New fic series premises

Soon I will be releasing a fic series based off of the clone wars/tbb characters (mostly the clones) set in a modern world with supernatural elements. It will also feature my trooper sonna in this au of sorts.

Here are the basic pieces of worldbuilding lore:

The Fetts are well renowned monster hunters dating back to 1700's.

There are all of the typical monsters and demons (vamps, werewolves, wendigos, Skinwalkers, ghosts, etc), but there are also a handful of species that are basically hybrid/mutated versions of the common types.

Elites- (Physical attributes) A mutated version of a vampire, with demon like attributes. Unlike vampires, Elites can walk mostly unharmed in daylight and go longer periods of time without blood. When an Elite shifts, they sport long inky black appendages from their back (between 2 to 6), legs become more digitigrade and contain claws, their fingers grow longer and sharper, and their limbs are dark and littered with veiny black lines. In addition, they are able to open their mouths past their cheeks, allowing them to open their mouth about 9 inches at half shifted and 13 inches at fully shifted. When they are fully shifted, they reach on average about 15 ft., 10 ft. when halfway.

Elites- (Familial) When an Elite claims an individual or individuals as family, they will become protective of them. these individuals are referred to as "Elite'an". Amongst Elites, it is considered extremally taboo to harm or target another's Elite'an.

There are some cases of supernatural beings being more pacifist and ignoring their nature, but most hunters choose to ignore these claims.

after several days of working on this piece, I have finished! Helped freshen up on some of my art skills and such.

So, ya'll may be wondering as to who in the kark this girl is? Welp, do ya'll remember my pieces of my clone trooper Shrike? This is Shrike, they are the one and the same. Now bear with me, I know that some may think that is stupid and doesn't make sense. So I will be explaining that in a sec. I have been waiting to go into detail about Shrike's background and info till I have their face design, and such, done. So now is the time to get into what is my cringe worthy thoughts of my clone trooper Sonna. HORRAY!

Background:

A long while back, the Kaminoans were doing a series of tests to perfect their decommissioning tactics. Using the cloning material of REDACTED, they cloned a total of 666 test subjects.

They were not given increased aging as that was still in the works

Each subject was killed off, one by one, till they got to the youngest of them, EDC-666. At that point, the kaminoans had just about lost interest and the last clone was left to rot, forgotten, in a crypto pod.

Fastforward to about 9-10 years before the start of the clone wars, A kaminoan assistant happened upon the forgotten clone. Bringing up their finding to the head scientists, it was decided after much heated debate that the random subject would be used for a side training experiment.

Thus, EDC-666 became ECT-666.

Training:

It was decided that ECT-666 would be trained in assassination and black ops training.

Most of their weapon training specialized with melee weapons for quieter executions.

ECT-666's favoritism of longer blades and throwing knives did not go unnoticed.

Due to their small size, they exceled at stealth and hiding.

As a result of ECT-666's obvious difference in appearance to the other clones, they were trained separately, and not permitted to be seen by anyone else but the kaminoans and the trainers.

A good portion of their usual trainers showed disgust towards ECT-666. Many interactions left them with bruises or at worst a broken bone or two.

This led to ECT-666 having to learn to see to their own wounds, in fear of the Kaminoans seeing them as a damaged product.

In addition, a chunk of ECT-666's training followed the ARC-trooper programs. So, they were unofficially, partially trained as an arc.

Physical Apperance:

At the start of the clone wars, ECT-666 is roughly 15 years of age, standing at exactly 5'0.

They are of female origin, are naturally blond, with blue-green eyes (Hazel?).

Receives during their time in the war several scars; one traces across their right eye and nose, an acid burn scar on the left cheek that resulted in lack of said cheek, spiderweb like scars on their right arm from blacking and explosion, and various other small scars here and there. A singular scar runs around their left shoulder, was a result of a training session that went too far.

Mental State:

Unknown to the Kaminoans, ECT-666 has some of the memories of the other clones like them from the decommissioning tests. Most of said memories were of their deaths and the harsh treatments they received. They most come from nightmares and when they get a sense of deja vu. ECT-666 has no idea as to why, but they don't let it slip.

