Where are we going, 911?
I just watched 8x16 and honestly, more than feeling angry about the writers' decisions, I feel disorientated and confused. I don't know what to expect for next season if they just killed one of the OGs. The amount of important things that developed off screen (Ex. how Eddie find it out, the airport scene, Buck's grief towards his father figure) the emotionless Buck, the Cameron baby plotline to smash any theory about Bobby being alive, the fact that he died after fighting suicidial tendencies for his whole life (Bobby didn. I was expecting something more emotional, I wanted to see how his death impacted the rest of the 118. I saw tears from them but it barely moved me (Chimney had the only acceptable crashout from all of them and I know that this is not the actors/actresses' fault, but I needed to mention it), and so many other details about the people the audience do care about (Why do writers think we care about damn Gerard? We don't).
I'm really trying to find any sense to this... Everything feels so out of place, and I think that's worse than actually hating the show: Feeling like you don't know it anymore.
For my well being, I'm gonna stop expecting for Bobby to be alive somewhere. Most part of the fandom is really upset and disappointed about this plot, and it's making the show losing loyal viewers that already had to deal with the lack of consistency of some characters' narrative and interactions and the lack of realism (something that as fans just intentionally ignore most of the time because the show was still good for other reasons). Besides, let's not forget about the fact that most people still watch 911 because of Buddie.
Now, I hardly see Buddie go canon at this point. For me, it would feel like putting a band aid on a bullet hole to try to stop the bleeding. Will I be happy when it happen? I'm sad to think that maybe not at all, because Buddie canon was something I was looking forward with so much joy, but I don't think I'll be able to enjoy it as I thought I would because my 118 team is never going to be the same anymore. Buddie was suppose to mean something for them as well, especially for Bobby ffs, how are we suppose to ignore that? Bobby was such an important figure for both Buck and Eddie, of course what he would think or react about it matter for the plot, at least for me.
I'm gonna continue watching the show, but I'm not gonna expect anything from it anymore. Bobby's death took away most of my excitement about 911 because it shows that anything can happen for the worst.
2 weeks. 2 weeks time jump, they skip 2 weeks.
we got like 30 something minutes of this unknown woman that we never heard of before we got her pass, (which, by the way, I think that's like a clue as to say that Bobby is not really dead I'm been delusional but who cares) but the funeral is literally a subplot. really? Bffr
why is Buck not at the burial, like we've made it clear , this has been canon already that buck is literally the adopted child. may have said it, she has said it multiple times she even have said it about to Bobby's face. Athena has said it, like, why is he not at the burial.
And Eddie, flew in the day of.... Right right

the reason bobby died is because buck wasn’t sent to super mega turbo hell after coming out and tim minear needed to appease the god of procedural tv so he killed bobby for the sins of his son, obviously

Gonna be so real, gang, I kinda expected Eddie to only get three seconds of screen time but it’s kinda wild that we got a time skip and pretty much everything revolving his immediate, acute grief happened off-screen.
Actually the time skip was the worst decision of the episode tbh. Like, I’m more than fine spending most of the immediate fallout from Bobby’s death with Athena (never gonna complain about more Angela Basset on my screen), but the idea that we hardly see any of the main character’s reckoning with the loss besides Athena and Chim? Thank god we got SOME Hen in the end but fuck man. Why did we jump ahead two weeks? Why did we spend so much time on what should’ve been a B-plot? How is Bobby dead but still had more screen time than other main characters but also got a janky montage as a funeral rather than an entire episode grieving his death? Literally what. Was any of that?
And the stoic Buck of it all? Yeah, people who called that they’re setting him up for captain were right and truly I hate that with my whole heart. For seasons, so much of Buck’s character growth has been routed in realizing that he can’t always be “the guy who fixes things” and how he can’t be everything to everybody and more importantly that he doesn’t NEED to be to still be loved and accepted. And now they’re setting him up to the center point of the 118, the figure that every other firefighter looks to—listens to, follows through literal flames. Literally making him become everything to everyone. The guy whose job it is to fix everything.
Take that with the implication that Bobby was right to think LA was not his real home; just his penance, his borrowed time (burying him with his “real family” in Minnesota)—even after he insisted on his last words that he found a will to live and a new family instead? I just—
It’s like they’re undoing years of character development. And for what? For shock value and “creative decisions”? The characters are no longer three dimensional fixtures in an expansive work of art exploring joy, despair, hope, grief, and the tumultuous lives of first responders. They’re glorified baby dolls being smashed into trauma after trauma—as if the showrunners got tired of telling interesting stories and instead now chasing dopamine rushes with the next big emergency they can torture their toys with.
And I’m expected to watch season 9? Hell, the rest of this season? How? The creative minds behind the show clearly don’t care much for the characters, so why should I?
(Great acting by Kenneth Choi and Angela Bassett though. Phenomenal what pros can do even with shitty scripts.)
I do love the promo revealing he gets out. The show saying yeah we know that you know if she's hurt prison don't mean shit to him
btw if this is actually dobby for real and forever then I'm beyond pissed that we didn't get an open casket everyone can go say their goodbyes scene. I know I know contagious yadayada who fucking cares. either handwave it or murk him on a different emergency. ffs

