Anhur is a hard-working warrior deity who was awarded the title of "sky-bearing god" for his impeccable service to the Solar Court, first helping the gods guard over Tefnut and later Nut. He eventually replaced Geb in the Ennead as a representative, acting on his behalf after the God of Earth was punished for the trouble he caused the court.
