A Small Tangent About Octonauts

Ok so something that irrationally bothers me is Calico Jack

He has calico in his name

But he's not? ...a calico???

He almost looks like a carbon copy of Kwazii, which I kinda get y'know family resemblance and all that, but it just feels a bit too similar

Another thing, most calicos are female, with male calicos be 1 in 3,000

That could've either lead to people making headcanons that Calico Jack is either Trans or a genetic one-in-a-million, and I think that would've been really cool

Also if there's one character that I would headcanon as trans, it's Peso.

The episode "The Great Penguin Race" feels kinda trans-coded to me, but maybe that's just me. Lemme know what you think
