Aokiji for Kissing Booth please :3 (first time ask omg I just had to)
Word Count: 700+
Notes: Your first time requesting, my first time writing for Aokiji. Wooh, I'll be writing for him again. His kiss had me feeling some kind of way, not gonna lie. Come and get a kiss, Skullfacedlady!
The crumbles of wafer-thin paper rustled into the jar beside your seat. The air around you began to grow unnaturally cold at a rate that raised alarms within you internally. You hastily sought out the source of the draft by gesturing your head from side to side, your silken blindfold prohibiting you from locating it more accurately.
A deep rumbled chuckle hummed in front of you, as you heard your new guest place themselves on the seat in front of you.
“Sorry, sweetheart. Sometimes I can’t control myself,” the smooth baritone hummed at you, his cadence soft and teasing, “Referring to the cold, that is.” You inquisitively cocked your head to the side at his confession and furrowed your brows beneath the material shroud.
“You’re cool?” you ask him, a soft smile forming behind your pursed lips. You jolt upright at the feeling of an icy hand gently caressing your hand, the shock at such a temperature drop shaking you and puckering your skin with each subtle touch.
“Cool as they come, baby,” he offered you with a soft hum in his flirtatious tone. You felt him lean in, his glacial radiance biting at your skin before he drew himself closer. “May I?” You nod softly, fixing your posture to sit upright as he coaxes you into himself.
His hand came up to gently cradle your face, gently smoothing over the skin at the apple of your cheek before lowering to caress your jaw. His touches felt soft, deliberate and sultry: his fingers dipping up further to touch over your lips.
The featherlight touches from his fingers were gently replaced by his lips molding and caressing your own. His lips were cooler than his fingers were, a pleasant shock to your senses as you leaned into his touch. He gently mouthed at you, sensually and slowly coaxing more of you to open up to him. A pair of glasses brushed with your silken blindfold, almost catching the seams of the material shrouding your vision.
Intertwining fingers with yours, he gently raised your hand up to his neck and held it there with his, the other finding your hip and gently tugging you in closer to him. His kiss felt as if he was savoring every moment, no action rushed as he gently romanced you with his lips.
Slowly drawing out his tongue, he switched angles and gently brushed his muscle with yours. At each moment, you truly felt like you were falling in love with his lingering touch, the coolness of his kiss had each fiber of your hair follicles standing to attention.
The lingering effects of the cold touch began to numb and swell your bruised lips. With a soft groan of disappointment, he pulled away from you and assessed your lips. Clicking his tongue, he attempted to warm your lips by placing the heel of his palm against your skin.
“Sorry, baby,” he hummed at you, chastising myself, “I find it hard to control myself around such beautiful people sometimes. Seems you’re no exception to the rule.” He pulled his hand away from your lips, witnessing the smile drawn up over your lips.
“I don’t mind,” you exhaled in a breathy pant, a puff of cool vapor exiting your parted lips with every word, “I find your inability to control yourself alluring, honestly. Makes me feel special.”
“Oh, you are special, sweetheart,” he chuckled down at you, gently giving you a chilly kiss on the cheek before retracting himself from you completely. “You’ll still be here in an hour?”
“I’ll be here for another hour or so, yes,” you nod in confirmation, a soft giggle fleeing your lips at the admittance. He mirrored your expression, reaching down and giving your hand a gentle squeeze.
“I’ll see you again on my way back then,” he uttered to you in a slow and laid-back tone. You reclined in your stool, pursing your lips to stifle your smile from rising on your cheeks further.
“Looking forward to it,” you confessed, feeling his aura retreat with him and reignite your body in the natural warmth of festival air. Your lips still tingled with the lingering numbness of his icy lips on yours, a beautiful memory and promise of what's to come swelling your cheeks in a flush of warmth in anticipation.

You were laying on the couch relaxing when your phone began to ring, the number for your building's intercom system on the screen. It was odd, you weren’t expecting any company until later today, but you shrugged it off and picked up anyway. Maybe it was a package you had forgotten about.
You should have known better.
“Hello?”
“Hey sweetheart.”
You immediately frowned as Sukuna’s voice came through the speaker, “What do you want?”
“Well I found myself in need of a little TLC and I was nearby, so…think you can patch me up?”
“Why me??” You rubbed your temples to quell the headache you knew was coming, “Can’t you go bother some other nurse?”
“Aww but you’re my favourite.”
There weren’t many options. You knew that if you hung up now he’d just call his twin brother to be let in and still come bother you. Yuji lived a few floors below you with his boyfriend Megumi, coincidentally another nurse. You’d run into Sukuna coming to visit when you were arriving home from a day shift, which unfortunately meant he’d found out where you lived.
You let out a deep sigh, “Fine.”
His reply was cut off by you buzzing him in, effectively dropping the call.
Soon enough there was a knock on the door, and you went over to open it, letting Sukuna smugly saunter into your apartment.
“You do know it’s my weekend off right?”
“Why do you think I’m here and not at the clinic?” he asked, eyes flashing knowingly.
You knew that he knew. Your coworker had texted you last night telling you that the “big sexy broody man with the tattoos” had come in asking for you, and she’d told him you had the weekend off from work. This also meant that he had gotten in a fight last night, and this morning.
“Is it like a sexual thing? Are you a masochist or something?” You wondered aloud as you went over to grab your first aid kit.
