Elemental magic sometimes requires us to marry two elements into one to get our desired results, which can be a bit baffling at times. This short guide is to help with some suggestions of elemental combinations you can use to combine the power of two, sometimes opposite, elemental energies into harmony. There are likely many other combinations, these are just some of my personal suggestions - but other combos exist!
Water and Fire: steam, vapor
Water and Earth: clay, mud, roots, wood
Water and Air: bubbles, fog, clouds, storms
Water and Light: rainbows/colors, mist, reflections
Water and Shadow: ink, paint
Water and Sound: water drops, rain, rain sticks, waves
Water and Frost: ice, snow
Water and Moon: moon water, dew droplets
Water and Sun: foliage/flowers, fruit
There is no heterosexual explanation for this

Another entry for 2021 Craftober art challenge, you can find this and other fantasy inspired jewelry in my shop : here :3
For this week I chose the words “Forgotten Temple”… and then went on in my head imagining lost civilizations and an ancient cult of the Sun, whose clerics wore crystal amulets… because, well… I probably miss playing dnd too much.
The visual inspiration for this piece came from Kingdoms of Amalur and, speaking of mysterious populations, from the art of the Erathi ruins in particular.
Though I have a problem with many of the narrative choices of this videogame, the artists who designed creatures and environment created something breathtaking, and, for this particular aspect, KOA will always have a place in my heart.
This is a spell to create a ring that drains and absorbs high amounts of specific energy, holds it, and releases it at the caster’s will. It can be used on people, (which is primarily how I have used it) and there for may be classified as “dark magic.” However, you can use the ring however you feel comfortable/ however it fits your morals.
What you will need: -specific intent and programming for how you wish the ring to work. - a ring, preferably one with a gemstone or precious metal ornament (silver, copper, etc.) - a bowl - moon water - a clear quartz piece, preferably spherical, but a point will do. - five white candles (any size is fine) - a chain or string -lavender oil
The goal of the spell is to create a concentrated spiral/vortex of energy, and then lock this vortex to the ring. Place the quartz sphere in the bowl, and pour moon water in around it. Align the candles at equal distances from eachother around the bowl. Note: the reason a Quartz sphere is preferred over a point is because the energy of spherical gems moves in a circular motion around them. This will make it much easier to create the vortex. Before starting the spell, cleanse the ring thoroughly by whatever means you prefer. Next, tie one end of your chain to the ring (like a pendulum.) Dangle the ring over the Quartz sphere at the center of the bowl. Now, as you program the ring with intent, you are going to swing it in a clockwise circle. Because this is a very powerful tool, you need to be EXTREMELY specific with instructions for how the ring will function. Here I will give you some basic instructional ideas to make sure the ring works as safely as possible; - state a specific finger the ring must be on and hand motion that must be made in order to open the vortex and absorb energy. For instance: “to drain energy from the target, twirl it clockwise on the pointer finger.” Note: While using the ring, make it clear what energy you wish to absorb, such as happiness, motivation, sadness, etc. - state a specific action or key phrase to release energy from the ring, in order to avoid “leaking.” It would also be smart to make a phrase that can be adapted to state a target to aim the released energy into. - make it clear that the vortex may only open when you intend it too, or else it could end up draining your energy and leaving you very weak.
Because the instructions are so specific, it would be best to write them out before starting. Recite your instructions while spinning the ring, and once you’re done, annoint the ring with lavender oil and seal the vortex to the ring through visualization. Once the bond is sealed, leave the ring to charge overnight with some amethyst, moonstone, and/or clear Quartz.
Tips: - remember that any energy you absorb into the ring will stay inside until you release it. I suggest clearing and cleansing it at least once a day, preferably after each use. - remember that just as you can take energy from someone or something, you can take that energy and place it somewhere/in something else. Example: take sadness and anger out of someone you DO like and put it into someone you DON’T like. - understand that if you take energy from/put energy into someone, you are affecting them in a very real way, and you could possibly affect their mental and/or physical health (in a positive or negative way) - using this ring is a very good way to practice visualizing and sensing/feeling energy.
As always, much love and good luck 💖 message me if you have any questions!
Spiritual showers
Turning your shower into a more spiritual experience can be a wonderful way to start or end your day with mindfulness and tranquility.
Here are some ways to make your shower more spiritual:
1. Set an intention: Before stepping into the shower, set a positive intention for your experience. This could be to wash away stress, find clarity, or simply be present in the moment.
2. Use aromatherapy: Incorporate essential oils or scented shower products with calming or spiritually uplifting scents, such as lavender, eucalyptus, or frankincense.
