From Shorpy:
I'm not sure who exactly took this photo but it could have been my great grandfather who fought in WWII. The photo was taken in April of 1942 in what I'm guessing is Rochester N.Y. The back of the photo has printed on the back:Chas. J. Ewing 402 Temple Bidg. Stone 2482 Rochester N.Y. April 6th, 1942

I didn't know they had mud in Israel.
This is the only known photo of Michael Wittman's Tiger 007. Probably destroyed by air to ground rockets.
The Cologne Panther.
No clue. Tank of mystery.
Edit: It's a Stridsvagn 74 from Sweden. A modernized (for 1974) WWII era strv 42.

“You posted a picture of a abandoned tank on a beach a while back.Thought you might like an up close of it, mind you it’s a cellphone pic so its not fantastic.”
You are amazing! Thank you. :D
An all-tank revue inspired by x-planes. This my personal effort to increase the tankyness of tumblr. No profits made or wanted. If you find your photo here and wish it gone, just ask.
