So I finally finished the short ff, it was really fun to write! I'll be writing some SK8 fics, but that's all! ๐บ๐
Here's the high quality version! ๐ฉท
It's available on the Bungo Stray Dogs Wiki!^^
I'll get straight to the point. there is this official art from bungo stray dogs that I've been looking for everywhere but I can't find a high quality version or a complete version. it's the one where all of the agency members are holding one piece of atsushis clothing. basically the art on how atsushis outfit came to be. I can't find it anywhere- well okay I can find it places but I don't know where to find the full version- so if any of you could help me out and give me a link for Pinterest or whatever then I'd appreciate it
thank you! โก
I looked into it this morning and Midnight Blue truly fits Dazai!
When Dazai was in the port mafia ('a limited spectra') he appeared black morally, and in terms of color, a bringer of death and highly intelligent. But when Odasaku displayed a more realistic gaze on him, due to Odasaku being an as-it-is person, we discover he was just trying to get close the the human nature, and see if it would give him a will to live.
Midnight Blue is composed of black and blue, the black gives it it's dark shade. In the eye of "sunlight" otherwise referenced to as the ADA, we can see the brighter aspects of him.
I think that's what Odasaku saw in him too, his blueness.
Bungou Stray Dogs character colors From the 2nd BSD Guidebook
All of their names are on the left side, with their corresponding color on the right side.
Character sheet?? For Genshin OC??? I haven't planned her story yet! But it'll follow in succession with Confession Of Memories.
I was thinking about it last night, how some people say Chuuya is a second choice, and I can see why but honestly Chuuya reeks of being a sacrifice to me. Everytime, he gives up something he wants, including himself, for the greater good โ or what Mori deems the greater good for the Port Mafia, or Yokohama.
He knows, he will never see that part of himself again after losing his friends โ or better yet, family. Constantly, Chuuya sacrifices a piece of himself in various events, with the Flags, to The Sheep; all costs him his sense of belonging. And where do you belong, when you're a sacrifice? Are you even human?
As soon as he gets comfortable with others, he begins to lose them. He's chosen to do it all, because he's the best option for it. Who is the best option to destroy yourself other than you?
'Corruption' begins to make sense even more because it's a corruption of not only his humanity but his trust too, his ability to believe these bonds will ever get to age.
I think that's another reason why being with the Port Mafia works for Chuuya, is because all his sacrifices amount to something in a way. It gives him a place to belong.
The last bit of summer in the middle of autumn.
a friendly reminder that microaggressions against asians can also look like this:
pretending to gag at asian food
pretending to be weirded out by asian customs and cultures
excusing cultural appropriation (often through ignoring the stories of asians who have been mocked for wearing their ethnic dress while praising a white person for doing so)
not trying to learn how to pronounce an asian person's ethnic name correctly, or asking, "can i call you by something else?"
adopting an asian name for the ~aesthetic~
using the words "oriental" and "exotic" to describe asian people, particular asian women
ignoring the experiences and stories of south, southeast, and central asians
making sweeping assumptions about asian countries (including their political, historical and cultural landscape)
treating the entire asian community as a monolith and ignoring the fact that the experiences of asian nationals are remarkably different from the asian diaspora/migrant community
co-opting asian aesthetics into creative media without acknowledging their history
Literary Stray Letters
Hello! Looking forward to Autumn leaves falling?
This series/collection is dedicated to the literary pieces that contribute to my characters. This month, it's for Lotte! There are three short stories for her, which are all set during the 1930s-1940s in Ghana.
The Intrusion of Ignorance
The Lover's Robe
The Gullible & The Guilty.
I craved desperately some great savage joy, no matter how immense the suffering that might ensueโฆ
