✨Cleansing✨
Cleansing is the practice of cleaning the negative energy out of yourself, your posessions or surroundings.
• Smoke. Pass the item you're cleansing through smoke, whether it be smoke from incense, a candle or a fire.
• Water. First make sure the item you're cleansing is water proof, or at least water resistant, there are a few crystals that are damaged by water, so beware! Sprinkle water on the object you're cleansing, especially if it's moon water or full moon water.
• Salt. Put the object your cleansing in salt, or put salt on the object. Salt will soak up all the negative energy in the item. Beware, there are some crystals damaged by salt.
• Sunlight and Moonlight. Put your item outside or near a window. Let the item bathe in the light for a few hours. Beware of bleaching! You can also sprikle salt in your doorway on the first friday of every month (or whenever) to protect and cleanse your home.
• Crystals. Use corresponding crystals to cleanse your object. Put them around/on your object. If you're cleansing your own energy, keep the crystals in your hands or carry them with you.
• Pick the thing you want to cleanse (be it your home, your crystals, your witchcraft materials, your jewellery, etc)
• Pick a method of cleansing (use your intuition)
• Feel your energy and listen to your feelings when cleansing, try to stay calm. You can close your eyes and breathe deep.
• Try to transfer your positive energy into the object. Imagine your positivity flowing into it.
And you're done!
Crystals that have cleansing properties include:
• Selenite
• Clear Quartz
• Citrine
• Black Tourmaline
• Black Onyx
• Fluorite
• Selenite
• Apatite

Hi welcome to our blog!
We are Angel and Comet !
We are offering free readings ,before requesting a reading please read the rules.
1. For the moment we prefer to answer them in private, so if you send us an anonymous ask we can’t do your reading .
2. Be patient , doing readings for free is not easy and is time consuming,so it gonna take some time .
3. Don’t be rude (say a hello and a goodbye , please tell us your nickname, if you have preferred pronouns let us know we don’t wanna make anyone uncomfortable)
4. Even if you requested before a reading for us make sure to tell us again what you wanna know , your nickname etc . After completing a reading we are going to erase the messages .
5. We are more than happy to hear some feedback , but please be polite .
6. It’s ok to ask for another reading but consider that other people want readings too so again be patient .
7. Try to refrain yourself from asking us what you should do , you have your own life so you should take your own decisions.
8. We prefer receiving the requests through messages not asks , if you could send them this way you’ll make our work easier and we will get a bit faster to your request.
9. Please try respecting the template below.
Template for asking for a reading :
Hello , I’m… , these are my pronouns…. .
I’m here to ask for a reading ….
………..
Have a nice day/Goodbye/Etc.
Have a nice day !
We can’t ask everyone and make sure you are old enough to ask for a reading or that you aren’t gonna hurt yourself after you get our reading. Everyone has their own triggers and their own mental state . So make sure before you ask for a reading to check with yourself if : you are mentally ok with hearing something you might not like and second you are mature enough to not have a harmful reaction towards yourself or other .
So when I first started my path, I knew I wanted to write my own spells. I got alot of inspiration from other blogs online, but I just felt silly saying things and such that I didn’t feel like was me. It wasn’t personal enough, especially since I was beginning this path on my own. I’ve been practicing for about six months now (by no means very long) but I was having trouble keeping track of all of the components of my spells. So I made a template for myself to keep myself organized when writing my spells, and I thought I’d share it with you all!
1. Spell Name As a beginner, keep it simple. You can number spells that have the same intents.
2. Goal/Intention These will get more specific as you go.
3. Timing Date & Time, Day of the Week, Lunar Phase. Personally, that’s what I follow. But you might want to add astrology aspects as well if you’re into that.