3. Practice mindfulness: Focus on the sensations of the water and the sound of it falling. Be fully present in the moment, letting go of distractions and worries.
4. Meditate: Consider using your shower time for a short meditation. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and clear your mind as you feel the water cleanse your body and spirit.
5. Visualisation: Visualize the water washing away negative energy or stress, leaving you refreshed and renewed.
6. Affirmations: Recite positive affirmations or mantras while in the shower to promote a sense of inner peace and self-empowerment.
7. Gratitude: Express gratitude for the water, which is essential for life, and for the cleansing and rejuvenating effects of your shower.
8. Gentle movement: Incorporate gentle stretches or movements to promote physical and spiritual well-being while the water flows over you.
9. Sacred symbols: Consider placing meaningful symbols or objects in your bathroom to create a sacred atmosphere.
10. Music or chanting: Play soothing music or chant softly to enhance the spiritual ambiance and promote relaxation.
Remember that the key is to create a personalized experience that resonates with your spiritual beliefs and intentions.
Experiment with these suggestions to find what works best for you and adds a spiritual dimension to your shower routine.
Hello World! (hehe)
Ive noticed a lack of information on techno-magic and what being a tech witch might entail! Tech magic is the use of modern-day technology in our magical practices! This can be a secular practice OR someone may pair other aspects of theology into it! There is also 'Technopaganism' which is the merge of neopaganism and digital magic. Some people may worship tech and its energy or some people simply use it as a tool for ritual magic!
In this post I wanted to showcase a few ideas to get you started in the tech practice! The first section being common tools, the second is common tech practices, and the last is about how to take steps into your new tech practice and advance forward!
First: The tools To get started here are some amazing apps people might get on their phones to carry magic anywhere
The Moon is an iphone based calander with a bunch of free information about the phases of the moon and even crystals and intentions related to the phase!
Rune reading on the Google Play Store this is a divination app in relation to runes!
Citrine Circle is a great crystal data base to keep track of crystal you either have or want to get
Time Passages is a free chart reader that will read your whole astrological chart!
Labrynthos is a free tarot app that not only gives you access to free tarot, oracle, and lenormand decks, but it teaches you how to read them
Next are physical or digital items you can use in your craft, I will go in more detail in the sections to follow!
Computers, phones, tablets
Mouse
Keyboards
Applications and websites
coding platforms
Second: The Practice
This section is all about creating ideas to use for your craft! This section is all about how to integrate common witchy things into your craft! There are thousands of ways to do this so it would be impossible for me to share every idea but hopefully, these get your creative juices flowing
Cleanse using music or beats you enjoy over a speaker
Use mechanical processes in your spells (for example your cars computer could be a green light charm if you hate waiting in red lights)
Create digital grimoires on places like notation or google docs
Create altars on places like Pinterest or sandbox games
Play video games with intentions, like tycoon games for prosperity and FPS for warding
Use autotune during chants to add more power to your voice
Use screens for scrying or intuition practices
Shufflemancy is when you shuffle through a playlist and get a song as a form of divination
Use the energy of a crystal on your screen if you don't physically have one
create digital sigils and hide them around your electronics
Learn a coding language and mess around with enchanting code
Third: How to move forward
So now that you have a few recommendations how can you advance? first research, check out some of these sources for even more information
Tech Magick for Digital Witches
Other Community tech posts
Wiki on technopaganism
Cyber Spell books (Note this was written in 2002 so it is very outdated, however it is actually one of the more recent ones I see online)
Now, Research is going to be the backbone of any practice, however, tech magic doesn't have definite rules so experimentation is going to be your best friend so here are my top tips
If you learn about a new practice ask yourself how you can make it digital (like crystals and the crystals in your phone)
Look deeper into the practice, as you explore how your computer works ask yourself 'why' frequently and question how things work
look into superstitions coders and virtual friends have in relation to computers, are they rooted in anything?
I think that is all for today friends! I hope you all enjoy and if you have any questions feel free to post them in the comments!
Hello! You might be attuned to the magic of solar magic, a vibrant and dynamic practice that harnesses the energy of the sun to fuel spells, rituals, and spiritual growth. The sun, with its warm embrace and life-giving energy, has long been revered as a symbol of power, vitality, and enlightenment. Incorporating solar magic into your practice can illuminate your path to self-discovery, empowerment, and manifestation.
Phases of the Sun 🌅🌞🌇
Just like the moon, the sun has different phases that can be used to amplify your magical workings:
Sunrise: A time of new beginnings, renewal, and fresh starts. Perfect for setting intentions and starting new projects.
