People post Greece as an aesthetic whether it's our mythology or our beautiful islands. Now we need you more than ever. Our country is literally burning, we have no help, no resources and new fire fronts are developing each hour and heading towards villages. People and animals are in danger. The fires are not going out and it's windy. Please share this, spread awareness. Greece is always first to send help when other European countries are in need of help. Please share.
It's Trans Day of Visibility 🥳 Being seen is a wonderful thing in lots of ways, and it's good to celebrate that!
But it's not always safe to put yourself out there, and sometimes you'd just rather keep your head down. So, for anyone who needs to hear this:
You don't owe it to anyone to be out about your transness
"Out" is not a binary - you can be be out in some circumstances and closeted in others and that's OK
However "out" you are, you're still trans
However "out" you are, you're no less a member of our community
You don't need a better reason to wait than, "I don't want to come out yet"
I love you
i haven`t seen people spread this on tumblr, so
https://mariupol.is/stories/
here is the link to the online archive dedicated to life stories of mariupol siege survivors.
if you are a foreigner, i would highly encourage you to spread it and read them yourself. as a ukrainian, i hear those stories every day, be it through opening my social media account or through talking to my friends and acquaintances.
for foreigners the situation is a bit different: you hear most of the information about mariupol from news and, therefore, tend to get a more polished, purely informative read. but by reading just those articles, it`s easy to forget that stories behind them are those of real people. and it`s much harder to feel as emotionally distanced when you actually see a person whose leg was torn into pieces, instead of just hearing that those people exist.
which is why i think such projects are valuable. and which is why i would like for them to be more known.
Transphobes always want to talk abouthow hrt or puberty blockers will cause"irreversible changes" to trans kids bodies and "kids aren't old enough to make that decision" Meanwhile, I know 3 people who've ended up permanently disabled or dead because of high school (or earlier) sports but no one's fear mongering about that.
And I gotta say I was much more informed about the "risks" of hrt then I ever was about the risks of any of the sports I played.
Why do i do this ....I'll just randomly sketch stuff in the night hours and it's always just....ugh.....I don't even know here have some ibis paint insanity inspired by shane ackers 9
Link: Hey Pipit, Cawlin gave me a love letter to deliver to Karane.
Pipit: What?! He did?! Well, um...
Link: Don't worry, I didn't give it to her. I know you like her. I gave it to the ghost who haunts the bathroom at night.
Pipit, who takes nightly patrols and knows exactly who Link is talking about: ...
Link: So the ghost fell in love with him and now haunts him at night. She gives him nightmares.
Pipit: Who hurt you?
Link: Cawlin and his friends did, were you not paying attention?
