes me feel extremely guilty.

Seeing pictures of injuries or hospitals etc are triggering and/or upsetting for me. These pictures often have blood, gore, extreme medical situations, hospital environments, etc. I'm not saying I don't feel sympathy for them, I'm saying I do not want to see that.

They are always worded in a way that makes me feel like I am a murderer if I don't donate.

I said I don't want them, and my boundaries should be respected. They make me feel uncomfortable, and sometimes triggered or upset.

I can't tell what is a bot/scam and what isn't. Yes, I know most of them are not, or whatever it is you believe, but I don't have the time to do a full study of each asker.

I get a lot of spam from this. It is disappointing to see 10 new asks in my inbox just to be the same ask for donations over and over.

Please, just respect the fact that I have said this.

I am pro Palestine and want to do everything I can to help but I'm not financially or mentally well enough to do much. I'm not in support of these people dying. Also, this post isn't just about Palestine. It's about ALL asks for donations. I'm not doing favouritism or racism. I just can't deal with it. Don't harass me for expressing boundaries. Because for some reason he had the same clothes and mask as in New York and was carrying the same gun and suppressor. And when the cops detained him he showed them the same fake id he used in New York. And oh yeah he's a frat bro gym rat who has a masters degree in computer science from Penn but reads stupid self-help books about being on the grind and is 'anti-woke' while being bisexual suffering from anxiety and wanting to end oppressive capitalism. I still have my doubts that Luigi is really The Claims Adjuster, because I simply do not believe the cops at their word, but even if he is really the guy and he is a right-winger, then that means he chose to take all the hatred in his heart and point it against our oppressors instead of lashing out against the marginalized. That's a good thing.