You could nearly hear the smirk in Sukuna’s voice when he replied, “I’m not, but if you’re asking after my sexual preferences I’d be happy to give you a few demonstrations.”
“Stop that. I’m just trying to figure out why you’re willingly going out and getting beaten up like every night,” You said, and brought your supplies over to the kitchen counter.
“That’s hurtful,” he came over to lean against the counter next to you, “you think I’m not winning all these fights?”
“Need I remind you that just a month ago I was relocating your shoulder?”
“Just took a hit at the wrong angle sweetheart, besides, like I told you back then, the other guy looked worse than me.”
You shook your head, “Just show me where you’re hurt so I can kick you out and go back to relaxing.”
Sukuna held out his hands for you, which you could see had blood on them - not a rare occurrence - and a few knuckles looked to be split.
“I told you I needed some TLC, so where’s that tender loving?” he crooned with a grin.
You took his hands and examined them, “Right now you’re lucky that I’m even giving you care.”
The injuries were surface level, so you didn’t have to worry about setting any breaks or sprains, and just got straight to cleaning him up.
“So, what does such a pretty nurse do on her weekend off?”
“I have some friends coming over later. We’re all going to get ready and go out to a bar,” you replied as you carefully wiped the dried blood off his hands.
“You don’t sound very excited. Need me to come along and make things more fun for you?”
You could practically hear the leer in his voice, but you chose to ignore it.
“No,” you frowned,” I’m excited…I am. I’m just tired, and going out isn’t really my thing…but we haven’t gone out together in a while because I’m always on night shift, and they really wanted to go…”
Sukuna was staring at you when you looked up at him. You couldn’t pin the expression on his face, but the scrutiny made you blush a bit so you quickly looked back down to his hands. Normally it would have taken a lot less time for you to bandage his injured knuckles, but you needed to make sure that when you were done you didn’t still have a blush on your face.
If he noticed that you were a bit slow today, he either didn’t care or didn’t comment. Knowing Sukuna, it very well could have been both. The man was probably enjoying the extra attention.
“You’re all done,” you said, stepping back once everything was clean and wrapped.
He stood, taking a look at the work and giving you a lazy grin.
“What a good job, see this is why you’re my favourite.”
He suddenly stepped closer, trapping you against the opposite counter. As had become the norm since he’d dislocated his shoulder, he gently took your chin and tilted it up so you were looking at him and leaned in close.
“Thanks sweetheart.”
It still made your heart race every time he did it, but you tried your hardest to compose yourself and slipped out of his reach.
“Alright, alright, now go,” you started pushing him toward the door, “I have a hot date with a couch in about two minutes.”
“Any chance I could get in on that?”
You closed the door in his face, but you could still hear him laughing as he walked away from your apartment.
As you threw yourself on the couch you noticed how warm you felt, and you couldn’t help but think about how nice that broad chest of his would be to lay against.
You groaned and shoved your face into a pillow.
Hours later, you’d luckily shaken off your flustered thoughts, but sadly for you, your mind had other things to worry about.
You clenched a glass of water in your hand as you looked out at the crowd, knowing your friends were somewhere on the dance floor. The outing had been fine at first, but now you were too hot and it was too loud, and there were too many people around.
You needed some space.
There was a small porch in front of the bar, so you decided to step out onto it, hoping the cool night air would do you some good.
Just as you had taken a calming breath, a body slammed into yours and you lost your balance, causing you to tumble to the sidewalk hard.
You were vaguely aware of two men fighting right next to you, but your brain was still more concerned about the initial sting of hitting concrete.
“Hey knock it off!” You heard a familiar voice shout, bringing things back into focus.
“Can’t you see there’s other people around that might get caught in your shit?! Look what you did to this girl.”
When you looked up, it was to see Sukuna standing between you and the two guys fighting, who had paused to size him up.
“Why the fuck do you think we care?”
Sukuna's only reply was a solid punch to the man’s jaw. The guy went flying to the ground, and the other one figured it was probably best for his health if he left, so he made himself scarce.
“Hey,” you heard Sukuna’s voice, much softer this time.
You looked back over to find him crouching next to you, a hint of concern in his eyes.
“You okay?”
You nodded, and winced when you tried to shakily stand. Your knee was skinned, and some bits of rock and gravel had dug into your palm and forearm, but other than that you were alright. Nevertheless, Sukuna took your good arm and pulled you up.
“Want me to take you home?”
You nodded and he led you to his car. You managed to remember that you should probably let your friends know where you went, so you sent a text telling them you weren’t feeling well and that you were heading back to your apartment.
Sukuna was quiet on the drive, hands clenching and unclenching on the steering wheel and occasionally glancing over at you. Something was bothering him, that much you could tell, but what it was, you weren’t sure. It didn’t take long to get back to your building, and then Sukuna was walking you up to your unit, keeping a hand close to your back to support you if you needed it.
You turned to him once you reached your door, “Thanks for getting me home, and helping me back there.”
“It was nothing sweetheart, I’m glad nothing else happened.”
“Yeah, anyway I should..probably..” you motioned to your door and moved to push it open.
“You’re not gonna let me come in?”
You froze, “What, why?”
“Because you’re hurt,” he said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
You gave him a dry look, “I am a nurse you know, I think I can take care of myself.”
