He'd probably feel so bad - Freeze mid-chop {kinda like he did in the 2006 remake} and try to steady his breathing {his eyes are so wide rn}

Would drop everything and walk over to his child to gently guide them back upstairs, pointing to the basement and shaking his head to gently gesture 'no./don't follow me down here.'

If they happen to be crying, his reaction time is even faster - Quickly wiping his hands off with whatever dirty towel he has around and running to kneel down to comfort his poor baby. Would again, gently guide them upstairs {or even carry them}, making sure to take a break and stay with them until they felt better.

Luda Mae has to tell them to "stay away from the basement, scary things go on down there, child."

"It's not for us to see, child. Your daddy's working hard down there, best leave him be."

Let's just say..you won't have any more problems with the basement after what his child just saw.

Thomas is such an anomaly that I genuinely don't know. In canon time? Probably not. If he was born in a more modern-era? Yeah, maybe! I think he'd like how rowdy wrestling can get, how over-the-top it can be {to the average person}, and how..'similar' certain wrestlers are to Tommy {appearance wise} - He's a bit confused but also fascinated when he sees people {men in particular} who have similar builds to him, bonus points when they wear masks lol

Thomas is so exceedingly grateful for you - You're the light he didn't know he needed in his life. He cherishes you; Really, he does. Every time you smile at him, every time you offer to do something for him, bring him beverages or gifts, even when you walk past him, he's entranced.

If you're physically affectionate with him, you'll need to wait some time before he's fully ready. He won't reciprocate affection until he's fully accepted that you two are in a relationship. Once he has, however, his affection is small - It's strictly for you.
