Any Requests?

Just to try and make my blog a little bit more lively, does anyone have any requests for stuff they want to see? More aviation posts or my military collection? Anything really?

Hey everyone. I just made a new blog for one of my other OCs and I’d really appreciate it if y’all could go follow it too. I’m going to bounce back and forth between the two but I’ll most likely be more active on the new one. Again, if you could go give it a follow it’d mean the world to me.

I know my blog is far from the most active and definitely not the most interesting as I don't put pictures up with answers, but I want to thank you all for sticking with my blog and not unfollowing despite my long absences. It means a lot to me that you all stick around. Thank you so so much

A rare sight to behold and it's now part of my collection. During WWII the United States Navy experimented with the idea of issuing garrison caps for the dungaree uniforms that could be interchangeable with the traditional dixie cup caps. The plan was eventually shelved and would never be considered again and officially died with the retirement of the dungaree uniforms in the 1990s. That wasn't to say that these caps didn't see use though. Much like the early Ike jackets, these were custom items that the sailor would have to pay for himself. They followed the same pattern as other US Navy and US Marine Corps garrison caps and fit well with the uniforms worn while at sea. These are extremely uncommon and this is actually the first time I've ever seen one in person. Knowing what it was and the fact it was only $4, I quickly snatched it up and now proudly have it in my collection with my US Navy Lieutenant's garrison cap.

It’s quite alright. I’m not the most frequent with posting so I typically just fly right under the radar.

This is what I love about being a pilot, the beautiful views I get while flying along the river and being able to watch the sunset reflecting off the cliffs and the water.
