ppl talking Abt Genshin impact debuting a """"fat"""" character whose weight plays a role in her combat while being cow themed is funny because that concept could have cooked but then you remember it's genshin impact and they absolutely get horrified over the idea of adding a character with melanin.

Happy to share this mythological entity I painted for Isfet, a miniature boardgame set in ancient Egypt.
This is Kherty, an underworld deity. He was said to be the one to carry the spirits of the deceased to the afterlife and protect them from evil spirits, similar to the Greek ferryman Charon. It may be plausible to say Kherty was the original underworld deity before Osiris attained divine status.
Please let me know what you think!
All the best,

Fishing feels really natural now that he's more squid-adjacent monster than he is rabbit.
i hate fandom wikis on characters because they often include fan interpretations of the character, not allowing the reader to have a true interpretation of their own, instead one mixed with others'. i dislike fanon in general because it's a recirculation of fan ideas, not creativity based from the original material.
i point out the spread of misinformation on canon for this reason. specifically, people stating common headcanons as fact and final. this does not mean i have an issue with headcanons, as long as people are aware it is a headcanon.
the more fans demand that what their beliefs are is canon, the less variety and diversity, the less interesting takes on characters and their dynamics with others.

One of my favorite families in mythology. Whether it's because of the misfortunes that follow them, or those they cause by their own hand cough cough Seth cough cough
Most of the Myths I like involve them directly or indirectly, so I wanted to make their designs as far away from the modern common imagination as possible (I didn't achieve it with Anubis, so-…) but don't take that last part too seriously, I tried… it's more than enough for me lol
+ I don't care if the myths say that they have, in the best of cases, a very complicated family relationship , I LOVE THEM! AND THEY DESERVE HAPPINESS!!!
some bb Anubis content
Have you ever tried this one?