“But you shouldn’t have to.”
His words caught you off guard. The sincerity, and the way he shoved his hands in his pockets and looked the slightest bit embarrassed.
“You’re always taking care of people…let someone take care of you this time.”
You couldn’t help but stand there in silence for a moment, weighing his words, but something tugged at your heart, and you pushed the door wider so he could come in too.
“Okay. You can come in…I’m just gonna shower first, and wash up. I’ll be out soon,” you said, and headed off to your bathroom.
You let the hot water sink into your skin as you thought about what Sukuna had said, wondering what it was he was thinking. Once you were out and changed into more comfortable clothes you returned to the kitchen. Sukuna was rummaging around the cabinets and mumbling soft curses, somehow having managed to change into sweats and a t-shirt.
“First aid kit is top left…where did you get those clothes?”
“I ran down to Yuji’s while you were in the shower,” he said over his shoulder, “Being a twin has its perks.”
He found the first aid kit and pulled it down, turning to give you a smirk.
“Come sit sweetheart,” he patted the counter in front of him.
You padded over and pushed yourself up to sit on the counter and face him. He seemed to be digging through the contents of your first aid kit.
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing?”
He shook his head and tsked at you, “I bring you home and offer to take care of you and this is how you thank me? I’ve been watching you do this for a while now, I think I have some idea of what to do.”
After pulling out what he needed, he took the arm with the scrapes on it and wiped it, being careful not to press too hard. He wrapped it in gauze, which wasn’t totally necessary as the scrapes weren’t too serious, but you simply let him continue without a word otherwise.
He cleaned the gash on your knee as well, this time picking out a bandaid and gently smoothing it over the spot.
“Almost done,” He said, getting down on his knees in front of you. He was tenderly holding your leg. Ankle in one hand and calf in the other.
“What are you doing?”
“Proving a point” he said softly, and leaned in to press his lips against the bandaid on your knee.
“Maybe you should kiss it better.”
“Why would I do that?”
“A kiss always makes it feel better.”
He looked up at you, “Better?”
You nodded and he rose, standing between your legs and leaning into your space with his hands on either side of you.
“Does it hurt anywhere else?”
His voice was low and gentle, and he was looking at you like you were the most precious thing in the world.
You took a deep breath and pointed to your face.
Then you were being kissed, soft and sweet, and Sukuna’s hands were cupping your face as if you might break into a thousand pieces if he laid one finger wrong.
Your hands gripped his shirt, tugging him closer and he obliged. His hands slid from your face and down your back until he had them under your thighs and he was tugging you closer.
“Hold onto me,” he whispered against your lips, and after you wrapped your arms around his neck he picked you up easily and walked over to your couch.
You leaned into another kiss, letting him sit down on the couch with you in his lap as you gently threaded your hands in his hair. He kept you close, kissing you tenderly until you were both out of breath and had to pull away.
Neither of you went far, not wanting to let the moment die by putting distance between you.
“So…” he murmured after a moment, “you gonna kick me out sweetheart?” His hands were on your waist, thumbs lightly stroking your ribs.
You shook your head as you traced your fingers over his cheekbones, then followed his tattoos down the line of his jaw and to where they were just barely peeking out from the neckline of his shirt. Your eyes blinked slowly, and you began to realize how tired you were.
“Hey,” Sukuna took your chin in his hand and tilted your face to look at him, “you falling asleep on me?”
“No,” you pouted, but of course your body decided that that was the perfect time to yawn.
Sukuna snorted, “Sure. C’mon, it’s bedtime.”
He easily lifted you again, and after prompting you for directions he managed to get you to your bedroom and tuck you in.
“Alright sweetheart, I’ll be on the couch if you need me,” he said, brushing your hair away from your forehead so he could place a kiss there.
Before he could move away your hand reached out and grasped his shirt.
“Stay here.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to-”
“Noo…don’t go…” You whined and tugged his shirt more, interrupting him.
He sighed and took your hand, pressing a kiss to your palm, “Okay sweetheart, okay. Just let me shower real quick and then I’ll come back, promise.”
You nodded, and he tucked you back in before going off to shower. Even though you were teetering on the edge of sleep, you desperately wanted to stay awake long enough for him to come back.
A few minutes later, he was walking back into the bedroom, turning off the light as he did. He came around to the opposite side of the bed, and you felt it dipping behind you as he got in. A strong, tattooed arm wrapped around your waist and pulled you back against his chest.
Sukuna sighed as you settled in, “You have no idea the things I’d do for you, do you sweetheart?”
He was stroking your cheek, but you were already asleep in his arms, so he simply pressed a kiss to your head, and settled in to sleep himself.
the way I need him to look at me like this he’s so adorable ahhhhhh
aone in f4!!! he deserves to be a blushing wreck <3
ya know what? He does!!!!
