the thing abt nyachu is that it's so very compelling to me. what if I were a small angry teenager who felt dissatisfied with the world and my place in it in a way that I can't quite articulate and don't know what to do abt and you were mysterious and aloof (and also awkward and lonely and in need of a friend) and like no one I'd ever met before and meeting you opened my eyes to both the material realities of the world and what I personally can do to make it better (by getting in a giant robot and punching cops). and we were both girls (and also possibly at some point roommates)

Originally released April 4th, 2015; Maria's a pyromancer and skilled robot mechanic, infamous for her prowess in robot matches (presumably contests where robots fight each other). They're brash and competitive, but are still a pleasant person to be around. Despite her nature, she's a graceful loser (as claimed by her) and is quite "humble". When left alone, she's usually in her workshop tinkering with robotics.
