Hey guys, just a warning because I feel like this bot is targeting LGBT tagged items. If you get a message like this one, you won’t be able to view the post if you click because it will send you to an endless log in screen or tell you you need to follow the person to see their stuff. It’s a dummy account.

The message is designed to be upsetting so you will want to click it and see the contents.

I was upset enough to click but luckily I was in the app so i knew it didn’t make sense to ask me to log in again. I then looked CLOSELY at the log in page and realized the url is fake. This is a phishing attempt and I don’t want any other lgbt people to be taken in by it. Be careful out there.

Also: don’t stigmatize HIV+ individuals because they all have different circumstances and might’ve  gotten the virus from a variety of sources (sex, occupational, birth, blood transfusions in other countries). 

HIV-related stigma remains a huge barrier to preventing HIV, and is linked to a low level of people testing for HIV. 

The bad news is that Trump is cutting America’s spending on HIV year after year.  He has taken steps to weaken the Affordable Care Act since coming to power.

Right now there’s a petition going on titled “Save 6-Year-Old James From Chemical Castration”. Luna, the youth in question, has faced emotional abuse from her father (cutting her hair, refusing to call her by her pronouns, etc.) Jeffrey so her mother, Anne, took him to court to defend her daughter and won the case (note that the case file listed on its website mentions nothing about supposed ‘chemical castration’, it only mentions that the mother is trying to help her daughter by getting her a psychologist). Here’s an excerpt from the case file:

I don’t know what the dad is trying to achieve with this other than form a smear campaign against Luna and her mother and spread transphobia but if you can I highly recommend you report this petition before this man does any more damage.

According to cutestat their website’s domain name seems to be registered by GoDaddy and they seem to be running on Wordpress, perhaps it would help to alert them about this too.

I’ve been holding on to this for a while. In… September? I was having a Really Bad Time. So I ended up making this comic to sort of… sort through some stuff. It really helped.

I hope maybe it can resonate with other people, too.

finally understanding why i have never been able to look at someone and think their attractive makes sense now. I’ve never had a big thing for sex neutral to it but then suddenly being so close to someone it sparked and i had a want for the first time. then that reaction went away as i grew away from that person and didn't resurface until another extremely close emotional relationship. finding out how i felt was something real that i wasn't wrong. that its ok to be in that in between is so comforting.
