For example, I almost didn't go on the first date with my husband. That day I woke up feeling horrible, strep was going around my work so I went to my doctor to get tested. I had told him we should probably cancel. He was so nice about it, as opposed to the string of shitty dudes I went out with. I told him if the test was negative then I would go out with him still if he didn't mind me being a bit stuffy. I was so nervous waiting for him to get to the restaurant and then everything just went so well. At the end he asked if I would like to walk around town, do something else, or go meet his dog Sasha. I picked the dog lol while at his house things obviously led to some kissing and he made sure that I knew I was in control of the entire situation. We I left that night he was already texting me to make sure I got home safe and plan our next date. In one date this man made me feel more respected and wanted than my last relationship ever truly did. And I almost had canceled. I'm forever grateful I followed my gut that night and met my wonderful husband. Who since the first date has never stopped making me feel loved, wanted, respected, supported and like the center of his world.

I enjoyed this book although at times it was very information heavy. The way the story played out and the twists/turns kept me reading as well as waiting for the main characters to finally get together lol I think I enjoy thr court of thorns and roses world better but I am excited to start book 2! But my eyes need a break because out of the 800 pages in this book I read about 400 today 😂
6 years with my husband. 6 years of love, laughter, being best friends, being eachothers support, and loving each other unconditionally. I have been truly lucky to find someone who loves me as much and as hard as he does. We may bicker sometimes but we never fight because we always talk and communicate through any frustration or problem. He tells me everyday how beautiful I am and makes sure I truly feel it. I really am so content and happy with life. I'm so glad with the way life worked out and how my hard work has been paying off 🥰 it's just crazy to think how different things could have been and the small decisions that led me here.
Reading a book for a school book report right now and as soon as I'm done I'm busting open my new book that I've been waiting for all year lol
