what if we kissed in an eternally misty forest?
It’s that time of year to say no to the Salvation Army.
Never forget they let a Trans woman die instead of helping her.
Never forget they have tossed entire families on the street for having an LGBT child.
Never forget they tell non Christian families that unless they convert they will not help them.
Never forget that the Salvation Army is bigoted and hateful, many of the bell ringers routinely heckle and harass LGBT couples.
It's weird how so many people seem to associate crows with the night. I guess because they're black?
Crows sleep through the night, though. In fall and winter you can see them flying off to gather in large roosts just around sunset. I can think of only one encounter I've had with a crow after dark, and that crow was very much dying.
Anyway, the point is that crows are creatures of sunlight. There are a lot of "witchy" crow and moon motifs around, but there should really be more crow and sun.
True and sincere answer to all of the people who ask, "I have just seen X animal, what does this mean?":
Rejoice, my friend, for this is a most auspicious sign! You have received one of the greatest blessings known to human kind: you live in a world full of creatures! Take comfort and enjoy this divine blessing.
It's sad how so many memories are never captured. It just gets lost in this eternal river of time. It just disappears with the person. The world will never get to see those beautiful memories.

I am slowly losing my mind over the shift towards video as the default media format.
I do not find this to be an efficient way to absorb information. I am bored and distracted by the time the largely unnecessary introduction is over. I can't use ctrl+f to find the specific information I'm looking for. If there are instructions to follow, I don't want to have to constantly pause and back up to the part I need.
At least give me a fucking transcript.
in my eyes, any type of self care is witchcraft. taking a shower? a literal and metaphorical cleansing ritual. making food? kitchen witchcraft, obviously. drawing? it’s like a really complex sigil thats purpose is to calm you down and clear your mind. making tea? potions. lying in bed all day binging your favourite show on netflix? a day of recharging your soul. don’t ever feel guilty for not doing complex spells all the time. you’re a witch - everything you do is inherently witchy.

Simple things you can do to bring more love and positivity into the world:
enchant the bus or train you’re on, so that everybody has a pleasant day or a safe travel home
paint protective sigils in the misty windows of buses or shops when it rains, and leave words of encouragement and praise on public bathrooms’ mirrors
bless passing ambulances and firefighter trucks with speed and safety for their patients/destination
wear an enchanted lipstick/gloss for your smile to brighten the day of everybody you meet
enchant your spare change so that it gives luck to the beggars you donate it to; they need it, don’t they?
actually, just enchant your money, so that retail and low-wage workers can have a better day when they serve you
leave blessed acorns and harmless trinkets in various places like buses or waiting rooms; give other people something to wonder about and make their day, and kids an item to roll in their hands mindlessly
bless food and leave it for stray animals; let birds be messangers of hope and miraclous event for everybody that sees them
whisper encouragement to trees and grass you pass by; let them know someone cares, someone sees their beauty, and awaits their bloom
smile at children and pets; provide them with the positive energy that the world is trying to kill in them
leave motivational notes, praise and silly drawings charged with love and hope on post-it notes as you go; they can brighten the day of those that find them
Colour magick:
Yellow - happiness, joy, burst of energy, optimism, freedom
Orange - warmth, creativity, peace, wisdom
Red - seductive, passion, anger, fertility
Purple - magical, glamorous, intuition, power of the universe
Light blue - breezy, clear headed, clarity, freedom, happiness, infinity, calm, cooling
Green - fresh, abundance, nurturing, protecting, growth, fertility, calming, cooling
Magick is just noticing the energy in the tiniest of things, things most people take for granted.
Charging your crystal/charm
Leave your crystal/charm/spell jar/talisman on the corresponding sigil(whatever you're trying to do or achieve), play some music 🎵 near it that has similar vibes/energy as your intention and let the crystal/charm/spell jar/talisman charge as you leave and go about doing your chores.
Let the sigil and music do its job while you do yours :)
To get rid of a bad habit:
Best performed under waning moon 🌒. Take a piece of paper and write down your name at the top. Write down a list of things you WILL NOT do. For example if you're trying to quit smoking, "I will not smoke when I'm stressed. I will not use smoking as a release from my emotions. I will not smoke than one pack a month..." Take the paper and fold it as many times as you want, leaving a little bit of paper at the top. This will act as a flap of an envelope. Burn a candle🕯️ and tilt it so that it's wax drops on the opening and seals the envelope. Take this envelope out everyday and keep sealing it with a little bit of wax everyday until the New moon.
It is important to start with "I will not" because getting rid of things is best performed during a waning moon.
Talk to trees or animals/Connect with nature and/or animals as if they were your friends🌿🐾
Use leaves to make "potions" and magical concoctions🍵
Make wishes with candles and/or above mentioned potions🕯
Pretend that your food or drink was a magic potion of power or whatever you had wished for, lol 🥘🧃
Pretend to be a witch, goddess, powerful being, forest/water nymph, mermaid, or some celestial/"mythical" being🧚♀️🧜🏻♀️🧞♂️🧝🏽♂️
Try to see if you could control the weather with your emotions ⛈
Try to move things with your mind or read other peoples 🧠
Talk to the sun, moons, stars, etc. ⭐🌙☀️
Write spells, chants, or incantations in your notebook or on paper (or napkins, lol) 📜
Notice things you have spent time thinking about seem to happen the way you thought it would or wished it would (maybe sometimes how you wished it wouldnt have turn out *unconsciously manifesting the negative*) 💭
Experience dream deja vu and/or dream messages 🛌
Believed in ghosts and spirits or had some sort of supernatural experience(s) 👻
Collected Rocks, seashells, twigs, etc🐚
Looked for or was more frequently drawn to supernatural/mystical/mythical based books 🔮
Had memories that you couldnt explain or were too young to have and/or had *visions that were true or came true 👁
There are plenty more examples, these are just a few that I could think of on the spot 🤓, please reblog or comment with your own 😬🦋🧿🔮🌙🍃
Best performed under waning moon🌒 (As most releasing spells are)
Write down every negative thing you think about yourself that's stopping you from being your best self. Light a candle and hold the paper close enough that it slowly burns, not fully in flames. As you watch the fire burn away all your negative thoughts slowly, say the opposite of whatever you've written out loud ("I am worthy", "I am beautiful", "I am capable of that job I'm applying for", etc).
Better if you perform this spell outside or with the window open. Watch as the ashes disperse and fly away and similarly let go of the negative thoughts holding you back. Repeat as many days as needed to fully affirm yourself that you're a wonderful human❤️🌠
so i don’t think a lot of people really understand how often south asian culture is misinterpreted and appropriated so i’m making a post about it right here.
any mention of third eyes
any mention of chakras
people wearing bindis when they shouldn’t be
fucking “om” or “aum” tattoos or appliques on things like yoga pants. do you know how fucking disrespectful it is to put a symbol that is so important to my religion and culture on the ass of some white chick’s yoga pants
people wearing maang tikka when they shouldn’t be
anklets with bells on them are very important to the dance culture of south asia and it’s disrespectful to wear them outside of a traditional dance setting
feel free to add any more that i missed because i’m fucking tired
