Encounter: The Night a UFO Changed Everything

It was a quiet night in the small town of Millfield, Indiana. David and his wife were sitting on their front porch, enjoying the warm summer air. Suddenly, they saw a bright light in the sky, moving rapidly towards them. As the object got closer, they could see that it was a large, metallic saucer, hovering just above their house.

David quickly grabbed his phone and started recording the strange sight. The saucer made a low humming sound as it moved in slow circles above their home. David couldn't believe what he was seeing - a real UFO!

As the saucer continued its slow circles, David noticed that there were strange symbols on its underside. He tried to zoom in and capture the symbols on his phone, but the object was too far away.

Suddenly, the saucer stopped moving and a beam of light shot out from it, shining down on David and his wife. They were frozen in place, unable to move or speak. The beam of light seemed to scan their bodies, as if searching for something.

David felt like he was in a trance, as if he was watching everything from a distance. He could see his wife beside him, also frozen and unable to move. He watched as the beam of light slowly retracted back into the saucer, and the object shot off into the night sky, disappearing in a matter of seconds.

When the beam of light released them, David and his wife stumbled back into their house, still in shock. They looked at each other, unsure of what to do or say. David's phone was still recording, capturing the entire encounter.

The next day, David shared the video with the local news station, hoping to get some answers. The video quickly went viral, and David was interviewed by several national news outlets. People from all over the world were fascinated by his story and wanted to know more about the strange symbols on the underside of the saucer.

As David continued to investigate, he discovered that the symbols were not of this world. They were a complex system of lines and shapes, unlike anything he had ever seen before. He tried to decipher them, but they seemed to be a code that he couldn't crack.

Strafed by a Swarm of Tiny Lights at Booger Bottom

This is a story of three people-two men and a woman-who experienced a most strange and curious close encounter. The first man, a fifty-year old, left his Tucker home early on April 13, 2003, and drove to Greenville in rural Meriwether County to pick up his brother, a seventy-two-year-old retired autoworker, and his sister-in-law, a retired seventy-three-year-old bookkeeper. The three continued to Albany in a Ford Explorer to visit another relative.

After a warm reunion, the trio headed back toward Greenville on GA 41, a county road with little traffic and few houses. Just after nine p.m., they were only nine miles from Greenville, in a locale known as Booger Bottom. According to the woman, "we entered an isolated stretch of county road when suddenly there appeared inside our vehicle numerous red lights, which seemed to be darting around and moving very fast." She was sitting in the back and saw "a reflection or beams from the lighted spots" on the floorboard. "I looked up and the red lights were all over my husband and brother-in-law."

The brother-in-law slowed down to thirty miles per hour as his sister-in-law shouted at him, saying, "Pull over, those are police lights!"

The man looked around, but there were no police cars, and his brother chimed in with, "Police lights are blue, not red." He tried to count the number of lights but couldn't. They were described as small, "extremely erratic, strobing." A few "had short, laserlike beam qualities," like effects in a disco club. "I felt totally out of control," the driver said. "I looked in the rearview mirror to check on my sister-in-law and saw her in a panorama of bright red lights. . . . The events ceased, as quick as the onset, when a car or motorcycle appeared in the distance approaching the opposite direction." The lights "were everywhere inside the car, except the trunk."

The husband had noticed a red swirling object outside the driver's side door just before the episode started; then "all of a sudden, there appeared in our vehicle a swarm of red lights, jumping and dancing around on me and my brother." One landed on his stomach and lingered before abruptly jumping off. The objects were "gone as quickly as they came. . . . This was out of this world."

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called but had no interest in the incident. An online UFO investigation organization referred them to MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) Georgia.

Olivia Newton, MUFON and paranormal researcher, and another investigator interviewed the witnesses.

"We watch for body language, any discrepancies," said Newton. "They looked at us right in the eye and were very forthright."

The Trio were anxiously seeking answers.

The woman said, "I've got to know what this is. Are they coming back after us? What is they cart us off?"

Yes, indeed, a very good question.
