"Lightning In A Bottle" By Lady Day (day221b) On AO3 !!! It Is My Favorite Fic For Hands Down Even Over

First time posting, go easy on me.

So I have decided to write down certain personal headcanons and things to add in my story 'more than a hundred years' and for art projects. MTAHY plays after Platinum

Should I showcase the family relation for every character in MTAHY?

1. Both Akari and Ingo stay in Hisui.

Yeah I know that sounds bad. But go with it. It all goes into a weird combination I thought about while taking a bath. Saturday.

Akari stays in Jubilife and finds someone. Dawn is the descendent of Akari, who is actually a Dawn from another verse. This is why Dawn in chapter 2 of MTAHY has bad connections to the name Volo,but since she heard about it as a child, it jumped out of her memories.

Ingo is a different case. He was from this verse and causes something that u thought about Saturday, but with art by Kamaboko on Twitter and a comic I saw by @startistdoodles (seriously check them out and through their post you will find the link to Kamaboko... I am too stupid to link shit correctly) and my bathtub creativity... Seriously I should take more baths if I get nice shit like this.... I have chosen that Ingo has his own sets of descendents that don't clash with him and his brother being born.

Looker and Anabel teach Emmet about how his brother was taken by a Wormhole and an early rift Volo made(the Volo part unknown to them) and how these wormholes are the cause time, space and verses are botched. The rift being the only reason why Ingo stayed in their own verse, as the wormhole might have punted him into another dimension, if not for the rift....

Situation like this:

Ingo and Emmet get born

Ingo gets sent back 200 years and cannot leave.

Ingo has a family and his own set of descendents.

Those do not clash with him and his brother being born, but just suddenly appear in the universe as if they always existed...

I wanna add them to the story, but I don't think they would fit in. Maybe have them show up once or twice and then visit Unova, because they wanted to go there... Who knows. Definitely will be added to another story I might do.... I am hyped for all the shit I maybe plan.

Edit: they would definitely both have a Hisuian Sneasel, carefully breed in their family... Like Modern Volos Growlithe being Hisuian.

Also I was or am going to hurt Emmet even more by having a character I made for them fall to Hisui after the Volos story. Also with amnesia, but directly drawn to Ingo, since they know each other... Unknown to them

2. Volo is Immortal, the direct ancestor of Cynthia and nephew of Cogita.

This is clear with the reader, but not with any character besides Volo himself. Maybe a punishment from Arceus, for him to see what he would have destroyed....or just a punishment for his people, with him and Cogita being the only survivors and the only ones having to feel the punishment...

Volo watches over his descendents and saw what they have accomplished and even saw Cyrus trying to attempt something similar, only to be stopped by Akari bloodline.

3. The Clans exist.... Somewhat and are the lake guardians now.

As in MTAHY, the clans still exist under Almas and Dar. They stay in contact with a few other descendents, mostly Tovi(Melli)/Marie(ocMaya) and Rita(Palina/Iscan)/Fiorella(unnamed Pear Member).

There are two reasons why they didn't stop Galactic.

1. They where not in Sinnoh

2. Since they alone couldn't stop

Galactic, they gave the professor and

Cynthia thumps up to help.

Also the Lake Verity Guardian is either Barrys family(with them saying Barry is currently to young and wild to take such a role) or Dawns family(with them saying Dawn is to young to take the role in game... Would explain why Mesprit wants to 'play' /get 'chased' by the player.

4. Dawn does not keep any legendary she encounters.

Yeah not much to say.... About that

5. Like my AO3 tag says, Sinnoh can't have a second for itself....

First Volo, then 200 years later Team Galactic and then, not long after it Platinum United. Yeah that is goint to be the new villainous team. Chapter 3 already name drops them. What their goal is? That is a secret, but we will have Volo on the good side.

6. I lost most of my text, since my phone tends to reset apps when I am not directly on them.

Did not feel like explaining my version of PLA, that would lead to MTAHY. It would include Hana, Mariko(the one the reader is based on and the rebirth of in MTAHY, but won't have a name and her design is up to you) , Ava and another character falling afterwards named Eve.

