Sonnet 42

Sonnet 42

That thou hast her is not all my grief, And yet it may be said I loved her dearly; That she has thee is of my wailing chief, A loss in love that touches me more nearly. Loving offenders, thus I excuse ye: Thou dost love her because thou knowst I love her; And for my sake even so doth she abuse me, Suff’ring my friend for my sake to approve her. If I lose thee, my loss is my love’s gain, And losing her, my friend hath found that loss; Both find each other and I lose both twain, And both for my sake lay on me this cross. But here’s the joy; my friend and I are one. Sweet flatt’ry! Then she loves but me alone.

TLD last night reminded me in a weird way of Shakespeare’s 42nd. One would imagine that the Bard and Mofftiss entertained unscrupulous joy when composing such timey/rhymy, fishy/twisty mind blowing verse.   Well done, y’all!

Hopefully This Is Premature, But Goodbye, Old Friend. Your Music Charms My Soul. Del Mar Kaaboo Forever!

Hopefully this is premature, but goodbye, old friend. Your music charms my soul. Del Mar Kaaboo forever! Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet Prince. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. -- Hamlet V.ii.

Afferent neurons in the peripheral nervous system are cold -- shrinkage. Poor baby! But for a great cause. <3

So… Benedict Cumberbach Asked Me (yeah Really) To Tell All Of My Followers Thank You For The Gift,

So… Benedict Cumberbach asked me (yeah really) to tell all of my followers thank you for the gift, (which was a Porto wine bottle) and he also said ‘Tell them to download The Fifth Estate on iTunes’. The man knows how to promote stuff.

So you know what to do. Oh and if you are a follower I did tell him hello from all of you and you can reblog or like this post for a chance to win the above signed label :)

Ooooo, just pulled out my Folger Library edition of Antony and Cleopatra. Would love to see Sir Benedict as Antony! A great man of high stature w a tragic flaw who brings about his own downfall. Rinse & repeat. . . . It would still be terrific show. ". . . a rarer spirit never did steer humanity, but you, gods, will give us faults to make us men."

Reblog if you'd run away with the Doctor this very instant.

"Blimey! 78,327 of you? I suppose you could all fit in the TARDIS. Well, she is bigger on the inside. I’ll tell you what, pack your things and your best running shoes because let’s be honest - you’re going to need them. I’ll be in your backyard in five minutes to pick you up in the TARDIS. See you then.”

He's such a professional. Can't you just imagine him asking himself, "What am I doing in this ridiculous pose?" But, as w TIBC, all for a great cause. :-) <3

Those At YOU HQ Who Were Still Sitting On The Benedict Cumberbatch Fence Practically Flung Themselves

Those at YOU HQ who were still sitting on the Benedict Cumberbatch fence practically flung themselves over it on seeing this vision in a wet shirt. BC found his inner Darcy for a shoot with Jason Bell (he of cute Prince George photo fame), who was commissioned by TK Maxx to shoot a variety of famous faces, including Liam Neeson, Kate Winslet and Jerry Hall, to celebrate ten years of its Give Up Clothes For Good campaign, which has raised more than £17 million for Cancer Research. Bell’s photographs will be exhibited at La Galleria on Pall Mall, London, from Tuesday until Saturday. tkmaxx.com.
