i have never felt as mature as when i finally understood (through therapy) and internalized (through emotional work) that you cannot connect and communicate with some people no matter how kind, compassionate, understanding, articulate, eloquent, or smart you are, and that sometimes a person not listening to you does not reflect on your communication skills or ability to connect or straight up intelligence. in a way, it’s letting go of the belief that you have the power to make people understand you. communication is a two-way street, and needs two willing participants. some people are just walls, and it has been unbelievably helpful for my mental and emotional health to let it slide and know that it does not affect me or my self worth. 

Okk First of all I love almost all of your fics. They all feel very cathartic in the end like sweet sweet payoff even when the beginning are sometimes too heartbreaking. So thanku for writing those angst with happy ending.

Now I wanna ask which is your all time favorite fic that you feel got the characterization of kara and lena closest to the show, since you have no bookmarks . Also which fic is that you go back to most often from time to time.

and then truce by @itllsetyoufree, would you forget me? (do i know you?) by @hrwinter and the love of forgetting by kl_morgan are probably my favourites in terms of story and all-round canon-ish characterisation, and all of these are fics i’ve read multiple times!

I don't think we talk enough about Amari's live the night Lebron broke the record. Azzi was very demanding and Paige gave in everytime. The looks between Ice, Ines and Amari something was definitely going down and then Amari moving to block the side of the bed completely.

I know we love the other live 😉 but this live is my Roman Empire.

She told them to shut up and they listened, she told Paige she wanted to play a game and she did. Our girl really is a princess, whatever she wants she gets!

as much as we all loved to bash the Supergirl writing team I really do have to admit “I want you to know with certainty that while I came from poison, you came from love. And if the rest of this family stands steadily in darkness, you will always fall into the light.” was a really good fucking line.
