Sorry again for how few and far in-between my Tumblr posts are, guys! I'll try and be more frequent with them!

It hit me a while back that for all I talk about my Next-Gen on Twitter, I hardly ever talk about my fan kids here on Tumblr! So, I decided to throw together a ref sheet for my main girl, Emmy, to get started on that and introduce her to y'all!

Her full name is Emilia Luna-Ophelia Barrabas-Darling, but almost everyone calls her Emmy for short. She was named after her late grandmother on Eduardo's side, although Laurel was actually the one who suggested it when she was born. (Eduardo absolutely cried when she suggested it, not that he wasn't already sobbing lol.) Her middle names were each chosen by one of her parents. (Luna for Eduardo, Ophelia for Laurel bc her mummy's a Shakespeare geek and we love her for it aaaaa.)

Probably 21 in the reference, definitely college-aged!

Working in retail currently to pay the bills, but saving up to attend art school when she gets the chance, wants to work as a background artist in animation.

Is generally a really friendly and outgoing person, extremely open with her personality, interests and affection, much like her mom. KNOWN for her hugs that could throw out someone's back, just generally really kind and chill, basically a big ol' puppy lady. She's also pretty stubborn and abrasive, however, and does have a temper on her, however. Aside from just generally getting grumpy when she's tired, exhausted or frustrated, she is just as willing to throw some HANDS when someone's pissed er off, just like her old man.

A pretty artsy-fartsy kinda gal, but not so much a snob about art, more like she'll happily ramble about art techniques and history when the subject is brought up. Also has a love for dancing, sports and Shakespeare.

Is extremely close with her family, she adores her Mummy Laurel and is a MASSIVE Daddy's Girl for Eduardo, she never misses the chance to see and spend time with them, and always wants to make them proud. (Her dad was her inspiration to start drawing when she was little, and always thinks of Eduardo and Laurel both as her heroes.) Also loves her little brother Leonardo, and is very protective of him, mess with him you mess with HER. >:(

Also loves her Uncle Mark and Uncle Jon with all her heart, they basically were third and fourth parents to her ever since she was a baby and she knows she can always go to them for anything. Very close to her other uncles, too, but out of all of them, she's closest to Jon and Mark. Also loves her Grandmado, and misses her terribly as an adult.

Has ADHD and dyslexia, so she often uses word processors and audio books to help with the latter and tends to plan and schedule her days in advance and stick heavily with routines to avoid losing focus with the former. Still has her struggles but knows she's supported and loved by those around her and is too stubborn to let them win.

Loves avocados, just like her dad. It was one of her first words, and to this day, her and her dad have a designated day all for eating avocados all throughout. (HC BY THE AWESOME @tamaraskabr ITS SO WHOLESOME I LOVE IT QwQ) Other than that, she loves basically anything mint chocolate, she's a simple woman lol.

All the tidbits I've got for now! Plan to follow up the post with some sketches of her other outfits I've worked on! For now, hope this gives some insight on who she is so I can share more art of her on here with context!

Brazil is going through one of the worst climatic crisis ever seen.

i live in the southernmost state, Rio Grande do Sul. we have been suffering from extreme, nonstop rainstorms for a week now. the rivers are flooding, reaching 4-6 meters above their natural level. people are being rescued by helicopters, neighborhoods are being evacuated. entire cities are slowly but surely becoming submerged in water. 60 people missing and counting. 32 deaths and counting.

and this is not new. last november also had a flood like this one. 50 dead, many material losses. it happened again this january, with thousands being left without power or water for days.

three catastrophical disasters within less than a year. three disasters only a few months apart.

this is not natural.

unsustainable agricultural practices and politics led to this. a complete disregard for nature led to this. greed led to this. always greed.

when it comes to the climate crisis, i cannot stress this enough: we need to act now if we still want to live. disasters like this are going to happen more often and they're going to be much, much worse. this flood is being considered the worst climatic catastrophe in the history of my state. i don't know how long it will take for another bigger one to happen and take its place. i just know it will be sooner than it should.

It was around 1am and Tord was attempting to pull an all nighter to work on some sort of invention.

He was working away in his 'secret' lab while Tamara was sitting in a nearby chair, tired as hell and watching him work.

She was exhausted and ready to head to bed, and she knew Tord was too, he was just being stubborn.

With a long sigh she stood up and walked over to where he was working, coming up behind him and putting her arms around his shoulders.

"Take a break"

"No"

Tamara's brows furrowed a bit and she put her head on his shoulder.

"Take a break. Now." She said firmly, but Tord just smirked in defiance.

