I've been thinking about the grocery store scene. Like Buck looked hurt after the "you're exhausting" comment. But that look dropped as soon as Eddie revealed he was angry that he couldn't talk to Buck and that Christopher misses him. He was shocked. No one probably had ever gotten so upset purely because Buck wasn't in their lives. I think Buck's never thought of that one comment since because it was only ever about him not being there that was exhausting.

Ok so, i wrote this a couple years ago and nothings changed i spent valentine's day doing the same... I'm actually rereading the same fic...