“We’re best friends” Tendou says as he smiles and takes a seat on Ushijima’s bunk. He’s brought some manga and some snacks and it’s the first time Ushijima hasn't felt lonely in his entire life.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says when one of the older starters asks if they’re friends one day at practice. The starting line has just been picked and Ushijima likes knowing Tendou will be right there with him as they take on the competition.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says as they cool down after the loss against Karasuno. Ushijima will continue volleyball and Tendou will not, but this is the promise that their diverging paths will not change their relationship.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says at the airport. He’s still cheerful even if his eyes are tearing up. Ushijima knows he has to go to France to chase his dream, but wishes more than anything that he could stay.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says over the phone after he tells Ushijima what he needs to do to succeed. Ushijima trusts Tendou’s thoughts as if they were his own.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says when they bring Ushijima on as a guest for his documentary. He says it too, because they are and because he’s so proud of Tendou, but lately it’s starting to feel a bit different.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says in reassurance after Ushijima kisses him and then wonders out loud if they’ll be able to temporarily handle a long distance relationship. It makes him feel warm and sticky inside and he wonders if Tendou's hands on his face are making him melt like chocolate.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says after being asked by a reporter about the engagement announcement. He’s right. They are best friends first, teammates, supporters, lovers, now fiancés.
“We’re best friends” Tendou says drowsily, and Ushijima just smiles and holds his husband closer to him as they both drift off to sleep.

Notes: I love this man I really do. I'd do anything he asked me to.

“You want me to what?”
Crocodile looked up from his papers, “I want you to accompany me to a gala so I can gather some intel.”
You paused for a moment and then pursed your lips.
“You want me to be your plus one to a party so you can spy on people.”
“Problem, darling?” Crocodile smirked.
“Not with the spying part,” you waved your hand. You’d been Crocodile’s personal assistant for several years now. You knew what to expect from your boss, and a completely honest man he was not.
“Then what’s the issue?”
“It’s a party for people like you,” you gestured to him. “Extravagant rich people who live luxury lives with fine jewelry and fine clothing…Not a party for normal people like me.”
Crocodile raised an eyebrow, “Normal people hm? Well this isn’t a request. It’s an order.”
“Why can’t you go alone?”
“Too suspicious.”
“Well can’t you just hire someone?” You protested. “I’m sure there are loads of women who’d love to hang off your arm at a fancy party for a night.”
“I don’t trust some cheap escort. I trust you,” your boss levelled you with an even gaze as he lit up a cigar.
You sighed heavily.
“This is really non-negotiable, huh?”
“Afraid so, darling.”
“Fine,” you furrowed your brow, “but I’m taking the rest of the day off to go shop for something suitable to wear.”
Crocodile huffed, a cloud of smoke floating out from his mouth.
“There’s no need for that. I’ll have something sent to your apartment this afternoon, but if you want to take the rest of the day to work up the nerve to attend the party with me then go ahead.”
You rolled your eyes at the teasing tone of his voice and simply waved as you left his office.
//
You stood by the front door, anxiously fussing over your appearance in the mirror.
Crocodile would be arriving soon to pick you up, and even if you’d spent a few hours getting ready, you still didn’t feel prepared.
You looked in the mirror, sliding your hands over non-existent wrinkles in your dress. Someone else from Crocodile’s office had dropped it off that afternoon, and you knew from the brand label on the garment bag that it was expensive. It was breathtaking. Soft, emerald coloured velvet reaching down to the floor, hugging your curves in all the right places. A long slit ran up the side, exposing your leg and the gold heels that had been delivered to you with the dress.
With your hair done up, and a bit of subtle work with your makeup, you’d never felt more extravagant. Or more unfamiliar from your own reflection.
The colour scheme of your outfit was also not lost on you, and you were certain that Crocodile had grinned smugly when picking it out.
You sighed as you examined your appearance again. Just as you were wondering if you could pretend to be ill, you heard a knock at the door.
After another deep breath, you opened it. Crocodile was standing on your doorstep, filling the entire space with his presence.
He didn’t comment on your appearance as you stepped out to meet him and closed the door, merely giving you a quick once-over and huffing his approval. He offered his arm to you, and no sooner had you taken it that you both dissolved into sand, scattering away and reforming on the grand steps of a large estate.
You brushed stray grains of sand off of you as Crocodile smirked slightly.
“I hate when you do that.”
He chuckled lowly and started walking up the stairs, “Come, we wouldn’t want to be late.”
“Sir-”
“Lose the sir.”
You looked up at your boss, who was paused on the steps ahead, looking over his shoulder at you with an expression you couldn’t place.
“You’re not my assistant tonight,” he said softly, before continuing toward the entrance.
You stood frozen on the steps for a moment as your heart clenched before hurrying to catch up with him.
As you walked through the grand doors, Crocodile tucked your hand into the crook of his elbow.
“Wouldn’t want you getting lost now would we?” He said lowly, guiding you through the main foyer.
“How in the world would I get…lost…” you trailed off as the two of you stepped into a magnificent ballroom filled with an extravagantly dressed crowd.
Men in finely cut suits and women wearing exquisite gowns and covered in jewels mingled and laughed. Several waiters weaved through the party, handing out flutes of champagne and hor d'oeuvres. Large granite pillars lined the marble-floored ballroom, and works of art hung from the walls. Across the ceiling, masterfully painted frescoes were illuminated by large chandeliers dripping in crystals.
Crocodile gave you a pointed look and began to lead you through the crowd as you looked around in awe. Somewhere along the way he managed to snag some champagne for both of you, handing you a glass as he whisked you through the crowd.
“So, is this the kind of extravagant luxury you were expecting?” He asked, sipping his champagne.
“Not quite to this scale,” you said, still taking everything in. You took a sip of your drink. “It’s…a lot.”
Crocodile chuckled, “Don’t worry, darling. Just stick with me and everything will be alright.”