Due to the collective trauma; of watching clones being decommissioned, grueling training, and somehow having a vast number of the memories of the other clones of REDACTED. ECT-666 suffers from PTSD, depression, anxiety, and stress.

ECT-666 most likely has ADHD that they inherited from their template. Additionally, they are semi on the autistic scale.

Has zero self-restraint to jump headfirst into danger.

ECT-666/Shrike's life in a nutshell (vines/memes) pt. 1

would anyone be interested in a modern day supernatural/monster au of the clone wars featuring the clones and my ECT-666 Sonna? I already have the premises' of 21 chapters fleshed out. A lot of angst, so much tooth rotting fluff. Would anyone be interested?

to anyone in the areas impacted by the wildfire smoke, my #1 biggest piece of advice as someone whos been dealing with wildfire smoke in the NW united states for years, is build yourself a Corsi-Rosenthal Cube

they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!

i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies

JUST HAD THE WAIRDST F'ING DREAM!

(for some context, I have a dog named Storm, she is a Siberian Husky. Recently found out from the breeder that she was the runt. Originally, I never wanted her due to when we had to re-home our last dog, my parents swore to me and my siblings that we would never get another dog, and being more or so a cat person. So I was the only one that was against getting her, but guess who ended up caring for her the most?! Me. Her care and training basically became part of my rent. I was fine with it, besides the training part, she is a butthead sometimes. Fast-forward, I now consider her as solely MY dog, like 90% my dog. And I love her with my whole heart.)

(for even MORE context, the reason why this dream was weird to me is because it started very far from what they normally are. The average dream for me is like a fever dream, whilst this one was more like a reality check dream from God.)

The dream went along like this;

I'm on vacation at Seabrook (beautiful place, highly recommend) with my family, and we brought Storm with us. Me and Storm are walking a trail when I loose my grip of the leash and she goes mad dashing into the woods. After chasing her for a bit, I finally get hold of her leash again when I realize that we're lost, and I have no cell service. After trying to discern the direction back to the trail, a F'ING GRIZZLY BEAR APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE! It's a mother with two cubs. Storm tries to interact with one of the cubs, resulting in the mother grizzly to attack.

At this point, it gets a bit blurry from what I am trying to remember. But I am able to recall; A. Taking a slash to my face B. Grabbing Storm and doing a roll doge C. Smacking the bear with a branch as a distraction D. Jumping on it's back and smashing a rock on its eyes and snout.

After what is the "fight scene" it's easier to remember what happens next. I'm shielding my dog, who cowers behind me, from the mother grizzly. Neither of us move as we stare at each other, till the grizzly huffs and walks away, her cubs following. I proceed to wander the woods lost, injured and bleeding for 2-3 days. Holding Storm close at night and fighting to stay awake in fear of what may be lurking nearby. Finally when we come across a paved road, I remember breaking down and hugging Storm (I'm very weak and my injuries are most likely infected). As we walk along the road, it feels like forever before I see a car. When they stop and call 911, I black out. When the paramedics get there and load me up, Storm gets defensive and lays on top of me on the stretcher.

The dream had two different endings, a good end, and the bad end. The Bad end was a long the lines of waking up, finding out that my dog had been detained and euthanized due to an injury. Discovering that my parents ok'd it, losing all respect for them, moving out and proceeding to distance myself from society by living in the wilderness of Washington.

The Good ending went more along the lines of waking up to Storm laying beside me, my family nearby. I am left with permanent facial deformities and half blind. After mostly recovering, Storm is put through the training to become my service dog. I wear a mask as to not scare children, even my own siblings.

When I wake up I'm like, really confused and still think that it was all real. And I remember thinking word for word, "I would do it all again, for their sake.". Then I quickly realize that it was all just a dream.

reposting this cause my heart instantly declared it as canon, they definitely would fail miserably at covering for Crosshair! 🤣
