My Personal Prayer To Abbennaea

My Personal Prayer to Abbennaea

O Abbennaea, Radiant Daughter of Phoenix and Sumon, Keeper of Offerings and Purifier of Hearts, grant us thy benevolent presence as we gather in humble devotion. With deep red tresses like the evening flame, illuminate our paths with thy love and wisdom. As we place before thee our blooms and fragrant herbs, transform our gifts into nourishment for all souls, casting aside the hollow and ill-given. Teach us anew the sacred ways, that our altars may be cleansed, and our offerings accepted in purity. O Gentle One, in thy embrace of incense, envelop us in peace, and may thy spirit soar among us as a tender bird, guiding our hearts toward the divine. In gratitude, we honor you, Abbennaea, our cherished goddess, now and forevermore.

O Abbennaea, Beloved Guardian of Alaway's Sacred Halls, we bow before your radiant spirit, wrapped in the warmth of your loving essence. Daughter of the Flame and the Waters, weave your gentle touch upon our offerings, transforming our humble gifts into the blessings of the divine. As we raise our libation pitchers and scatter fragrant blooms, may your grace descend upon us, purging our hearts of doubt and filling our souls with light. Teach us the sacred art of connection, that our incense may rise like whispers of love, touching the realms above. In your presence, let joy flow and harmony reign, as we honor your eternal beauty in all that is pure and good. O Abbennaea, our nurturing goddess, we embrace your guidance with open hearts, now and always.

My Personal Prayer to Adarro

O Adarro, Spirit of the White Dolphin, I raise my voice in reverence to you, joyous god of the waves and protector of all who dwell by the shores. With hands uplifted, I seek your blessing, for you are the Master of Abundance, the one who dances amongst the tides and whispers to the souls of the sea. Come forth, O Adarro, son of Sumon and Phoenix, twin brother of Madarro, hear me, your humble devotee. In the shimmering light of dawn, as the sun kisses the waters, I call upon your radiant spirit to guide my heart and my hands. I present before you meals of fish and offerings of star-fish, sweet water lilies, and fragrant seaweed, wafting incense toward the heavens. May these gifts reach your ears and fill your heart with joy, as you have filled my life with bounty and abundance from the depths of the sea.

Grant me, Adarro, the wisdom to weave my nets with skill and the strength to cast them upon gentle waters. Teach me the ways to honor the rhythm of the tides and to recognize the moments of peril, that I may navigate the currents with grace. Protect those I hold dear as you safeguard the fishermen of old and bring forth the harvest of the sea in merry abundance. I rejoice in your spirit, O joyful god, as you dance along the sandy shore, celebrating with mortals as you guide their lives with laughter and light. Let my heart mirror your joyful essence, so that I may also bring cheer to those around me, with hands that create and feet that follow your dance. In your presence, I find solace, Adarro, and in your wisdom, I seek understanding. May I honor you as the tides honor the moon, in perpetual rhythm and reverence, for you are the lifeblood of the sea and the joy of the shore. Let my voice carry your name, and my heart forever treasure the blessings you bestow. So shall it be, in the realm of the waters and the sands, marked by your joy.

Question & Answer: Books / BOS

Question: Does a Bowynn Myst have a Book of Shadows like Wiccan's have a Book of Shadows?

Answer: A Myst MAY have a journal or reference book. But it is not called a BOS nor Book of Shadows. This depends on up to the Myst. If he/she has a great memory for spells and spells components, they may not have need for one. Other people may have a book or library of books with spell references. Like-wise a Myst may or may not have a journal book, to record their works. It is up to the individual.

They are diminutive in size and said to have bird wings. The Taynon protect the home from all that can befall it. They also are guardians of the family and guardians of children.

BOWYNN GODS: TARM

BOWYNN GODS: TARM

Tarm  (Tarm)  Tarm is the Mammont [Mammoth] god of invention. Tarm and the other mammoth gods were created by Brea and her siblings, along with all animals and humans.

In the early days when the Giants ruled the world, Tarm was the giant of the winds and winter season. He brought on this season to let the earth rest and fertilize itself. This he did with Brea, his mother. But when the younger gods took over and the brothers of the winds were born, Tarm stepped down from this role, even though Tarm will accompany the god Arn in the winter. Tarm however remained with the Akua because he was a most wise god and would create inventions for the gods and later, he spent the Seven Sacred days with the first tribes and creating items they would need to survive. These inventions were items like brooms, rakes, hand mills and many other items needed to get by every day. Tarm is also the bestower of wisdom to create and discover, so Tarm’s role as a god is still vital.

Tarm is seen as an older god, grandfatherly, with wild long grey hair. His clothes are simple, earthly colored traveling robes and a wood staff in hand. In his totem form he is seen as a burly mammoth. All items are sacred and offered to Tarm.  Also gifted to Tarm is bowls of milk and woven fans, as well as votive images of mammoths.

Bowynn Gods: Draeken

Draeken (Dray-ken)  Draeken are beasts created by the god Brand to protect people and earth from the wrath and pranks of the god Mano. Draeken are the Bowynn version of 'Dragons' in every shape and form, for the most part. The only difference being is that Draeken can take the forms of people as well. The only way to tell is by their skin being marked with a draeken. In many ways Draeken are a form of Kii; as such, these Kii protect the 7 physical elements of the mortal world. Draeken are also protectors and guardians of the magickal and metaphysical properties, they are keepers or great wisdom of the ages and protectors.

BOWYNN GODS: TORA

BOWYNN GODS: TORA

Tora  (Tor-ah)  Goddess of the night and universal darkness.  She is the creation of Bia at the beginning of time, along with her siblings Saul, Shayla and Daeth. She is not seen as a negative goddess but merely a guardian and essence of the element of night and all that night pertains to. She is particularly much a patron to people who are “night owls” or feel more attuned to work nights. Those that find a bond with Tora will often light floating lanterns to her and send their prayers to Tora using these lanterns as a form of a link between them and Tora.

Tora was not born with her godly attribute but like her brothers and sister, had to gain it. She wrestled with a pair of great black celestial panthers that were the guardians of the night. Winning them over, she tamed the two great sky cats and made them her steeds instead of destroying them.

To this days Tora is seen crossing the night sky with two panthers. Tora eventually wed the god Daeth and from them was born the goddess Morrighynn, which took over the control of the moon at night.  Tora also gave birth to the dream goddess Naraea.

Tora is seen as a motherly goddess, with long black hair and garments of black with silvery accents. She is often seen with her black panthers or as a black panther or black cat herself, when mortals are close by. Sacred to Tora are votive images of black cats and black panthers, as well as any nocturnal creatures. Also sacred to her is candles and lanterns and black tea.