As he tucked you into his side and ushered you off into the crowd, you had the feeling things would be much less simple than that.
//
You were bored.
Even with all the sights and the glamour around you, you’d lost interest in the party after the third conversation that Crocodile had toted you along for, and that was an hour ago. Needless to say, you were done mingling for the moment.
You tapped Crocodile’s bicep as you left, and he nodded without breaking his conversation. Then you drifted over to a less crowded part of the room, grabbing another flute of champagne as you went. With your back pressed against the cool, smooth marble of one of the pillars, you let out a soft sigh of relief.
Despite your outfit and date for the evening, as you gazed out at the crowd, you still felt like a stranger in a new world. A thought briefly ran through your head, of Crocodile with a date much more suited to this extravagance than you. The idea made your stomach churn. Your boss was a busy man, often with little time left for the frivolities of finding a lover, but there had been a few times when he’d ushered some finely dressed woman away to private rooms at the casino. Each time it had not failed to make some twisted jealousy curl through you, immediately followed by guilt for wanting possession over a man you had no romantic claim on.
As you sat there stewing, a space was cleared in the centre of the ballroom and a band settled on a balcony overlooking the floor. Soon after, a dark waltz was floating through the air.
You sipped your drink as you watched couples take to the floor, a presence coming up behind you your only indication that your boss had left his conversation to join you. Crocodile’s hand settled on your back as he took your empty glass, passing it off to a waiter.
“Your mother used to dance, didn't she?” his voice rumbled.
You nodded, your eyes still on the dancers spinning around the floor, “She did.”
“Did she teach you?” Crocodile asked.
“Yes, but that was a long time ago…”
Crocodile leaned in closer, his voice dropping to near a whisper. “Try to remember…for me.”
A strange feeling came over you. Perhaps it was a combination of the sultry music and the low pitch of his voice as he loomed behind you like a cloak of darkness. All you could do was nod, and let him take your hand as he pulled you out of the crowd.
The feeling of his hook settling around your waist made you look down, and you realized that it wasn’t the one he usually wore. This hook pointed outward slightly at the end, as opposed to his normal hook which followed one continuous curve.
“See something interesting?”
You glanced up, and the neutral expression on his face almost fooled you into thinking the switch was a coincidence. But Crocodile was far too cunning to not have everything worked out beforehand if he could help it, and the calculating look in his eyes told you this was no accident.
He had planned on dancing with you, so he’d chosen a different hook to ensure he wouldn’t hurt you with the sharp curved tip.
And he knew that you’d figured it out.
Not for the first time that night, words eluded you. You shook your head, and Crocodile merely hummed in response, pulling you a bit closer as he began to lead the two of you around the room.
“Are you enjoying your evening, darling?”
“I am.”
“Good. I know you were concerned about fitting in, but I knew you’d do just fine. You’re with me after all.”
You could hear the sly smile in his voice, but it didn’t stop you from briefly imagining what it would be like to be Crocodile’s lover.
It wasn’t the first time that such a thought had crossed your mind. There had been moments in the past when a brush of hands exchanging papers lasted a bit too long, or a shared look had felt a bit too intimate. Crocodile often doted on you, citing your hard work and loyalty as his reasons to send you gifts.
You’d be lying if you said you harboured no feelings for him. You kept all that tucked carefully away, though, knowing you’d surely be cast off from his side if he ever found out. And yet, in private moments, when you knew you were able to safely think about your desires, his face would cross your mind.
You could feel your cheeks burning a bit, so you focused your gaze on Crocodile’s chest, trying to keep your face from heating under his gaze.
“Mm, took you long enough to reveal yourself.”
Your head shot up, thinking you’d been found out, only to find Crocodile staring out at the crowd. You followed his gaze, seeing two men in sharp suits exchange whispers and begin to head away from the group and down a hallway.
You sighed and shook your head, your boss’ shifted attention allowing you to refocus on what your role was in his life. The song ended, and Crocodile pulled away, bringing your hand up to his lips to press a light kiss to your knuckles.
“I’ll find you when I’ve gotten what I needed, darling.”
“Yes, yes, go do something illicit,” you waved him off, deciding to go get another drink. Whether to clear your head or distract yourself, you weren’t sure.
You slid onto a stool at the bar counter, ordering a drink and taking a long sip once it was served to you.
“Get a hold of yourself,” you muttered quietly, rubbing your temple and squeezing your eyes shut. Regardless of who you were posing as tonight, you were Crocodile’s assistant, not his partner.
With a heavy sigh, you downed the rest of your drink and ordered another.
//
It had been a decent amount of time since Crocodile had gone off.
You’d remained at the bar, observing the crowd and watching for the return of your boss, but had yet to see him. You were beginning to wonder if you should go look for him when a man slid up next to you, far too close for comfort.
“Now what’s a pretty thing like you doing all alone at the bar,” the man cooed, and you cringed.
“Just having a drink and waiting for my date.” You turned away, hoping it would dissuade the stranger.
“Your date left you alone? Damn he must be stupid. I’d never leave such a beautiful woman to sit by herself. You never know who could come along and steal her away,” the man said, leaning in closer.
You leaned away, calling over the bartender to settle your tab before you were pursued further.
“Bet I could treat you better than your date.”