Wtf???? That was the MOST depressing episode I have ever seen! I love this show because it goes from exciting to sad to funny. NOTHING about that was exciting or funny or heartwarming. A definitely dead Bobby AND a dead baby! WTH! Also blink and you miss it Eddie? This is Oliver’s favorite episode of all time? Is he high?? I swear I love this show but if Buddie doesn’t happen in the next two episodes I may not watch next season! I have enough depression in my life that I don’t need to see it on tv!!

What do you mean only Athena? And the kids went to Minnesota to put Bobby in the ground. You’re telling me that Buck did not go with them. The child he brought into the marriage. You’re telling me that hen was not there to comfort her best friend. You’re telling me that some strangers had to carry Bobby to his final resting place and not his team. This episode should’ve only been about the funeral. And Eddie should’ve been there at the beginning. 
The way I was SO convinced there would be at least the start of Bobby not being dead after all this episode that I spent the whole time waiting for it to the very last seconds and when it didn't come, I could not fathom it😭 the way I'm lowkey still holding out a little tiny bit of hope👀🤭 this episode really crumbled my unwavering confidence though...🥺 Like I might actually have to start accepting he might be dead fr😭💔
Okay crazy theory that I doubt will happen but it did I called it. The season ends with Gabi either killing herself or letting Lena kill her. Sir doesn't follow her into death however as he blames her family for self hatred to the point of death and not saving her so he now is determined to break them but not by just killing them as that would to easy. That is how in season 3 we will be able to get more of Dahn and Zeke flashbacks as sir will play with their traumas. Obviously I don't want Gabi to die as she is my favorite character and I would be devastated but this would be interesting to see play out.
(Edit: Another way they could do this is if Gabi is put in a coma either from Lena or from a failed suicide attempt. Sir would be just as pissed)
Okay, I know Hassan, Lizzie, and Robyn's favorite DW episode was "Blink" primarily because they are caricatures of real fans, but I think they also loved it because the main character of that adventure was like them.
In "Blink", the hero is a character who only exists in that one episode, survives the monster of the week, and gets a surname! Sally Sparrow is everything they wished they could be as one-off Doctor Who characters.
I'm not ever getting over Sir in his feverish state he responds to Gabi saying swallow with "Did I do good Mommy?" Listen I know at the the time he was having flashbacks but I don't care I'm deranged
Eddie Diaz would have screamed that it wasn’t fair and begged Cap to let him find a way to fix this.
Eddie Diaz may have realized something was wrong sooner.
Eddie Diaz would have assured Cap that he would take care of the 118.
Eddie Diaz would have held Evan Buckley while he sobbed because his only good father figure was dying only feet away.
Eddie Diaz would’ve known and could have said final words to Bobby.
If they really are killing off Bobby, Eddie Diaz deserved to be there to say goodbye.
Does anyone think that them using “Work Song” by Hozier, is a sign?
The lyrics literally say:
“When my time comes around, lay me gently in the cold, dark Earth. No grave can hold my body down, I’ll crawl home to her.”
I mean it could just be a sad song choice or…

