Alr, so this just seemed like a really fun trick to do, so I just felt like making another version of it instead of doing my hw :/
This definitely doesn't work as well as rhe original image, but hey, at least it looks cool (also bonus points if you guess the symbol in the center)

This is supposed to be a slice of pumpkin pie. To be completely honest, I'm not really that proud of this. It doesn't really give me that "pumpkin" feeling.
my friend and i were going to study a language together and wound up having to cancel our plans due to scheduling pressures, but! through research we came across a really cool resource for reading in a TON of languages: bloom library!
as you can see, it has a lot of books for languages that are usually a bit harder to find materials for—we were going to use it for kyrgyz, for example, which has over 1000 books, which was really hard to find textbook materials for otherwise. as you can see it also has books with audio options, which would be really useful for pronunciation checking. as far as i can tell, everything on the site is free as well.
When you first start learning a language the meaning of all of the words that you learn depend entirely on the equivalent word in a language you speak, and without that word to give it a meaning it would just be a random sound to you, but later on you don’t need that equivalent word for the new words you’ve learned to have meaning anymore and they just exist on their own in your brain without attachment to any other languages and I think that that’s my definition of fluency, when the words stop depending on another language for meaning in your mind
In most Romance languages, the verb meaning 'to want' comes from Popular Latin *volēre, such as French vouloir, Italian volere, and Catalan voler. However, in Spanish and Portuguese, it's querer - which not only means 'to want' but also 'to love': te quiero and quero-te. Querer stems from quaerere, a Latin verb meaning 'to ask; to seek to obtain', which is related to the English words question and to require. Click my new extra large graphic for more information on the evolutions of these words.
Somewhere along the way we all go a bit mad. So burn, let go and dive into the horror, because maybe it's the chaos which helps us find where we belong.R.M. Drake