“Sorry, I’m not interested,” you said, trying to be polite in the face of the stranger’s inability to read your cues.
You slid off your stool, making to walk away when a hand grabbed your wrist, tugging you back toward the bar.
“C’mon, doll. Give a guy a chance won’t you?” He whispered into your ear.
His hand grazed up your arm, stopping cold when a gold hook yanked him by his tie away from you and toward the snarling expression of Sir Crocodile.
“That’s not yours,” he growled, the stranger’s eyes widening in fear and recognition.
The man struggled as he was held aloft, your boss being a good two and a half feet taller. “I’m sorry, I swear I didn’t know she was yours! I’ll leave her alone I promise! Let me go, please!”
Crocodile merely sneered, “You think begging will save you?”
You could only stand there frozen and watch. The wrath on Crocodile’s face was something you usually only saw directed at his enemies, but now it was being used in your defence.
No, not just in your defence, out of possessiveness.
The sound of the stranger continuing to plead for his life took you out of your stupor.
“Crocodile,” you hissed at your boss, watching your surroundings as people started to notice the commotion. “You’re making a scene.”
Your boss finally tore his eyes away from the vicious glare he had been sending the other man and looked down at you. He held your gaze for a few moments before exhaling and dropping the man unceremoniously. Then he stalked over to the balcony off to the side of the ballroom.
You followed hurriedly, nearly jogging to catch up to Crocodile’s long strides. When you emerged, he had already shoved a cigar between his teeth, though he was still frowning as you set your hands on the railing next to him.
The night air was cool, and you tried to take a few deep breaths to calm your racing heart, but all you could focus on was your boss fumbling with his lighter next to you and mumbling curses under his breath. He was angry, and anger made him unfocused.
You sighed and turned to him, grabbing a hold of his collar and yanking him down a bit so you could reach his face. You took the lighter from his hand, feeling him watch your every move as you easily struck it up and held it to his cigar.
Crocodile’s eyes met yours as the cigar lit, and he held your gaze as he took the first long inhale before straightening up and tilting his head slightly to exhale a cloud of smoke.
He grunted out a thank you, and you nodded. You let him smoke in silence for a while, allowing the nicotine to settle into his lungs and ease his tension. Once you’d decided he’d calmed down enough, you looked up at him.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“No.”
“Well too bad,” You said, frowning at him a bit. “What was that back there?”
“He had no right touching you,” Crocodile muttered around his cigar.
“And that gives you warrant to end his life?” You asked, frustration and confusion tinting your voice.
“It does because you’re mine, and nobody touches my things,” he growled, turning his gaze to you.
The fire in his eyes should have been frightening, instead it only made a flicker of heat go through you.
Crocodile reached out, grabbing your cheeks with his hand. “Sometimes I wonder whether you are truly human, or whether the gods sent you to me as punishment for the deeds I’ve done.” He tilted your face back and forth, examining you. “You bring out a weakness in me I am unable to control. A primal desire to claim you and let no one else have you.”
At this point, you were sure your cheeks were red, and eyes wide from the confession.
“Such a pretty thing, so loyal,” Crocodile murmured, “Forgive me for wanting to keep you all to myself, darling…I’m only a man, and a selfish one at that.”
“Sir,” you whimpered softly, “What does all this mean?”
Crocodile released your face with a sigh and took another puff from his cigar. “It means that I need to face the feelings I’ve been so desperate to quell and ask politely if you’d allow me to court you.”
You stood there in shock, your mind unable to comprehend that your deepest desires were being offered to you freely.
“You…you want to court me?”
“Yes. I want to spoil you in any way that I can and give you everything you want,” Crocodile said earnestly. “I understand this is out of the blue, you can have some time to consider my offer if-”
“Yes.”
Crocodile’s hand paused midway to his mouth, the cigar nearly slipping from his fingers.
“Yes. I want that…I want you,” you said softly, reaching out and gently tracing your fingers across his jaw.
The man let out a pleased hum, stubbing his cigar out and tucking you into his side. “Good. Then let’s leave this stuffy party and go somewhere private. I need a drink, and to properly explain my intentions to you.”
As he whisked you through the ballroom and out of the building, you bit back a smile, content at how he held you closer than he had before, and excited for what was to come.
YES PLEASE!!
"Is there someone special in your life?" The reporter asked chirpily, not really expecting an answer from the infamously emotionally detached Ushijima Wakatoshi sitting across from her. She was already scribbling an 'X' next to the question on her sheet, fitting in with the series of crosses and one-word answers she had accumulated throughout the entire interview.
But a look she couldn't describe crossed Ushijima's face as he considered the question.
"Yes there is." He replies simply.
The reporter stills, her pen stuck in her hand. It was still quiet in the room but Ushijima could suddenly feel more eyes staring at him than before. He shifted in his seat.
"Oh? What's her name?"
Ushijima looks directly at the camera facing him, imagining his special someone watching him back excitedly, and it almost makes him smile. He relaxes slightly in his chair.
"His name is Tendou Satori."
And all Hell breaks loose.
----
Or, the one in which Tendou tries to explain to Ushijima that a "special someone" means the person you're in a romantic relationship with. And not,,, you know,,, your best friend.
Ushijima does not understand.

Notes: Just really needed soft Paulie in my life so this is short and sweet
//
The sound of your alarm woke you from a peaceful sleep.
