As a younger pokemon fan who only got my first pokemon game in 2016, I was COMPLETELY unfamiliar with anything before the Sun and Moon games — including gen 1.

So when Blue and Red walked up to me in front of the battle tree to challenge me to a battle, I literally had zero clue as to who the fuck they were. I thought they were just random ass npcs put here as a random challenge. Even the part about them being former champions didn't even phase me or make me realize that they were important — I was like "oh cool these random npcs have lore". But that's not even the funniest part of the story.

I took 1 look at Blue Oak and decided that despite having zero clue as to who the fuck he is, I wanted to piss him off. And so I literally chose to battle Red not because I actually WANTED to battle him — but because not choosing Blue would make him upset.

But also imagine like. In universe. Pov you are Blue Oak running the battle tree with your husband — one day the Alola Champion (WHO'S FROM KANTO) comes up to the battle tree and seems to be COMPLETELY unaware of who either of you are. You think that this means that you're more likely to get a battle since you offered to battle them. But instead this little eleven year old kid decides to challenge your husband instead for the sole purpose of pissing you off since you failed their vibe check.

EDIT: for the love of GOD please stop making weird comments about my age. I removed my age from the og post because I am so incredibly fed up with people being weird about the fact that I as a teenager was young in 2016.

he pretends to be unintrested and quiet but he is actually secretly listening to everybody else's business, and since his grasp on english is not that strong some members on the team aren't as worried of him overhearing things,

than at the end of the day he goes to the med bay and reports all his findings to medic and the two of them just gossip together while medic performs surgery on heavy until the sun goes down

Hi! I'm super curious, do you have any tips/tricks for drawing hair? Or any archived, since making tutorials can be tedious. I got the shape down and flow, but detailing and shading hair is a struggle- it keeps looking like Polly pocket plastic hair lol

Here I was typing up a whole 4000 word post only to check your blog and realize YOU DON'T EVEN DRAW POLLY POCKET HAIR. Lies!!

As far as highlights go, I try to put them where the hair bends and if I can help it, I try to make them form a larger shape on the top of the head. (Even if they cut out in-between)

Admittedly, I haven't drawn a lot of non-straight hair (not in a very detailed way/recently anyway) and I look up tons of pictures of hair textures/styles I'm not familiar with drawing, so I'm probably not a good spokesperson on how to do that.
