Yeah! Im working on a few scenes too for my current fic but yknow time and motivation etc

Time is my enemy currently tbh I’ve been so busy this semester and haven’t had time to write let alone motivation 😔 but I’m really hoping that I can get to working on it soon, also the biggest reason I kinda dropped off writing it was bc I felt like I got stuck on the exposition and couldn’t figure out how to get to the meat of the work u know

I keep thinking abt tipsy Angela in 1x09 saying she might kiss Brennan at the Christmas party and then immediately bi-panicking and covering it up saying “in a festive non-lesbian manner” girl could you be any more obvious…..

Notice how Brennan is saying something personal and Sweets is offering a generalised observation that is logically derived from Brennan's example. Just like emotion and logic fail us when they are exclusively used as defences meant to protect us from the world, they are also equally effective and vivid in the consequences they bring once they are applied to everyday situations and we use them to help someone else. :") You might even end up helping yourself in the process. <3