Your eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the sunlight streaming in through the crack of the bedroom curtains. You reached over, silencing the alarm and taking a few moments to fully wake.
With a yawn, you made to get out of bed, but strong arms caught you, pulling you back in. A scruffy chin settled in the crook of your neck.
“Paulie, baby, I have to get up for work,” you said softly, trying to maneuver out of his hold.
His arms tightened around you. “‘S the weekend, we got the weekend off,” he mumbled groggily.
“It might be the weekend for you, but I still work a half-day today, remember?” You squirmed a bit, your efforts futile against your boyfriend’s arms. “After today I have the weekend off. Just need to go to work this morning and I’ll be back in the afternoon, I promise.”
It felt like Paulie was pulling you further and further into the bed, so you shifted, turning to face the man. Your eyes softened at the sight.
Paulie’s eyes weren’t even open, his barely conscious self moving mostly on autopilot to try and keep you with him. His blonde hair was messy, and his lips parted slightly, with a bit of drool escaping the corner.
Paulie had never been a morning person, usually needing at least two strong cups of coffee before he was ready for work. Since you usually started before he did, you’d prepare it for him, leaving the first mug steaming on the bedside table for him, and the rest sitting in the coffee pot for when he dragged himself out of bed. You’d always press a kiss to his lips before you left, your lover barely stirring when you did. With both of you being promised some time off, though, it seemed he wanted to make up for all the mornings he hadn’t been able to spend waking up with you.
“Just a few more minutes, angel, then you can go. You’ve got a few more minutes for me, right?” He mumbled, blonde eyelashes fluttering as they desperately fought to open up.
You didn’t have the heart to say no.
“Okay…yeah I can stay for a few more minutes,” you murmured, unable to stop a small smile from growing.
Paulie bundled you back into his arms, settling with a deep exhale. You felt a warmth in your chest, and suddenly found yourself wishing that you didn’t have to work a half day today.
If you were smiling and blushing while you ran into work just at the right time, nobody needed to know the reason. You knew you had the next two days to look forward to, with the luxury of lazy mornings with Paulie.
sukuna x nurse!reader
contents: modern au, f!reader, sukuna is just a guy™️, he keeps getting in fights and coming to the clinic you work at so you can patch him up, some swearing, shoulder relocation (not graphic but it happens)
a/n: i do not know enough about walk-in clinics or joint relocations to be writing this but i hope y'all enjoy (also i have a follow up blurb ready if people want to read that)
//
When you checked the patient walk-in list you tried not to grit your teeth upon seeing the name that was next in line.
You stepped out from behind the desk and into the reception area.
“Ryomen Sukuna?”
It was easy to spot the tattooed man, who smirked slightly when he stood.
“Please follow me.”
He followed as you led him back into the clinic and into a treatment room.
You closed the door and turned around with a frown, “Alright you asshole, what did you do this time?”
He fake gasped, “You need to work on your bedside manner, Miss Nurse. Aren’t you happy to see me sweetheart?”
“No I am not! Don’t you know I have patients to tend to?”
“Yeah, and I’m one of them,” He had a lazy grin as he leaned against the bed. You could see that he had a cut on his forehead with a bruise blooming underneath it. He was cradling his arm as if trying to hold it in place, and his lip was split. To top it off, there was blood on his knuckles too.
He’d obviously been in a fight, just like all the other late nights he’d come into the clinic.
You sighed heavily, “Other than what I can see, what’s wrong?”
“I dislocated my shoulder,” he nodded his head at the arm he was cradling, “but don’t worry, the other guy looks worse.”
You shook your head, “Sit, and I hope that fight was worth it because this is going to hurt.”
He sat and you moved over to his injured side. Even sitting on the table he was taller than you and his broad shoulders made you feel smaller than you were. You took his arm as gently as you could, ignoring his comment about you treating him so well, and manoeuvred it into position. With one push, you popped it up and back into the socket.
“Fuck!” Sukuna barked out a curse at the pain, and you gave him a pointed look.
He inhaled through his teeth as you wrapped up his arm in a sling.
After gently securing the sling with a knot at his wrist, you looked up to find him watching you, still grimacing a bit but clearly trying to play it off, “Damn sweetheart, what else can you do with those hands?”
You chose to roll your eyes and not comment. You did feel bad for him for having to go through the pain of relocating a joint, so you let it slide. Instead, you gathered some more minor supplies to tend to the rest of his injuries.
The blood on his knuckles wasn’t his, so it was the easiest to fix with a gentle rub of a disinfecting wipe. The cuts were also relatively simple to deal with, and didn’t even require stitches. You cleaned everything and grabbed a small ice pack for the bruise that was now fully settled on his forehead.
When you were done you took a small step back to survey him, “Does it hurt anywhere else?”
“Yeah right here,” he pointed to his face, “maybe you should kiss it better.”
“Why would I do that?” You scoffed and turned to dispose of the trash from your used supplies.
“A kiss always makes it feel better.”
He was grinning at you when you looked back at him, though it was a much less smug expression than he usually had. You wondered if the late hour or the pain was making him a little softer.
“That’s not a service we provide at this clinic,” you said, voice soft and trying to hold back a blush as you opened the door to the treatment room, “You’re all set to go Sukuna.”
“You mean you don’t want me to stay?”
“Sukuna.”