If I may ask, there was this fic ( on ao3) where future jon goes back in time and helps their past self and gerry. On top of looking for martin. If anyone can help me find it I would be very appreciative.

I'm gonna be honest,, I just read fics of the kid!Jon time traveller theme and I got a bit shook when they were all unfinished and I was craving for more. I just started doodling my own version to cope, one with a much more light-hearted and funny tone

And hoping that maybe my drawings might inspire tma fic writers to write more "jon time travels to his 8 year old self" fics,, i love the theme so much i dont mind reading it again and again

1.) Too much time by Hix (180k+ words) - angtsy as fuck,,, super slow burn when it comes to jon’s relationships with others,, my fave one so far. Jon has his memories intact but elias doesnt 2.) Time is Hard by Serazimei (130k+ words) - a bit more light hearted than the first fic,, friendships are formed faster and there are a lot of sweet moments. Elias is forced to remember what he did to jon but has no plans to end the world after

3.) The Timeline of Theseus by Applea (90k+ words) - Jon doesn’t remember anything at all but is still powerful. Elias keeps him around because of his abilities 4.) A break in the clouds by Ash_ Rabbit (107k+ words) - here the real Elias keeps his body and Jonah is in James Wright. His interactions with Jon are so adorable hngg

This week we are doing a workshop on idea generation in school. The first assignment was to reimagine old comics from the 50’s and 60’s. One of the comics was a story about 2 kids going on a summer adventure with this guy who just shows up in their house one day. For some reason he is freakishly cartoony while everyone else is drawn semi realistically. In my mind he’s an alien trying to pass as a human so he can abduct someone. He sucks at his job tho.

hey natm fans you guys wanna do a group rewrite of kahmunrah rises again to fix any issues you had with how it turned out? like for me I wasn’t a fan of the timeline inconsistencies and the whole “not-confident teenager does a thing and becomes confident” trope so I have a beginning that I can post then other people can continue and build off of that in the reblogs

you can write as much or as little as you want, and you can leave little gaps for people to fill in later if you’re not sure exactly what happens there but you know the gist of it, just basically keep expanding on the ideas we have

but like I don’t want to post what I have so far if no one’s interested so yeah respond to this post if that’s something you’re interested in, if people seem to want to do it I’ll reblog with the beginning

One things to know before I get on my soapbox. I love fanisty and graphic novels.

In my town's school system there is something called AR. It's the level/point system that helped the teacher keep track of the quantity and quality of the books their students were reading. It was pretty straightforward the levels courspondant to grade level. The higher the grade level the more points the book was assigned. It also kept kids from reading below their level or too much above their level. Like someone at 6th grade reading levels couldn't check out a 12th grade level book. Or a kid at a 10th grade reading level couldn't check out a 7th grade level book. Your probably see the problem with this system by now.

Yeah, I came off a summer of reading as many graphic novels and fanfiction (my older brother introduced me to it) that could possibly get my hands on. That was going into middle school btw. I jump from reading below my grade level to reading at a 12th grade level.

It bared me from walking into the fiction section and forget about graphic novels. This caused me to "missed the boat" on harry potter, preicy Jackson, the divergent series and lord of the rings. I was stuck reading nonfiction books, things I had to take notes on in order to pass test on. It was extra homework; to middle schoolers with bigger problems. No thank you.

But I did figure out how to sneak fiction books. Fist, I found an area which wasn't visible to librarians. It was along the back wall, bottom shelf. Second, I've selected my desired book. I find 3-4 nonfiction books to sandwich it between. Third, hope the librarian use the electronic check out instead of manual. Fourth, if manual try to strike a deal using the previous mentioned nonfiction books. Yeah, I got myself banned from the fiction section by doing this.

Whelp, I'll get off my soapbox now. To anyone reading this thank you. And any teachers, let kids read what they like. it's simple.