4. Ingredients This is where I was having a hard time of keeping organized. I divided this part into the following sections: - Candles - Incense/Smudge - Oils - Herbs, Flowers, Trees, etc - Crystals - Tarot Cards - Tea - Etc. (any magickal waters, flower essence, tinctures, inks, sigils, basically anything else you are incorporating into the spell)
5. Chants/Words I keep mine as short as possible so they’re easier to memorize.
6. Steps Start with setting up your supplies, casting a circle (if you do that), grounding and centering. Always have a closing (dismissing elements/deities, opening the circle, etc) as to not leave any unwanted energies just floating around.
7. Results Obviously you’re going to have to come back to this one after some time.
A few other things: - Read over your template a few times before performing the spell to avoid any loop holes or things you may have missed. - The ingredients section is where you’ll have the most freedom. You do you. Use things you have, don’t worry if you’re not incorporating Tarot or tea into your spells. Work with what is important in your craft. - Have fun! Hopefully this helps!
I loved this show !
stupid.. i like crowley
(Disclaimer: this is all based on UPG, personal experience as well as my own working theories about magic and witchcraft, feel free to add on anything you’ve found to be true, or correct me if I’ve messed up anywhere!)
In my practice, I use several different names. This includes my false name, my witches’ name and my common name. The number of names a witch will use will vary depending on their practice. For instance, a green witch who does not dabble in spirit or otherworld work will likely only use one or two names at most, while a hedge witch can have as many names as spirits that they interact with.
“But Ysbal, what are all these names for? Why do I need them?”
The short answer is to protect your identity and to imbue your workings with extra power.
The long answer is that most of the time a witch will use three types of name; the first and most obvious type is the common name.
The common name is the name you go by on this plane, which you would answer to if someone called it. Yes, this includes nicknames and chosen names. I personally only have a few variations on my common name, although in the past my common name changed before I eventually settled with the one my parents gifted me. This name is most useful for interacting with other people in this physical plane, though it can be substituted for your true name or a witches’ name in magical workings if you don’t have/know them yet.
The second type of name that most witches (and anyone who goes online!) should have is a false name. Your false name is useful for a number of things, but it’s most effective as a form of protection against the Fae and other spirits that may wish to call upon you.
If the Fae have your common or true names, they have power over you. That’s why it’s important to be careful not to share those names and have a false name that you can provide when asked so that you won’t offend them.
It is very important that your false name should be a name that you do not recognise as your own. Meaning, if someone were to call out your false name, you wouldn’t notice or answer.
To prevent yourself from getting accustomed to a false name, you can have a different one for each spirit or group of spirits that you interact with, but that can get confusing, so I personally choose to use a name that I feel no personal connection to other than liking it.
You could choose a name belonging to the opposite or different gender, if that helps; it’s also good to use a name that’s common among those interacting with the fae (I’ve seen ‘Ainsel’ recommended before). Symbols make good false names if you don’t need to speak aloud. Another tip is to choose a name that holds some sort of meaning, particularly if the meaning relates to independence or gaining independence from someone because, as you’ve probably heard a million times, names have power, and maintaining your independence is very important when interacting with Fae and other spirits.
Other benefits of a false name include:
Protecting your identity
Having an alias when interacting with other witches
Just getting to try on a cool sounding name for a bit
(I would be cautious of using your false name in too many places, though, because you might begin to recognise it as your own, at which point you’d have to change it!!)
“What if I like my false name and don’t want to stop using it if I get accustomed to it?”
Good news! You don’t have to. If that name speaks to you, then you can 100% keep using it in the form of a witches’ name. (Ysbal is my witches’ name.)
This is the name you use in among other witches and in spellcraft. You can imbue it with magic, although it likely already has some from its meaning (if you chose a meaningful name) and numerology. Simplified, it’s a common name but with a little more power and significance.
The one warning I’d give with this is to bear in mind that if you’ve already used this name, any spirits you’ve shared it with will have access to it, which is why you always need to be careful with the wording when you share your name. An example: all throughout this post I’ve been using ‘give’ and ‘share’ out of habit, but both of those are bad!! You’re basically saying to the Fae “come fuck with me, I’m all yours.” Instead, say “you can call me” or “I’ll tell you that my name is.” This way you ensure that they know that you’re not giving them any power, and the name remains relatively safe (but never entirely, so always exercise caution with who you give even a false name to!)