High Noon: The peak of the sun’s power. Use this time for spells related to health, physical energy, and wisdom.
Sunset: A moment of transition and release. Ideal for banishing negativity, stress, and confusion.
Magical Properties of the Sun 🌞🔮
The sun’s energy is incredibly versatile and can be used for various magical intents, including:

Sun Symbols: Incorporate sun-shaped items, such as sunflowers, sun charms, and golden decorations.
Colors: Use yellow, orange, and gold to represent the sun’s vibrant energy.
Herbs and Crystals: Include sun-linked herbs like rosemary, chamomile, and sunstone crystals.

Welcome to the first part of my elemental series! Today we will explore some aspects of working with water like offerings, devotional activities, common lessons, aspects, and more! With all that said lets get started!
To preface: I am a devotee to water itself, I am a west witch practioner which means I work within the domain of water, the past, divination, and psyche! I also am a general elemental practioner and have experience working with all of the elements and their aspects!
The verified gnosis depends on what pantheon or historical significance we are looking at, however some things are constant! Water is fluid, represents motion and an unbridled force, but people can work with aspects of water! Water doesnt have a gender (neither do any of the elements) so asking during a working relationship is a great way to bond! Some people use she, he, they, and anything inbetween mainly because there are a lot of dynamics world wide!
In general, Water is primordial, being one of the first elements on the planet to house life as the primordial soup. In general her energy carries this! It has many aspects, from ocean, abyss, stream, river, and more, and spirits/traditions change depending on where you are looking! It mainly has to do with formations on the earth and how water presents to you!
Some people who work with more general bodies like streams, rivers, and lakes have a more relaxed time, learning more about how to go with the flow, tackle divination, and working with aspects of transcendence as many bodies of waters were considered to be portals. When it comes to larger and deeper bodies of water like ocean, abyss, and the primordial soup you will learn lessons more about the human condition, shadow work, and taking on the past.
Some things to note, waters personality is not set in stone, however elements are not omnipotent or omnipresent because they physically exist, its best to call on the energies of the elements before attempting to interact, and this also means they wont be around you all the time. Also, do not be suprised if an element isnt kind to you from the start. In a lot of cultures, elements dislike what we are doing to our planet and in general water may mention the plastic problem and pollution and encourage you to clean up our lands! Its important to remember that to the elements we are simply animals like any other bear, bird, or deer! Remember that you can learn a lot from a distance, so dont be offended if water would rather have you observe nature rather than directly give you answers via divination. UPG: In my experience water tends to be a portal, it is stoic, never saying 'i love you' or 'im proud' simply because it doesnt follow the human system of love. It is billions of years old and interestingly enough, water does rule over the psyche and past and is extremely emotionally intelligent, but has a preference in showing someone how to love themselves rather than giving out the term itself. It humanizes the element too much. Another aspect is even as a devotee it isnt heavy ritual work, a lot of it is introspection and action based!
A good thing to note is water does have a primordial “womb” aspect because of the Primordial soup! Most of the elements will have a birth aspect. On the contrary Water also has a death aspect within Abyss (the darker element) as it relates to death and the shadows. Working with these entities follows a similar feel to working with water itself, however the primordial soup teaches more about the human condition and what it means to evolve, while abyss teaches how to accept our darker flaws and translate them into good.
Most people place altars to water in wet rooms, bathrooms, and showers! Or at least near entrances and thresholds! Water tends to enjoy hand picked items, items from your adventures, and things you find interesting in your research. It tends to really enjoy having a set space.
There is heavy emphasis on action, and usually there are types of offerings! Net Positive, Net Negative, and Neutral! Positive offerings are anything that benefits the water ways which include beach clean ups, enjoying the water with reef safe sun screen, and creating a floating fish feeder! Neutral offerings refer to offerings that neither help nor harm water ways mainly is taking things home and charging them in moon light or on an altar then bringing them back, introducing native florals or herbs to a water way, or creating a biodegradable floating offering. Practicing at home in your shower or with drinking water usually is neutral or even positive. Net Negative are any offerings that negatively impact waterways like introducing salt from an offering, floating non-native florals and herbs, adding crystals to the environment.
Its important that you are aware of the offerings you introduce into your area, research is the key, and if you cant and still want to honor water look into how to conserve water in your own home like creating moon water from potable water, creating potions and other things in a respectful manner, and practicing safely
Some common practices include visiting local water spots, clean ups, potion crafting, collecting waters like moon or rain, meditating during water moments like during rain, cleaning up your bathroom or mudroom, enjoying shower and bathing magic, using steam, and so much more!
