Villain failed I can understand…I just can’t accept that character is powerful and likes full of story in the beginning,but failed or dead suddenly in the end.

why ming-hua hasn’t the hands?

why she joined the red Lotus?

I’m so interested in this character,but I would never know about her backstory now.

My favorite part of the episode is White Diamond calling Steven childish because he has been acting emotional and fragile for the entire story’s arch. This portrays a really mindset that “adults” often displays: that adulthood is about being flawless and emotionless and feeling superior to everyone, that opening up emotionally is a flaw, like those parents always telling their children “don’t cry, you’re not a baby”, “why are you always so sensitive?”, “you’re not supposed to act like this”.

When White Diamond tells Steven he needs the Crystal Gems because they are inferior to him, she is actually talking about herself, her court, the Diamonds, Pink Diamond. She needs those who she considers “inferior” and “weak” so she can continue abusing them to assert her fake supremacy and perfection above everyone else. This is often how toxic adulthood works in our society.

Okay so is nobody going to point out that Ming Hua looks so gaunt probably because she was forced to consume as little food and water as possible during her imprisonment to lessen the chances that she can bend her way outta there with the water they give her?

By starving Ming Hua without letting her die, the guards had ensured that she remained in a weakened state (just enough to make dealing with her easier in case she gets any ideas), which I’m guessing has worsened over time during her imprisonment.

As for the food and water she had probably been given, it presumably wouldn’t have been enough for her to bend with to enable her to fully escape on her own.

Imagine how little that amount of food and water would be, or how dry the food would be to ensure that she drinks the water she’s given instead of taking down guards with it.

I think Zaheer and Ghazan were lucky enough to find her not giving in to dehydration and/or hunger.