“Fine, fine, you’re a busy lady, with people to help. I get it,” he stood and walked toward the door, but paused in the doorway.
You felt the fingers of his good hand tilt your chin up so you were looking at him, and he leaned down to get close to your face. You felt your breathing stop.
“Thanks for taking such good care of me sweetheart,” Sukuna murmured, low and soft and right next to your lips. Then he was heading back toward the reception area.
You watched him until he turned the corner and was out of sight, and then you stepped back in the treatment room. You closed the door, even if you only had to quickly sanitize the place he had been sitting before the next patient came in, but you needed a moment to compose yourself.
It felt like your heart was going to beat out of your chest. Sure you usually had to get close to him when you treated him, but this had felt different. He’d been a bit sweeter than usual tonight, some of his normal swagger put aside.
You couldn’t deny that you found him attractive, but normally it was easier to brush aside your thoughts and focus on your work. Now, you weren’t so sure.
What you did know was that you were, against your better judgement, looking forward to seeing him the next time he came into the clinic.
Oh my lord y’all we’re about to be fed real good

Hhhhhh I’m in love with this man I want to be DOMESTIC with him
✩ ‧₊˚ ✩。SPRING — NANAMI KENTO.
contents. domesticity with nanami after moving in together. aka brushing your teeth. aka staring at him shamelessly as he does mundane tasks. (me writing someone other than gojo or geto ???? whatttttt :O)
it doesn’t hit you that you and kento now live together until the the morning after the first night.
it’s spring. there are flowers you want to keep in your balcony sitting in your living room, the box labeled dishes is half empty from only what you took out for dinner, and you aren’t quite sure where your clothing box is because you forgot to label it. but kento is handsome next to you in the bathroom, shirtless as he brushes his teeth.
there are two sinks—one for you and one for him, but you opt for brushing your hip against his and sharing one. he doesn’t say anything, just scoots a little to the side and rinses his mouth as he makes room for you.
“please stop staring,” he mumbles tiredly, “it’s getting awkward.”
“you look handsome,” you pout, “i can’t admire you?”
“i’m brushing my teeth,” he deadpans.
“yes, a very handsome sight. i love seeing your care for dental hygiene.”
kento sighs, grabbing the small towel from the side and patting his face dry as you lean down and spit, rinsing your own mouth and plopping your toothbrush back in place. next to his.
and your face wash is beside his too, and so is your shampoo and body wash in the shower. you step to the side, bumping hips with him again as you grin—it’s ecstatic, the expression on your face.
“kento, i just realized something,” you murmur, leaning to press a kiss to his jaw. it’s smooth, the feeling of his skin under your lips—you watched him shave earlier, sat on the counter and swung your legs as he carefully ran the razor along his skin.
“and what’s that?” he asks, patting your face with the towel, gently wiping away the droplets of water with extra care.
“we live together now—and i can watch you brush your teeth every day,” you grin.
“we shared a bed last night,” he raises a brow, “i’m sure you realized a bit before this that we now share a living space.”
wrong.
your home isn’t put together yet—you couldn’t find your pajamas last night, so you wear kento’s. the coffee machine still hasn’t been taken out and plugged in yet, and breakfast is currently limited to cereal and fruit that doesn’t need to be cut until the kitchen utensils have been organized. your couch hasn’t arrived yet, and your bed is currently just a mattress on the floor until the bed frame is delivered.
it doesn’t really dawn on you that you and kento are living together until you wake up with his chest under your cheek and his breath fanning against your forehead. sure, you and kento have spent nights at each other’s apartments—but that always results in one rising before the other to leave early and make up for the extra distance in the commute to work.
today, however, you and kento are home together. it’s spring—you can hear cicadas calling and see the buds blooming in the plants outside. there are flowers waiting to be potted in your balcony, and fresh strawberries of the season waiting for you in the kitchen.
and when you watch kento take his time and brush his teeth, hip accidentally bumping against yours as he leans down to rinse his mouth, you realize your home is with kento now.
you grin, wrapping your arms around his neck, “well, we’ve shared a bed before,” you kiss delicately at the slant of his jaw again, “but i’ve never seen you shirtless and brushing your teeth.”
“this new obsession is scaring me,” he mumbles, “what’s so special about me brushing my teeth?”
“oh, kento,” you grin, warm and bright and as fresh as the first breeze of spring, “it’s certainly a sight. you just have to see it.”
he hums, shaking his head gently as he chuckles in that soft, calm little way that he does. his arms find your waist.
your bathroom, even with missing shower curtains, feels like it’s always been yours. it feels natural, living with kento, it feels natural sharing a towel to wipe your face and leaving the door unlocked for the other to come in as you prepare for the morning.
“i have my own sight,” he murmurs, tracing your cheek as his hand cups your face, “you look lovely when you drool in your sleep.”
“kento,” you whine with a pout, “don’t watch me sleep.”
“how could i not?” he grins, brown eyes bordering on hazel as they brighten, “it’s the best new part of my mornings.”
he kisses you there, in the bathroom you still have to finish setting up, the tiles cool beneath your feet and his lips warm against your mouth.
it’s spring when you move in with kento—and you have a newfound appreciation for the season.
guess who wants to brush her teeth in the mornings with nanamin. it might be me. it might be my undying need for domesticity. it might be my deep desire to witness him spit. it might be both. i haven’t decided yet