Still want a witches’ name, but want to avoid that risk entirely? You can also create a witches’ name from scratch if you so desire, or even ask to be given one (I know it’s a tradition in some covens to give new members coven names to finalise their entry.)
Remember: some witches use the same name actively as their false name and their witches’ name, so it really varies person to person, and how cautious you want to be.
The trickiest name and the one that you, under no circumstances, should ever give away lightly is your true name.
There are a number of theories on what this name is (and if it even exists), from it being the name of your higher self to it being the name you had during your first (or most significant) incarnation. Personally, I believe it to be the unique name given to the shard of the universe that is you.
What your true name ‘sounds’ like will vary. Most people recognise their true names when they are called by them, but wouldn’t be able to tell you what they are beforehand. Your true name is what identifies you in the deepest sense, and this could be anything from a certain scent; a certain feeling; or even a specific frequency of sound.
If you know your true name, you can use it in magical workings to empower them, as well as to give to (trusted) friends to help them find you on the astral or in times of need.
“How do I find my true name, and how will I know it’s the right one?”
If you believe so, you can ask your higher self to give it to you. You can also ask around among spirits you know well and trust or who knew you in a previous incarnation, as well as spirit guides, angels, or patron deities. I’ve also heard of hypnosis as a method, although this might be risky as the hypnotist will also then have access to your true name. It is important to note that none of this guarantees you will be told your actual, genuine true name.
I personally, do not yet know my true name (and it’s totally ok not to!!), so I can’t tell you anything other than the cliche, “if it is your name, you’ll know” that I’ve picked up from speaking to other people.
So, there you have it! A quick run-down on how to use names in your magical practice. I hope this is helpful to someone, and if I’ve been grossly misinformed on any of these, please let me know!!

Here’s a summary of what I think we witches need for foundation of the craft. Don’t get me wrong! Even I started from the middle back to basics and still learning more but if this means helping baby witches start, I’m here to help.
☕ First of all..Witchcraft is NOT limited to Wicca Pagamism. That means, a lot of rules that you think applies to all witches doesn’t really apply to you. Get me?
☕ Don’t even bother with the labels. It’s your craft. That makes it unique onto itself.
☕ Make your own set of rules and/or reminders early on. Make your own set of goals to follow.
☕ Magic does not replace hard work. REMEMBER THAT. Instead, use it to help you with work.
☕ As much as possible, stay away from the dark side of things. Do yourself a favor and don’t practice the craft for raising the dead or illegal matters
☕ Not all spells are intricate and habe a ritual itself. A lot of spells include Mental Imaging as I call it or Imagining. That’s a powerful tool.
☕ That said: You 👏 Don't👏 Need 👏 Equipment 👏 Why? As I said!! The power of the mind and projecting your own intentions are what you have to practice. Use a candle if you must if it helps but you don’t need it.
☕ Cleanse your room or house. Trust me. You’ll sleep better, you can see dreams better, you’ll feels better. How? Clean your room, open your curtains, let the sunlight flush out the bad energies at every corner, give warmth to the monster under your bed or that spirit that likes misplacing your things..~
☕ Full Moon magic? Simple. CAST YOUR SPELLS ON A FULL MOON. Yah duh. Yes. Even I just learned this.
☕ Tarot cards expensive? Ha!! Download a tarot app, screenshot the cards, print it. BOOM. Your own set of cards.
☕ Doubting you can’t use spells online? Sweetie, they’re there for a reason. Sure it’s not yours but hey! It’s that 1% of how you do it that makes it yours too.
There are a LOT of sites that help you through your path, some offer free crash course of the whole shebang and you’ll learn a lot! That said, don’t stop the research, don’t be discouraged by the pretty altars–Best way to practice is to try it now. Cast your first spell! Write your own spells! Get that app for tarot!
Don’t let anyone tell you how you do your magic. It’s yours.
Honestly, we should write research papers for these things..just saying..