I don't care what anyone says. Bobby Nash is not dead. There is no way they would've teased it for months with leaks in a joking manor. I don't know how, but he is alive. Killing Bobby would be so stupid and besides they wouldn't even kill Owen on Lone Star so there is no way he's dead.
FOUND Season 2: Missed Opportunity
So, my mom had a theory during the early episodes of this season of the show Found. It was so good that I wish I could have shot it to the writer’s room to run with it. She basically suggested that Lacey’s mom was Sir’s accomplice all along. Like, chick was bat💩 crazy this entire time and helping him because she is in love with him. It would explain why he could move so seamlessly in and out of that baby’s room after their escape. She could also be crazy jealous of Gabi and secretly plotting her downfall because Sir will never love her the way he loves Gabi. I hate to pit us against each other but this would have been too good. Oh yeah, and did I mention that Sir is actually Lacey’s biological father in this scenario? (BOOM 🎤 drop)
It would explain why he took her originally and why her mom never really seemed all that shook about it. It would also explain why he let her live the second time around. His sister being the accomplice doesn’t explain how Sir had so much inside information about the agency before she was introduced on the show. He had their files like he had a man/woman on the inside. Lacey’s mom being the accomplice would explain that. It also would be a very interesting arc for Lacey to have to navigate. She would be utterly destroyed and the actress would really have some serious trauma to navigate in that role. Perhaps even question her own morality with Sir as her father. So juicy.
But alas, opportunity missed.
I'm worried about Gabi!!! I need her to talk to somebody especially since facing Lena while she wants to die and Lena wants to kill her isn't a good combo. As much as I can't stand Ethan she was finally gonna talk to someone before getting cut off and knowing her she won't take a break from the case to get help. I hope she does though cause she needs to talk to someone.
I really hope they tell Trent. I get wanting to wait for evidence but he's slept with this women I feel like he deserves to know who she really is and that she is taking advantage of him.

Rewatching found and I got thoughts
I'm leaning more into my trents dad is sirs dad theory
Also something not a theory but a bit I started with a friend is suggesting Gabi should have just gone outside when he escaped with a book and a case file and called for him like a dog. He would have come back just throw in a couple I need yous and we are partners and he would have come back like a lost puppy and she could have chained him up. Me and said friend may have started saying "come here sir" like you would call a dog whenever they were trying to find him.
The final thought we had is the headshot photo they used in the press conferences like who took it. Every other time it's the age progression photo and the photo was what he looked like outside the basement. Probably just a plot hole but me and my friend decided for cannon sake Gabi did a photoshoot with sir after she shaved him.
We are getting well fed with sir scenes this episode and I am here for it!!!
I've slept on my thoughts for the episode.
1. I think who ever took Jamie is a women based on their build. Maybe Heather/Lena would explain why Jamie is so obsessed with getting information on Gabi. Margaret has also not interacted with her yet so she might have known her back then and we just don't know that.
2. Ethan needs to die!!! I hate that man so much. Like you admitted the only reason your helping someone who very clearly needs help is because you want to study them like fuck off!!!
3. Am I the only one who is loving Gabi being obsessed with Sir too. Like her hallucinating him agian. Aaaaaah!!!
4. Lacey channel Sir and get your man's back and get rid of shelly. She was obsessing the entire episode and I love that for her.
5."Bubba's bitch in cell block k" is my favorite quote from episode. Love me some Gabi going off on the suspects.
6. Sir getting himself beat up so Gabi comes and sees him because he's hurt is funny af and the way he pouted when it didn't 🤣. Also Gabi was ready to come see him anyway and she didn't even now about him getting beat up so honestly it probably would have worked.
Final thought how dare they make me wait 2 weeks.
Okay might be completely wrong here but I think it may actually be Jamie and his father took him.
1. The father didn't seem that upset about his son going missing
2. He would have had access to the train toy and would have known it was one of Jamie's favorite toys
3. Jamie doesn't want to see his father
4. Jamie isn't telling Margaret what happend because it's his father I think both for her and for his sake
5. The father ends up with the other kids as well because of how distraught Margaret becomes so no reason to take them
I could be completely wrong about him being really Jamie but I'm starting get the feeling it might actually be because how everyone is doubting it hell even Margaret is starting to get there. If I am wrong Jamie is definitely an Evens.
