Opportunities in life are rare, and when destruction strikes, they can feel like they’ve vanished. But I believe that with strong willpower and support, we can create new opportunities even from the ashes. My name is Osama Basil, and I’m a web developer from Gaza. For nearly a year, I’ve been living through the horrors of war. My office, where I poured my heart into my work, was demolished, and with it, my livelihood, dreams, and ability to provide for my family were shattered.

Each day, life in Gaza becomes increasingly harsh. Destruction and devastation have woven themselves into the fabric of our daily existence, leaving deep scars on our community. The loss of so many friends, colleagues, neighbors, and loved ones weighs heavily on our hearts. Despite these overwhelming challenges, I refuse to give up.

The war took nearly everything from me—my job, my dreams of marriage, the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree, and my ability to support my family. Forced to flee to Rafah with my loved ones, we’ve spent months living in a tent, facing daily challenges to meet our basic needs and find some sense of stability amid the chaos. The lack of stability has made it difficult to maintain even the simplest routines, yet I refuse to let these hardships define me. Every day is a test of resilience, pushing me to adapt and find new ways to continue my work and provide for my family, no matter the obstacles.

Since the outbreak of the war on the seventh of October we have been evacuating .‎‏Then the journey of suffering and separation began,because my children were separated and evacuated from our home without covering or clothes., From here they became infected with diseases, and what increased our fatigue was the constant upbringing due to the different areas in which we were displaced, as we were displaced 9 times, and this was very expensive, the last of which was the 9th of this August from Hamad Town. In addition to that, we have lived in the summer season in a tent that did not exceed three meters, closed with nylon, so it is like an agricultural greenhouse atmosphere. It is very hot. All in all, we live difficult days that no human beings can affordWe have no work because of the war, and we do not have any kind of money and this is accompanied by a crazy and horrible rise in prices.Although water is not suitable for drinking, this is the cause of many diseasesThe last suffering is that we are out of Hamad without taking our purposes or our tents and now we are searching the earth in the roads and our children and our elderly parents are suffering..So we use direct donation including what they can or share links fully so people can know our tragedy and pain. This is my new gofundme campaign. I had an old campaign but on another site called gogetfunding, but the donations were very slow. I collected $2,000 in 50 days or more, so I decided to start a new campaign on the famous site gofundme.

The goal now is to evacuate my family from the war, and the first person who will be evacuated is me so that I can register at a university in Egypt to study medicine before registration ends. I’m Noha Ayyad from Gaza, Mother of martyr and wife of martyr 💔

17 people of My family was forcibly displaced from their homes to the southern Gaza Strip, and they now live in samall tent , The occupation completely destroyed our house and our business and we no longer have anything that we used to own.

MY mother suffers from joint pain and back cartilage pain. Also, she had surgery before the war to remove a tumor in the intestine 💔!!️ and she needs to continue her treatment from cancer

As for my middle brother, Darwish,He has a family of 10 people, he is paralyzed in his right leg, he suffers from severe leg pain.  Two months before the war, he had surgery in Egypt to implant a joint in his leg, and he was supposed to return to Egypt to continue his treatment, but the war prevented him from doing so, so he urgently needs to go to Egypt to continue his treatment.

As for me, I lost my small and beautiful family in the 2014 war, which consists of my husband and my only child, whom I gave birth to after 7 years of deadly waiting and a very long and expensive treatment journey. He was only two and a half years old. I lost him and did not hug him enough to forget the agony of waiting for him to come. I also suffered injuries, which resulted in several operations on my right leg and other parts of my body, the effects of which I still suffer to this day. So, I don't want to experience what it's like to lose someone I love again. It's a very painful feeling. Please save my family.

Life here is unbearable, especially tent life is very difficult, and the situation is getting worse every day.

As You have commanded us. You said, ‘Call on me and I will respond to you’. We have responded to Your command and we have responded to You. Accept it from us and grant what you have promised. Ya Allah, we raise our hands towards You and ask You to be with our brothers and sisters and all those who are suffering. Give them victory, cure them, and put tranquility and patience in their hearts. Give them peace, increase their provision. Ya Allah, place light in our hearts and in the hearts of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Strengthen our ranks.
