I Don't Think The "Damien Side" Of Dark Is The Calmer Part Of Them.

I don't think the "Damien side" of Dark is the calmer part of them.

I think that Damien does try to appeal to us in a "reasonable" way, but he's also full of pain, and anger, and righteous, fearsome indignation for the circumstances of his death.

I was thinking about DAMIEN the other day, and I was thinking about how there are implications about how Actor didn't script ISWM. As well as confirmation that Engineer Mark is Mark, but he's not Actor Mark. Which makes sense.

I don't think it's an entirely new theory when I say that ISWM could very much be like DAMIEN for the audience. Not like... exactly the same situation. But similar. Doreen being there is reason enough for me to think that "Dark" may have some unseen influence on that adventure.

And clearly, with Alu Minium dying (but not really) we're very much in the house still-- which also has to play some larger part in this that we're not seeing. Which like... Mark... Fuck the ego content. Gimme the house lore. Give me stories about other people in other universes and timelines who've fallen prey to it's hunger.

Anyway... I don't think there's Damien/Celine sides of Dark.

I think Dark is just what we've always called them and it stuck. Damien and Celine are their own people. Their own personalities. Their own people. The fact that they share a body doesn't erase that.