"And what if I don't wanna?" Tord asked playfully, but his stubbornness was short lived when Tamara suddenly scooped him up and started walking to Tord’s bedroom.

"faen[fuck] you're strong.." Tord said in amazement and slight embarrassment.

Tam practically threw Tord onto the bed, immediately putting her arms around him and snuggling up to him.

She had basically trapped Tord in bed since he didn't have the heart to push her off.

"Goddammit.." Tord grumbled, but there was no real malice behind his words.

Tam just smirked in victory.

Tord was out like a light soon after, and Tamara couldn't help but kiss his cheek as she drifted off as well.

I found I was bisexual some years ago, somewhere between my late twenties and my early thirties. Very late for some people, but I think that it's never too late when it comes to knowing oneself.

I'm still closeted to some people IRL, like my family, but that doesn't make me any less valid.

I wanted to celebrate this Pride Month by making an illustration of Jolyne. She's one of my fav bi* characters. I used this photo for reference.

It's been a hot minute since I draw some fluff stuff like this. Since... 2018? In fact, I have never ever drawn fluff about Jojo's, and it was weird, but in a good way. I was melting in cuteness during the process (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

There are a few pairings in this series I would die for, and I would love to draw them in a cute and romantic way, too. If you have suggestions, don't ask me about explicit NSFW content, but I don't mind spicing up the scene a little bit... 😉

LGBT+ fact about this drawing: for the background, behind Josuke, I painted the colors of the gay flag (the green and blue one), and behind Okuyasu, I painted the colors of the bisexual flag, and blend them all together, to state my headcanon in this matter.

Late night practice

Ship: Tord x Tamara

Type: fluff, one-shot

It was rather late at night and Tamara was practicing her bass guitar skills. Tord was alseep in bed, or at least that's what she thought.

She strummed a few cords as she hummed a quiet tune.

Suddenly she heard something shifting in the bed behind her, before she felt two familiar arms wrap around her.

She smiled and turned her head to give Tord a little kiss.

"Its late. Go to bed." Tord grumbled, his accent more thick from being tired.

"I'm almost done, I promise.." Tamara said with a grin.

Tord, however, didn't like that answer. He Wanted his cuddles goddammit!

He whined a bit and opened his eyes a little, glaring at her without any real malice or annoyance.

Tamara chuckled and rolled her 'eyes'.

"Fine, fine. I'll stop for tonight. Happy?" Ahe asked as she set her bass aside.

Tord just made a satisfied noise before kissing her cheek.

Tamara relaxed a bit in his touch before being pulled back suddenly, causing her to let out a little surprised gasp.

Before she knew it she was wrapped tightly in Tord's arms. Tord obviously had no intention of letting her go.

Tamara chuckled, "Dork.." before kissing Tord's head and drifting off beside him.

(Can you tell I'm a sucker for some cute sleepy cuddles in fics? >:3)

Just some extra doodles of my silly pair. For context, since I can type more here than on Twitter!

I like to think Matt is a good bit taller than Anna is. I personally imagine Matt as the tallest of the main group, prolly upped slightly by being a vampire, so I'd argue maybe about 6'2''? (I'm bad with heights looool.) He's very lanky in general, it's all in his legs. Conversely, Anna is more like 5'1'', a few inches shorter than average. I love to imagine their height difference is pretty noticeable when they're next to eachother, but they don't care. Anna loves her tall, lanky boyfriend and Matt adores his short queen of a gf. (Either she's standing on a stack of books off-screen, or he's both leaning down and bending his knees, anything to kiss her awwww.)

Definitely, I think the whole aspect of Matt being a vampire is a shockingly casual thing between the two. Obviously, it's still a factor and discussion in their relationship, but Matt had initially assumed that Anna would find him a monster when she learned the truth, and was absolutely dramatic as hell about it when she finally did ask him about it, only for Anna to be like, "oh, hey, that's cool." ... Matt was very baffled at first, but figured he could see it from her perspective, in a place where zombie attacks happen periodically and time travelers, axe-wielding maniacs and lobster kaijus (his bad!) kinda are just the everyday, her boyfriend turning out to be a vampire isn't that out of the left field? (Still, he'd probably still be like, "oh, you must think I'm a monster! After all, who could ever love a blood-sucking beast of the night-?" only for Anna to affectionately roll her eyes and cut him off his a kiss.) I think definitely more than anything, Anna is mostly just curious about the vampirism, but loves that facet of her boyfriend and genuinely wouldn't change that about him because she loves everything about him. (She's only asking here because she's a goofball who juggles a braincell with Matt lol.)
