So I fixed Sonic Adventure 2 Battle’s logo.
You must have acquired all the jewel badges from the race before secret challengers like the silver and gold chao appear!
In the Dreamcast version you must have all stats around 900 - 998 for silver chao to appear and all stats 999 for gold.

Also thank you ZipoCXG for the new Fact Friday logo!
Which garden do you recommend in each game? thanks :)
Wow my first Ask is a big one OuOBut I’ll try to explain the best way I can~
Lets start the list off with the 3 SADX gardens:
#1 Station Square Garden• This garden is convenient, as it is close to the market and the Chao races• Perfectly sized, with a very appealing layout• Easily accessible by all of the characters- Smallest garden, feels crowded at maximum capacity (8 Chao)
#2 Egg Carrier Garden• Largest garden, never feels crowded, even when the garden is full (8 Chao)• Very tranquil, and has a relaxing atmosphere• Features a large amount of water for Chao to swim in, and a silo for climbing and flying practice- Isn’t easily accessible, and is found towards the end of the game’s story mode
#3 Mystic Ruins Garden• Medium in size, and very easily accessible by all of the characters• Has a beautiful day and night cycle during the story mode• This garden includes platforms for Chao to climb on, which can be entertaining. - Tends to feel crowded at maximum capacity (8 Chao)- Is the most bland of the 3 gardens (in my opinion)
Now then, let’s move on to the game that got me hooked on the Sonic franchise, SA2B:
#1 Chao Garden• This garden is convenient, and is directly attached to the Chao Races and Chao Karate• This Garden also has the most slots for tree seeds (4) and this can lead to faster level growth (stamina)• Along with the Races comes the prizes, and this garden has the most possible slots for garden toys (3 in Total, TV, Jack-In-The-Box, and a Ball)- Smallest garden, tends to feel crowded at maximum capacity (8 Chao)- Boring background (Non-animated ocean/sea)
#1 Hero Garden [Nope that’s not a typo, you read that right. Even with fewer Tree Seed slots and one less Toy, Hero Garden is at a tie with Chao Garden in my books ]• This is the largest garden, as such, it never feels crowded, even when the garden is full (8 Chao) Making raising multiple Chao a breeze• Beautiful background music and setting, this garden will keep your interest - Isn’t easily accessible, requires the evolution of a Chao into the Hero type (Affection with: Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles)
#2 Dark Garden• Slightly bigger than the Chao Garden, with a decent amount of space• Has a very ominous background that is visually appealing, along with a catchy soundtrack, this garden will keep you entertained, making Chao raising easier-Isn’t easily accessible, requires the evolution of a Chao into the Dark type (Affection with: Shadow, Rouge, or Eggman)
There are a few Minor differences between the Gamecube and Original Dreamcast versions, here I’ll go over them, but my ranking system is still nearly the same. And to my knowledge, the Dreamcast version of sonic adventure has NO differences in garden functionalities then it does in the DX version. So I’ll only be discussing Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast):
Unlike its Re-made counterpart, the Dark Garden in the Dreamcast game has an amazing amount of space. And an all-around more sinister feel to it, with a very foreboding hill/mountain that adds to the atmosphere of the area. An extended pool of blood also flows into a roomy cave. The Dreamcast version ironically has more perks than the newer edition does.(I often wonder why they changed it in the first place?)
As for Hero Garden, not much has changed, aside from the pillars being arranged differently. A few other changes include the addition of a bridge and river/canal.
I Hope that I answered your question fully~ 💎
